- It's about time for another bag build! This time it's a smaller leather shoulder bag that is similar to the pattern of our No.72 messenger bag but this one has a little bit different dimensions and also includes padding and a liner for camera gear. Pattern coming soon!
Watch the VLOG for more of the nitty gritty details around making this bag: • Work hard, play hard.....

Gorgeous bag. I'll throw my hat in the ring on requesting to see the making of the padded dividers.
Ditto
Same here.
Wow! Some day I my leather craft skills will arrive but first I will start with that $100 hand cranked sewing machine. Thank you for sharing. I'm inspired
D!
Dream bag
After watching you for years I jumped into the deep end about a month ago and bought a Cobra Class 20. I really got sick of hand stitching everything. I love your videos, very inspiring for me, and I look forward to seeing them. The stuff I'm doing now is smaller products, but I'm working toward larger bags. We donate most of our profit dollars(when we have some) to Veteran's organizations and local food banks. Learning from channels like yours help viewers like me to improve quality and that equates to more money for my Charities.... thanks again for your great videos. They mean a lot to us small guys.
It is so satisfying to watch an artisan plying his trade. Keep up the great work!
thats a beatiful bag
You made that look so easy. I am jealous. Great job.
I have to speed it up and cut it down quite a bit so it's not hours long. It's not all quite as easy as it looks here, but THANK YOU!
I like the fact that you mentioned where you get your hardware. Thank you 😊
Excellent format! Just a certain and ddefinite working process without anything useless. Bravo!
Thanks so much times a million for sharing the vendor you used for this bag, Buckle Guy. This is exactly what I was looking for. I was dealing with vendors off etsy and they were mainly shipping from China. Finally found solid brass hardware and someone stateside!!!!!! Thanks soooo much.
Ooooooooeeeeeee that color is on fire
Very nice!
Thanks Sean!
Cool work sir
That bag is so beautiful . Almost wish i was a camera 😂😍
Ruth Walton hahah I hear that👊🏼
Love the layout of the bag, i need to make one for my mirrorless and all the associated accessories, so I've got some ideas now. I found it interesting the the front half was inside out, and the back half visible seam. I had contemplated that myself.
really good
Intro to my video (because I want to be like Parker): "I opened up Adobe Illustrator to make a pattern...then I tried to figure out the program over the next 17 hours. I gave up and got a pencil and a ruler." That bag looks great! My camera wants an upgrade. :)
one of your best videos to date
Awesome awesome awesome!!!
Thank you! Glad you jumped into the live chat:)
Simply a beautiful bag, it's a feast to see you work
Dude please make a video on that padding!
Love the wallet I bought a year ago
Glad to hear that Glade! Which wallet do you have?
I like the bag. Just so you know Springfield Leather has a 45 mm Rotary Blade Sharpener for $ 17.99 wholesale and $ 21.00 retail. The blades themselves are$ 8.99 wholesale each and $ 28.99 for 5. They also have some decorative blades. Hope the info is helpful.
"Pattern coming soon" - yes please
In the last 35 years I've had about 10 camera bags. I liken it to "The search for the Holy Grail", your never going to find it. With that said I suspect that you will make many more camera bags as your needs change. That is a very nice camera bag by the way.
It’s nice
I like how he just gets to the point. Hi everyone, lets make a bag! OK!
Fantastic job. Well done!
Great job, Parker. Keep up the videos.

Would like to see a colander with you guys and Preston from ‘the elegant oxford’ what a combo that would be.
I would like to see how the inserts of the bag are done. I am new to leather crafting and would like all the help i can get. Thank you.
Awesome... Lovely...👌👌👌
Admiro sus trabajos en cuero, ese maletin es una maravilla, pero en mi país Perú, es muy peligroso andar con esa belleza en las calles, sería víctima de asalto pero de inmediato 😢
I’d like to get a wallet made from that leather! Beautiful!
Excellent work as usual.
I would love to see a video on how to do the tension on the techsew. I am thinking of buying one. thanx
The struggle is real when something doesn't line up but being in leathercrafting you will find solutions soon enough
You should sell this bag it’s so nice
THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! ♥️♥️♥️ I’d love this bag but without the padding inside & a bit smaller lol. I’m definitely going to look for a bag from you. Will the leather women’s tote crossbody bag come back in stock?
