  • It's about time for another bag build! This time it's a smaller leather shoulder bag that is similar to the pattern of our No.72 messenger bag but this one has a little bit different dimensions and also includes padding and a liner for camera gear. Pattern coming soon!
Watch the VLOG for more of the nitty gritty details around making this bag: • Work hard, play hard.....

After watching you for years I jumped into the deep end about a month ago and bought a Cobra Class 20. I really got sick of hand stitching everything. I love your videos, very inspiring for me, and I look forward to seeing them. The stuff I'm doing now is smaller products, but I'm working toward larger bags. We donate most of our profit dollars(when we have some) to Veteran's organizations and local food banks. Learning from channels like yours help viewers like me to improve quality and that equates to more money for my Charities.... thanks again for your great videos. They mean a lot to us small guys.

Thanks so much times a million for sharing the vendor you used for this bag, Buckle Guy. This is exactly what I was looking for. I was dealing with vendors off etsy and they were mainly shipping from China. Finally found solid brass hardware and someone stateside!!!!!! Thanks soooo much.

Love the layout of the bag, i need to make one for my mirrorless and all the associated accessories, so I've got some ideas now. I found it interesting the the front half was inside out, and the back half visible seam. I had contemplated that myself.

Intro to my video (because I want to be like Parker): "I opened up Adobe Illustrator to make a pattern...then I tried to figure out the program over the next 17 hours. I gave up and got a pencil and a ruler." That bag looks great! My camera wants an upgrade. :)

I like the bag. Just so you know Springfield Leather has a 45 mm Rotary Blade Sharpener for $ 17.99 wholesale and $ 21.00 retail. The blades themselves are$ 8.99 wholesale each and $ 28.99 for 5. They also have some decorative blades. Hope the info is helpful.

In the last 35 years I've had about 10 camera bags. I liken it to "The search for the Holy Grail", your never going to find it. With that said I suspect that you will make many more camera bags as your needs change. That is a very nice camera bag by the way.

I know the Cobra and Cowboy machines won’t markup vegetable tan or oil tanned leathers with their presser feet and feed dogs. I’m guessing since these are marketed towards the leather working/saddle makers industry they’ve been modified in some way. Any issues on the TechSew machine marking up your projects?

Nice bag. I'm looking to take one of my larger old US mail bags and cut the leather down to recreate a smaller version of the same bag. Have you ever hand stitched a bag using 7-8oz leather where all the stitching seams were inside bag? In your opinion Is this weight of leather very difficult to turn inside out to do the stitching and then turn the bag inside out again after all stitching is done?

I’ve been looking at that glue you used from District Leather Supply. Do you use the Aquilim 315 Cross Linker for oily bridle or harness leathers? I’ve been using Weldon DAP contact adhesive and I’m getting sick of the fumes. Literally sick.

How much are your vertical wallet. Love watching you make leather products. Especially the quick draw rig. I was going to ask about making a two gun fast draw rig. My father is a gunsmith. 51years. When he first started he bought two SSA pistols. 1 in 38 special and 1 in 357. He converted them to 45 LC. Sent them to Colt and had the frames color case hardened. Walnut grips, a matching pair. He then contacted Arvo haka and had a 2 gun rig built. He and my father were acquaintances. They spoke many times on the phone. Unfortunately I just found out that my father recently sold the 2 guns and the 2 gun rig. You would have loved those 2 guns. Sorry to babble on. I am interested in the wallet though. Please let me know.
