I just came back from Tuktoyaktuk. I had a great ride. Got lucky on weather, dust, and fires. When I came back down the Dempster I was going to get gas at the station you show, but they were out of gas, just had diesel. I went ahead and headed on down to Stewart and made it, but was a little nervous. I had filled up in Eagle Plains. I was on my 2012 1200GSA. Leave early in the morning for less dust, better pictures of the mountains, and less traffic. No wait at all on the ferries. Safe travels!
I too just got 2 liters out of that gas pump on the way out so probably both of us were waiting on that weekly truck to come.
Glad to see you made it that far. Loving the videos as I get to relive last years ride and the various landmarks.
That's great to hear. I try to keep these short because I know most viewers are watching on a cell phone they're holding up but it's so hard as you know because there are so many cool things to show and it just makes the videos longer. Just sharing the flow a bit, I'm doing 500 miles a day many of these days and recording about 60 minutes of content (iPhone, Drone, 360, goPro, SLR) then pairing it down to 10-15 minutes. Not extreme editing but I do have to sacrifice some really cool nature.
Well Mr MOA guy now I want to ride my BMW F750 GS from Manitoba to the yukon. Thank you for the inspiration
I saw a TON of F-series bikes in the Yukon. They outnumbered the bigger GS bikes. Do it! Take as much time as you can. There’s so much to see.
Hey Danger with a name like that. I wouldn’t have taken you for a person who’s sensitive to smoke 💨😂
Just giving you a hard time. Keep em coming! I’m watching brother 👊🏾.
Stay safe!
Rough road, I'd love to go back with 2 spare tires.
Enjoying your daily updates Adam. That's a lot of work, so thanks for the effort. Question: How did you get your bike from Charlotte to Oregon? I must have missed that explanation in your videos. I love the new helmet, are you using the Sena SRL for it?
Thanks,
Walt

Hi Walt, yeah daily videos are taking a toll. I'm keeping it up but rolling into a tent-site at 9PM, editing until 10:30 then uploading them when I have WiFi is not a great pace. It's also why I gave myself a one-week buffer in case I lose the ability to edit or upload for a few days. I had a friend who was heading NC to OR haul my bike out although I'm on the hook for getting it back home but it saved 3000 miles on the tires and oil which was huge. I'm using the Cardo Packtalk Black (bold with nicer speakers). It's not plug & play but with a bit of cutting of the ear holes, you can make it work. I have the Cardo base on 3 helmets so I just move the device itself between the helmets whereas the Sena would only work with other Notch / GT-Air helmets
