This man has saved my sanity every year for the last 10 years. I want to track him down and give him a reward. Incredible that after a decade of use, the tent is still as good as new 👍🏻

The only video in the whole internet who clearly shows how to fold the Quechua 2''+ tent. Thanks!

I bought my tent in France many years ago & haven't used it for at least 10yrs. On a whim a few days ago decided to put it up - it is still perfect - a smashing tent. But getting it down was another matter........ I watched several other videos which were no help at all - then watched this one. Brilliant - I had the tent down almost as quickly as I put it up. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for this video! I live in China and got the same tent in Decathlon here. It went straight in the bag easily, took less than a minute! All about the left arm to the chest move!

Thank you! My husband bought this tent from a friend who was moving away and it has never been used until a friend visited with her cat and they camped in our backyard. A dream to put up, but not to take down until I saw this video! Thanks so much!

I lost the bag that had the instructions printed on it, as well as some of my hand-written notes. The only difference is that I had blue tabs rather than yellow on my 2010 Quechua 2 man XL. So easy when you know how, but next to impossible without instructions or a video like this. Thanks again.

Dude, thanks! It took me 1:40 minets. I watched 3 other videos and could get it to fit the bag. Watched your video twice, and the got it right. 5 minets after watching your video for the first time and it was right. 1:35 hour before that. Thank you sure

This is by far the best straight-to-the-point explanation. Would be great if you do a new one in a bit higher definition. Some of uss still use the older tents like this onee (I have exact the same model and color) :-)

In 2020 - I just bought another one of these after battling with another tent style recently, and reminiscing about how easy these were. I had the original version shown in this video years ago -but I moved countries and couldn't bring it with me. Unfortunately the new ones have been changed - It immediately seemed smaller inside, but I figured was just my memory playing tricks. But when trying to put it down as per this video, I discovered the rear end of the tent is smaller than the front end - meaning when you do the first step and pull the tops of the tent together, the hoops are different sizes and won't easily fold down together as in this video. Instead the new procedure has you pulling the tent inside out (yes literally from the inside and out the door) and mucking around with multiple clips and straps everywhere. Probably supposed to be easier for wombles who couldn't use youtube or something but it's slower and annoying. Still - I bet I'll appreciate the overall ease and time saved when I do come to use it properly. Maybe go for a mid-week camp this week!

Mine has clips, Inside the tent are two red/orange clips in
a v that you pull out of the tent on your way out and this folds it halfway.
Clip them then switch and clip the yellow clips. Pulling the red cord
then folds it into a figure eight where you then fold the halves
    together.

Same here man! I watched so many videos and they all used the same technique, but my tent always ended up to be 1.5 times the diameter of the bag... This one folds it up into a thicker circle and that's why it works! I guess the tents in the other vids are smaller than the one I have which is why they do fit. I was so happy when I finally did it after 2 hours of trying (after this video I succeeded first try!)

Should have left & right numbers in 2 colours to show where to hold it. Like L1 to R1 etc with same number matching colours always touching so you know when to twist etc.
Also it could stay in the half way position for most people as its flatness still makes it dead easy to throw in a car or store.

I really miss my first gen one I just lost it somewhere... the second generation is broken now after some frustration of trying to fold it in lol

I had this one too 10-15 years ago. I had to give it up when I moved back overseas after some time in the UK. I bought and used a regular style tent last week and hated it - want to buy another pop-up one instead but the folding videos seem more convoluted now, with having to fold half of one side first, or pulling strings from the inside. These older ones were so simple once you learnt how.

IN NOT SEVERE CONDITIONS, IT IS NOT MADE FOR HIGH MOUNTAINEEREING, THE SNOW COULD ACCUMULATE OVER THE TOP CRUSHING IT---Y4ES SNOW, BUT NO HEAVY FALLING--AND MAX 2000 MT ALTITUDE, COULD BE COVERED WITH AN HEAVY ANGLED TARP OVER IT, FIRMLY FIXED, WITH HARD POLES TO LET FALLING SNOW TO SLID AWAY FROM ROOF, HEAVY POLES VERY STRONGLY FIXED---WIND RESISTANT--I WOULD SAY 50 MPS WINDS---RECREATIONAL WINTER CAMPING YES, IT HAS NOT A VESTIBULE SO A BIT OF PROBLEM--A 3 PERSON COULD BE USED BY 2 TO STORE THINGS INSIDE, THE LACK OF VESTIBUòLE IS EVIDENT
