Oooh I was never taught the 1 foot s. Sounds more advanced tho than the A like you’d need a better understanding of using your edges. Which is important! But the not the easiest 😅
while i love skating backwards, i have a tendency to do it with one leg more and the other keep more stable, in order to stay on course....i have to work on using the both legs the same way. But going backwards is so cool and i love it. Thx for all you do Polly
Question: is the advanced version of the scooter push where they kinda glide the pushing skate really fast and constantly along the ground? (not sure if I explained it well enough but I'm sure you can visualize what I'm referring to😅)
This video is helpful!! I am learning how to skate backwards but I get nervous doing it because I dont know how to stop backwards. Would you maybe give some tips on how to stop skating backwards or make a video on it please??

I learned how to do crossovers and do a 180 to go backwards today! I think I'm going to try and go backwards like this though, 180s are scary 😅
You got it!
I was always taught to do the 1 foot s, and couldn't grasp it. I found the A MUCH easier.

Would you recommend the A shape backwards for beginners over the other techniques? That seems to be the most straightforward way.
