Watched them in Cologne a few weeks ago. He performed this song, I grabbed my wife and held her with tears in my eyes. It's a wonderfully powerful song.

Saw this guy play this , never heard of him before. He opened for city & colour in winter 2024, this song was far and away the highlight of the entire night
This song brought me through some tough times. I had just moved far from home and had to take a late-night bus ride across the country. This song started playing when I looked out the window in the dark and had my playlist on shuffle. Its melody and vibes gave me the chills, and I can't forget that moment. It's been my go-to on every trip back home, and it takes me back every time I listen. I don’t even know why.
I have never had a song affect me the way this one still does even after a year of listening
I feel the same. Sometimes it makes dance, sometimes it makes me cry. It always evokes a strong emotional response. This song has a spell on me that's so powerful, like some sort of black magic.

I was lucky enough to be at the last live show he did before the tour shut down due to COVID. It was such a beautiful show.
Anyone one who says there are no great singer-songwriters left needs to listen to this song.
