That man has played enough softball and accomplished all there is to accomplish. I'm sure he played USA ball for a period of time. He doesn't need the extra reps or to boost his name. Connell is my favorite player. I personally just think he has other stuff to be doing. He is getting close to retirement, so why take a spot from an up and comer younger person. I imagine he likes to have his weekends without softball as he has nothing to prove. Just my 2 cents sorry for the monologue

​@marklambert7515 100 percent, these guys play 200-300 games a year and older you get the more you feel it. I played for 15 years, only 2 years of B conference, the rest was C and D class and a lot of league ball year round. Played close to 300 games one year and it took its toll.

Jones never gets cheated. He should be lead off. Riley is to inconsistent.

Feel like keeping Jones towards the 4-6 spots are great in terms of securing runs. Res first 4-5 are pretty consistent when it comes to setting the table and Jones is someone you know can put it over without effort. Leading off with a solo home run isn’t the smartest thing and we all know what Bradley’s mindset is when he comes up 😂