What kind of blade do you use on your strap cutter? I have a hell of a time with mine. Also super stoked to see you using leather from Acadia. I order primarily from them and have never been disappointed.
a little confused about why the back panel was welted outwards instead of inwards like the front seam. and how you prevent the edges of the fabric from fraying?
I know the Cobra and Cowboy machines won’t markup vegetable tan or oil tanned leathers with their presser feet and feed dogs. I’m guessing since these are marketed towards the leather working/saddle makers industry they’ve been modified in some way. Any issues on the TechSew machine marking up your projects?
clever guy.
Would love to see the pattern for this bag on your site.
Hola, te felicito por tu trabajo. Es estupendo verte trabajar. Podrias decirme que tipo de adhesivo usas y donde puedo adquirir los botes que usas. Gracias por todo.
Will you be making the pattern available in your online store
super
Hey parker! I subbed to your class on how to sell your leather work. GREAT stuff, information, very well put together. I am so thankful for it. I just need to know, what lens do you shoot with? Or do you have any recommendations for a canon eos-m50?
daanngg the new subscribe motion graphics?! I see that kick up in ch'game.
Nice work! I have a cb 4500 and I sometimes struggle with sewing straight lines... my line will tend to wander a bit. Are you using a guide or is it just a matter of practice?
Why haven’t you posted
Awesome video! Where do you get the clicker dies and the more heavy duty dies you use? Thank You
This looks amazing is there a pattern to buy for it as i would love to make this
What glue is that? is it me or is it Blue? Contact Cement?
Nice bag. I'm looking to take one of my larger old US mail bags and cut the leather down to recreate a smaller version of the same bag. Have you ever hand stitched a bag using 7-8oz leather where all the stitching seams were inside bag? In your opinion Is this weight of leather very difficult to turn inside out to do the stitching and then turn the bag inside out again after all stitching is done?
Beautiful work. Why is this a one of?
I’ve been looking at that glue you used from District Leather Supply. Do you use the Aquilim 315 Cross Linker for oily bridle or harness leathers? I’ve been using Weldon DAP contact adhesive and I’m getting sick of the fumes. Literally sick.
How much are your vertical wallet. Love watching you make leather products. Especially the quick draw rig. I was going to ask about making a two gun fast draw rig. My father is a gunsmith. 51years. When he first started he bought two SSA pistols. 1 in 38 special and 1 in 357. He converted them to 45 LC. Sent them to Colt and had the frames color case hardened. Walnut grips, a matching pair. He then contacted Arvo haka and had a 2 gun rig built. He and my father were acquaintances. They spoke many times on the phone. Unfortunately I just found out that my father recently sold the 2 guns and the 2 gun rig. You would have loved those 2 guns. Sorry to babble on. I am interested in the wallet though. Please let me know.
That was Arvo Ojala
Any chance this pattern will be available?
How do you make the dividers? Plz make a video
Pattern for sale? Thx. Big fan from Slovakia btw!
Hi! Great videos. Thanks. Where do you get those flat spatulas for the glue?
Thank you! I get them from District Leather Supply. You can find them here: bit.ly/2LDzmfU
WHERE DO YOU BUY THE CAMERA BAGS? WHAT PRICE? CAN YOU MAKE ONE WITHOUT THE PADDING?
Oh yeah well good video when I put on ma leather that I worked on, and rock to sum Metallica, Delta Parole, Foo Fighters or the Smashing Pumpkins I feel like I can do anything in the whole wide world.
Did you try veg tan leathers in doing bags ?
Why am I watching this will never be able to own all these tools. but TU any heaux
Everything on this bag w/ the exception of the skeiving can be done by hand. It will take a lot longer but if you’re not a production shop and really want to do a bag it is possible. Lots of helpful hints are given through out.
I love this guys work and with a wonderful attitude as well.
Thanks so much:)
Will you sell this pattern? I’m interested even though I consider your patterns pricey.
Do you have the pattern for sale?
