I'll give you 5 neighborhood tips:
1. No HOA
2. No neighbors with Harley's
3. " " with dogs
4. " " with power tools
5. " " with teenagers
That should keep the noise level down and keep Karen's out of your business.😂
Rick. You missed a lot on this advisory. The top items are 1. Stop eating out. 2. No more Starbucks. 3. No smoking and no drinking other than coffee home.
The next order is increased income. I see help wanted signs posted. Get a part time job for both him and her. When I was working my full time job with commute averaged 60 hours a week for over twenty years as I also did Saturdays. I made seven big lunches every Sunday for the freezer. And made a thermos of coffee for my out the door trip to work. Today at age 76 I have no debt and three houses. Work pays off, sitting on your backside at McDonald’s gets you fat and poor.
I went for the short attention span 😝
Excellent- And keep your cars forever and don't buy new.
Most student loans being forgiven are loans that will never be repaid back because people are stuck in a loan they can't afford, and bankruptcy in the past has always made it difficult to discharge or restructure the debt. I heard recently some laws were loosened which make it easier than it used to be, but it's still only a fraction of the bad loans. So it makes me laugh when people act like the government is handing out checks, when in reality it's bad debt and if it were held by a bank it would've been sold off and written down years ago.
The car payments are crazy. I’m retired, went down to one car. $467.00 a month 8 months left. Great advice for younger people about the credit cards and car payments. Daycare ……my son in law and daughter were paying $1000.00 a month for kindergarten. For one child. Good job, great advice, for me personally Dave Ramsey is a bit mean and extreme. My opinion. ❤️🌵
@@jamesp.7496 I agree the expenses our kids face now is extreme. Daycare is brutal.
I think the main reason people going higher on the house amount is because it's really hard to find any decent home in the 300's in the Phoenix metro without expensive renovations. Yea, if you want run a down mobile home, or live in a rundown neighborhood with bars on the windows.. I have a friend who bought a manufactured home, and she has to pay an extra 1/2 percent on her mortgage just because it was a manufacture home.
I agree but most people pick a price point they want to stay in but then change their minds based on emotion after seeing a house they truly want.
Hi Rick, what do you think of Blossom Rock in Apache Junction, phase one just started, with 5 developers. Prices from 500k to 700k+ It is part of the larger community of Superstition Vistas. At completion superstition vistas is going to be 275 square miles. IRONWOOD DRIVE AND RAY ROAD------JUST SOUTH OF HWY 60---270 SQUARE MILES-----2800 ACRES--approx 11,000 homes over the next 10 years. They say Apache Junction will go from 38k in population to over 70K The developer is Brookfield Residential Properties ULC. It's open desert nothing out there
Jessica and I are going out there next week. Not too much to see yet.
We looked at that area. No thanks. Too expensive and going to get too crowded.
I went to the bank to get a mortgage the loan officer told me I was so broke I had very little in a savings account had a low credit score and showed very little income he had the nerve to tell me I was so poor I could not pay attention
Was it outside if your expectations?
I had a co-worker who banked her check to see if they could live off his salary
Great idea
Good video Rick. Do another meetup again
I would love to!
