Very nice car and comfy car to drive, very powerful and very strong turbo diesel engine, it drives so smooth and this car is solid like a tank, exceptionnal reliability and durability, also very economical CDI engine.

It's a good car, i have mine 12j 180CDI.
Yeah it's reliable if you do the maintenance.
I have to replace the muffler and windshield viper assembly because it has too much give and it bumps against the pillars.. and then I think I'm good. I've already replaced so much it's practically a brand new car.
i think it's really good car, but not with cvt transmision ( i genaerally don't like cvt gearboxes) i drove 200 136 hp with manual and it was really good comfy car.
Does this car have any chronic problems?

I had a 2007 Mercedes A-Class A180 CDI with a 6-speed manual that my grandparents preowned. They gave it to me in 2019. In January this year I sold it because it was constanly breaking down. They're practical and comfy cars 'til they hit 100.000km.
To make things clear the A-Class & B-Class from that generation were basically the same car and shared the same problems.
We had suspension problems shock absorbers were ok but the springs were horrible. 2 A/C Compressors failed, the second one was the reason I sold the car because A/C Compressor, alternator flywheel pulley (that broke in 2020 and costed me 500 bucks) are connected by the v-belt and you need both to work correctly and also sooo many electrical problems. This car was an avantgarde to the hightest trim back then. part-leather seats that ripped, driverside heated seats stopped working, transmission issuess grinding noises at the end of my ownership when changing gears, power folding mirrors that I had to push a little so they could fold out, blowing motor that just worked on the LV.5 setting and made a sqeeking noise, park distance control that randomly beeped and the worst thing the engine wasn't corretly mounted by Mercedes when they build the car to it rattled like mad but that's the fault of my grandparents. They didn't want to bother Mercedes and so they never reported this problem.

To me it seems like diesels would be better for cruising as they seem to rumble away at lower speeds where I'd prefer more quiet ;p
Crusing = low Speed so Diesel is loud and grumpy....? You Jean at high Speed it is louder than benzin/gasoline, because at cruising you might want to buy gasoline as it is more silent and cheap to buy and maintain. Diesel is good for more driving as it is more expensive even used at the same mileage

Yes, there is.
If not you can add it to any W245 with just the Knob on the steering wheel. Hard part is to activate it in software

How can you activate sport mode? A girlfriend has this car but she only has the c/s button but the sport mode doesn't activate
The S is sport.

There is no "sport" mode, s is short shift and used for more responsive driving on Mercedes automatic. To have "sport mode" you need an active base under the car with adjustable dampening and steering, which none of the w169 A klass or B Klasser T245 ever had so there is no Sport mode even possible

Aga gözlerin kapalı alabilirsin hiç sıkıntı yaşamazsın (manuel, sakın otomatik alma CVT 200 000km de kırılıyor yaptırması da zor ve pahalı ondan sadece manuel al) Motoru C serisinin aynısı sadece hız limiti koymuşlar yani arabanın ömrü uzun 450 000km de bile gördüm. Bende aynısı var, boyum 173, araba hafif alçak kalıyor benden boyluysan tavsiye etmem :)

1. sunroofs are shit, don't get them. They leak and they're loud at speed
2. The car is loud. W245 models are straight up loud, too little sound insulation.
3. poor seat and steering wheel adjustment for the driver
4. Brake pedal feels like you need to press it all the way to earths core before it registers (that's just how they are)
5. Stock lights are poor at best, almost dangerously bad visibility at night
6. Knowns rust issues on all 6 doors. Mine rusts on 4 out of 6. No other rust issues though.
7. Handbrakes are shit.
That's what I can think of on top of my head. It's otherwise a very good car. Engine is bulletproof. It was made at a time when Mercedes really needed to push out something good, and this is the result. A rushed product, that's mostly good, at least where it matters.

@@utkukarababa8432 Dikkat et korkutmak istemem ama CVT en kötü otomatik vites olarak seçildi çünkü arabaya çok zorluyor ve otomatik vites değiştiren garaj daha tanımıyorum yani kırıldımı bitti. Benden tavsiye aldığın fiyata satabilirsen sat aga zarar edeceksen kalsın
@@blazbohinc4964 I agree on most points had a 2008 A-Class A 180 CDI Avantgarde-trim myself so I can relate to a lot of these problems I mean it's basically the same car
-The lammelae sunroofs are garbage, tho the prefacelift models had an optional glasroof, can't go wrong with them.
-The cars are loud, but compared to other compact MPVs they're alright, don't expect luxury because you pay luxury prices ^^
-Steering wheel leather was ok but the seam just dissolved so on some parts the leather was loose
-6-speed manual that I had was horrible hard shifts and the syncho rings were about to fail
-Ajustment was poor for my car if the preowner wouldn't have chosen the 170€ upgrade for the telescopic steering wheel column, but you had to have the weird seating position because of the sandwich-concept
-I had the upgraded "elipse headlights" not the HID/Xenon but the Xenon-styled light was alwas ok for me
-I had rustproblems as well but just on my trunk rusted from the inside out, shocking when you consider that my car was parked in a garage 365 days a year for 10 years straight.
-Handbrakes are weak there's nothing to add here
Other problems are
-Noisy diesel engines I mean mine vibrated like a 300.000mile sprinter since we got it; sterring wheel and shifter also vibrated all the time
-The CVT "Autotronic" transmission come from Jatco; Nissans transmission manifacturer they're known to fail
-Blower motors are weak not the whole A/C system just the blower motor they like to get stuck and burn out resistors when that happens in my car only full blow worked the level 1-4 did nothing and it squeaked horribly
-crappy electronics in general power folding mirrors that needed help to fold in, heated seats that stopped working, headlight that like to burn out bulbs, park distance control that beeped when you were just standing waiting for the lights to turn green..(minor problems I know but still annoying)
-the ignitions are known to have problems since you have that fancy Mercedes fish-key
-leather seats or part leather seats like to rip on the edges
-suspension parts are weaker than others of it's class.
Positiv would be the good standard sound system, the space while being relatively compact, the passiv safety and high driving position.

@@nikolacekredzi905 No this is a facelift model the older ones where oval-ish shaped. At least that's how my old Mercedes A-Class had it I had a prefacelift and the facelift had these kinds of mirrors.

Buy KIA from 2001 and speak again.. It is loud as it was "cheaper" Mercedes but it holds up with milage it is not a bad quality car just a basic one
this car is the mercedes for the ones who care about the label on a car the most lmao. for being as new as it is, any toyota would be better if we’re being honest lmao. no features in this thing
You aren't very smart, are you? This is a great car, and much better than any Toyota of the age and in that segment. Unless you like japanese tin cans with cheap hard plastic inside and no sound proofing that feel like they'll bend in half if you hit a pothole a bit too hard. This B class is a tank compared to Toyotas, much more refined, solid, comfortable, quiet, etc.
@@derbigpr500 wrong, any toyota of this segment runs way better with a lot less issues today. i love mercedes, but dont mention tank and mercedes in the same sentence unless the mercedes you’re referring to is from the early 2000’s. also, mercedes is a luxury brand, and this isnt a luxury car at all. toyota has never advertised themselves as a luxury car brand either, so comparing them is literally pointless
