It really does capture that feeling perfectly. Its 4am here and I can't sleep and for some reason I felt the need to bring this song up and take a good few listens. Why I dont really know. I actually first heard this song about 3 years ago or more right after a direct and very close family member of mine passed that very night. Was my first day of vacation from work coincidentally. I had a trip planned but I didn't quite feel up to it anymore. Everything was being taken care of by other family members so they told me to just go and get my mind off it until the services were ready. I ended up spending the week driving with no particular place in mind for a week. Just traveling the back areas of new York state, delware, and PA. Juat farms and trees and little diners. This song came on once on the radio but it really juat stuck with me for some reason and I ended up listening to it at least once a day for the entire trip. It just...helped? It feels very bittersweet to me. This song ually kind of helped me through it all that. Anyway rant over, good song!

I’m almost 53and my youngest son played this on his phone and I have to say it amazing….I won’t lie admitting I get slightly emotional when the first bars and words are played/sung…I love it… very uplifting, makes me smile when the days are not too great, and we all need these now and then.

It’s been 5 years, and almost 6 now, since this song came out. I’ll never forget being 15, my dad still driving me to school every morning, and always being so happy when this song would come on. Always channel 36 on SiriusXM, Alt Nation.. because he knew it was my favorite station and only put it on when I was in the car.. we would sing it together and smile and laugh because it was just such a feel-good song in such a hard point in life.. memories to last forever.

last night i snuck out with my friend and her older brother and brothers friend and we just drove around laughing and having fun. the guys put this song and blasted it and told us to sit quiet and just listen. it was an amazing moment. 2 am driving listening to this and being in the moment with our feet and hands out the window enjoying life. we then went to this guy from our school that is really mean house and we ding dong ditched his house. he then ran back and jumped threw the window and we blasted off. this song will be the song of last night. truly amazing lol
