Amazing to see how far the collection has come Kev! I remember when those walls were nearly bare. Mine is slowly growing, with the newest edition being a Tamiya Blitzer Beetle. Absolutely love it. Would you ever consider showing some more Tamiya products on the channel? I suppose they wouldn't be so great for bashing but they are so full of character.
I just got the new bronco to add to my collection
This Christmas I added a Team Associated DR10 to my collection and I absolutely love it! I've already added a sound system to it and now it sounds like a proper drag car. Kev is the reason my RC collection has expanded from 0 to 7 different RC cars. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing 😅

Kev! If you convert an scx24 to rear steer, switch to aftermarket servos. The stock servo saver on the stock servo gets very sloppy and makes the thing not track straight. An aftermarket servo with a normal horn will fix that.

Awesome collection Kev. Lots of different cars.
My own collection is something like 30 or so cars. A big section of which is Tamiya buggies. I derived a lot of pleasure in buying cheap junkers and getting them running again. There are 4 Traxxas and one Arrma and a grab bag of other brands.
My starting point was a Tamiya Hornet. Fantastic and dreadful at the same time.
Great video! I’d really like to see the rustler run again! Gpm makes front driveshafts for it and it is my personal favourite car for lower budget. I also upgraded the shocks to gtr shocks :)

In awe of your collection! I have 4 rc cars, 2 gold chassis rc 10's, one I let my kids take it apart to build a hovercraft for school and I plan on rebuilding it again. It has a stripped gear in the gearbox and a broken drive cup. The motor is a 14turn quad and a novac speed control. It was fast(for the 90's)bit would only run for 5 minutes on the nicad 7 cell. I also have a slash 4x4 with on board audio, Mip axels and aluminum shocks. Also have a Aarma Notorious Blx with sand paddle tires, ess sound box and an Axial Yeti body that fits perfect on the original body posts, for a more scale look! It was wheeling on the snowy street yesterday. Crazy fast!
Awesome vid! On the losi dbxle u need 18t. That is the max on stock motor mount. Bet gets alot more fun! And would also change to max 5. Gives the extra fun factor👍🤩
Just a big heart felt thank you for all the money you spend entertaining us all. I get that you get a lot of stuff for free or dirt cheap for review and its also for your entertainment, but I appreciate every bit of what you do! I hope you get as much enjoyment out of doing it as I do watching it.

10:32 put wheelie bars on the back, I have the same rc and putting wheelie bars on the back helped me a lot and made it more controllable

Kev, I might have a way for you to "fix" your Team-C T8T-E (the white truggy that had the bad wheel bearings), try moving the rear shocks two or three spaces to the outside on the bottom, as in the holes in the A-arm where the shock attaches. If that doesn't decrease the rear travel enough, try some droop screws in the rear arms to limit the travel. Oh, and doing one or both of these mods will almost certainly stop ruining the rear diff drive cups, a win win!
Edit: Oh, and please do more of these collection tour videos soon, I really like hearing and seeing the cars close up, and the details (I like my specs and stuff, "tech-no babble" if you will!)

the biggest pinion you can fit on the losi dbxl e 2.o is 18t. and fill the center diff with ear plugs. temps are good with that setup if you want anything bigger you have to change the motor mount

Hello Kevin, I was wondering with all the bent chassis from your epic jumps and bashing, have you ever tried putting two chassis plates together and using longer screws and bolts to hold them together if the default ones are too short? Can you make a video of it please? Thanks,
RPM makes a wide front arm set for the rustler 2wd so you can use equal offset wheels front and rear. Adds like 20mm overall track width

I just recently got the rovan Baja I got the 30.5 cc one and omg it’s a blast it’s soooo loud and I love it
If you haven't done it already,make sure you fit the front end chassis strengthening plate,Rcmodelz sell them for about £15,The front of the chassis are so easy to bend without one,other than that the Rovan 305a are built like a truck😁

Hey kev so I upgraded my traxxas trx4 2021 Ford bronco with aluminum axles treal aluminum wheel rims and a castle creations copperhead 10 and the new traxxas winch I got a build for sure but yeah that’s what I suggest for motor wise and esc and I suggest getting silicon conformal coating for waterproofing electronics
