@@spookyvegan1402 And now they're putting out new music for the first time in over a decade and will tour behind it. One of the greatest bands of their or any other era...
The Electric Ballroom, Camden, London. I was in the audience for this gig, a friend and myself are part of the ensemble of vocalists! We even bumped into Dug before the gig in a Chinese restaurant not far from the venue, he was polite, generous and gracious. This whole night is one of my favourite gigging memories.
To have an entire audience singing your songs at full volume, and actually all know the lyrics, is a testimony to many, many years of devotion to one of the greatest bands ever.
Ah, so this was in the UK. I thought so - I recognised the accents being a Brit myself! I was lucky enough to see them on Long Island, NY, in the 90s when I was living in America for awhile. They were great but, for some bizarre reason, I kept getting stabbing pains in my ears when they played, which was a bit of a downer but still, they were great!
This reeks of coolness. For a band to have an audience sing their song like this. This has to be the moment of a lifetime. God bless them and all. SO cool.

yep but unfortunately they got lumped in with the hair bands in the 90s when someone decided that type of music wasnt cool anymore. about theonly thing they had in common was they played guitars and had long hair. well ecept Doug lol
This is probably the single greatest moment in a musicians life…to hear the crowd sing your song for you. And what a song it is….it’s a freaking crime these guys are not the biggest band on the planet….KINGS X FOR LIFE !!!!
@@dw89music73 I think their music was commercial enough. They had an image problem. Boys didn't see their videos and think they were cool or tough. And then when Grunge happened, and they looked like they were trying too hard to look the part. Their albums between 88 and 96 were all fantastic though.
I love this version. What stumps me totally, and makes me totally flabbergasted is that the audience is actually - when the chorus comes - sings in harmonies. Not all, but you can detect them underneath, and they keep the harmony. This is a first for me, with any rock audience singing. The verses are straight melodies though.
