Kind of… but to say a group has four soloists implies (to me) that they don’t work well together and always try to outshine each other. But I think it’s the opposite. All of them are so ducking talented AND they work well together.

I've always thought that the difference from the 3 groups: twice, mamamoo and bp is that twice are good together, alone would be good but they would achieve more or less the same results as soloist like Eunbi, Yuri, Chaeyeon and Yena. Mamamoo are great as soloist and as a group and they are a group made by soloist while bp are good soloist, everyone of them has the possibility to showcase their own charms when they are solo, while together they have struggles like Rosè which is forced to use a pitch that is not hers, so is more like they are soloist which happen to be in a group
I feel Mamamoo and blackpink love stay together they have so many chances ti separate but they are stay together because they feel comfortable as a group
