According to rick Beth was actually kind of a psychopath as a kid, asking rick to make her a bunch of dangerous items and things of that nature so Rick and Beth were both fucked in the head, it's just that Beth became better as time went on.
It's funny how beth got better but still bad but Rick got worse when he lost his family and just had major depression and psychopathic tendencies but I will say beth is still sort of a bad mom for that moment where she chose Morty to die too quickly.
@@Red-mx9tx I mean summer was her first born and technically much more smarter than Morty so could you blame her? I think that the reason why she wanted to keep summer alive instead of Morty because she see his father in him. So he’ll probably going to end up being dead weight to the family anyways.
Was going to say Peter is definitely the worst father but beth didn't turn out alright shes a controlling narcissistic psychopath 😂 the point of the show is that the whole family are terrible people, summer is probably the closest to normal but the rest are psychos.
Makes me remember seeing a cartoon dad rating chart that had Hank Hill and Richard Waterson at the same level as Peter. It's hard to be worse than Peter, and clearly someone didn't understand that Hank is a great dad and even Richard is just incompetent.
Honestly, I think the reason Richard is the way he is with his kids is because his own father wasn't in the picture that much, and Nicole's parents didn't really like him, so he didn't really have any examples of what a father should've been. That being said, I still think, despite everything, he's still trying to be a good parent.
Richard did get a job bevause he wanted to help provide, and for his family to be proud of him, so the effort is clearly there. A shame that it didnt work out, but he did at least get the acknowledgement that he is loved for trying his best. Ironically, they also pulled the status quo gag with him too, about how the universe wont let him have a job, because it would break the convention of things.
It’s even sadder for Meg since in the show Brian says “Stan Thompson” is meg’s real father. So her real father doesn’t know about her, and her “dad” treats her like a living punchline.
The thing that I always thought about Regan and Rand was that they were what would have happened if Rick stayed with Beth. Regan hates her dad, but being emotionally manipulated and abused by him for so long, she can't live without him. She very much admires and looks up to her father in so many ways, and they are very similar people. But being with him for so long, the narcissism and toxicity gets to Regan. The reason Beth wants Rick around so much is because he left her when she was young. She looks at her childhood through rose-tinted glasses and it's not until she starts living with him again that she finally sees the horrible person he is and grows enough to not take his shit.
Focusing on how they parented, Rick and Rand are truly opposites. Rick was more hands off and unattached, while Rand was invasive and controlling. At least in the end both could recognize their shortcomings and try to make some semblance of amends.
and do actually care for their daughters hell rick was in beths life and made anything she asked him to she was a fucked up kid and he defiently sholdnt have made those items but the fact that he took time to make shit that she wanted says alot
The problem with saying Rick's a bad father is that the main Rick's Beth died when she was a kid and he's been searching for the killer ever since, the Beth we see now wasn't raised by him
Rick C-137 being a good father in relation to other Ricks is literally his defining characteristic. Beth already got a good father, Rick Prime abandoned her and the good one came in.
The problem with Meg too is that based on the rules of the world of Family Guy even without Peter she'd still be a psychopathic weirdo to some copacity.
I agree that Meg absolutely takes the cake, but I wouldn't even remotely say Rand is alright. Dude edited his daughter's memories so she wouldn't have friends because that would be a distraction. Be fr 😭
Not so Fun Fact: The reason Meg is abused all the time is because the writers didn't actually know how to write a teenage girl when the show first started. So they just made her everybody's punching bag because they didn't know what else to do with her.
You're absolutely right Meg does not deserve to be treated like a piece of shit. She is a smart independent woman who deserves a loving family who loves her for who she is & she deserves a father who respects her & loves her. I mean honestly every time I see the family disrespecting Meg & treating her badly I want to punch them in their faces
@@dr_pebbles_frinkleboing That has nothing to do with the topic you are just averting the topic. Cause you don't want to admit that Family Guy has a horrible, horrible message that it is okay to be abused to keep the family together.
Raegan and Beth are two functional adults both of whom have grown beyond their terrible parents. Meg is still in high school and is forced to live with abuse not just from her friends and family, not just from strangers, but for some reason reality itself will bend around her in order to make her miserable. Meg deserves a better everything she may be no saint but her life was miserable before she was sent to prison.
One of the sad things about Meg is because her family and everyone else are constantly bullying and making her feel unwanted she automatically gains a crush on any guy that is nice to her she had crushes on Brian, Quagmire, and Joe.
Meg would be just casually chillin and peter will straight up just kick her in the face for no logical reason, and I'm sure it's happened at some point lol
Meg doesn't just deserve a better father, she deserves better parents. Both Peter and Lois are terrible parents. They constantly torment her and belittle her. The one time they show actual concern for Meg is when someone takes interest in her. It's no wonder her self-esteem is so low.
I agree with everything you said, except for Beth being a good mother. No good parent would pick one of their children to live and abandon the other as quickly as she did to poor Morty.
Does anyone remember that episode of Family Guy where Meg finally stood up her family and told every single one of them off? Remember how that ended? It ended with Brian telling her that she needed to be the punching bag to keep her family intact. And she agreed. Yeah, Meg doesn't just have the worst father. Her entire family is awful. period
One of the worst "jokes" family guy ever did was just a cutaway to Meg with headphones in, crying herself to sleep. It reminded me of a friend from middle school who committed suicide by drinking bleach, Amanda Todd. i havent watched family guy since that one scene. Just too real, man
We NEED Meg to have her own spin off. The beginning would show her leaving the family, her bags packed, and changing her last name, and maybe her first name too, and then proceeds to thrive because her shitty abusive family isn't there to hold her back. I LOVE Meg sm.
Rick knows how much of threat Beth is, he made a whole world just for her. Literally acknowledged himself as a bad father. I wouldn’t say the first early seasons Meg was treated as a equal. Peter bought her lip injections with his fraud money 😂 and taught her how to drive and took rap for him when crashed into the dish
Meg literally confronted them about their treatment of her and it collapsed the family to the point she realized she had to be the punching bag for them to take their anger out on till other wise the whole family would end up
Remember when peter’s clone got found out, and Lois was getting everyone out of the house, she told meg to take out the trash in the morning and left her there with the clone
The griffins literally only stick up for Meg because it’s a “no one is allowed to abuse you except us” situation-so there’s nothing satisfying about seeing them beat up Meg’s bullies. Stewie was actually the only one to care about Meg at the beginning and middle of the show and even the writers just gave up on that
I still remember the episode that meg blew up on her family. And the one she abused the shit out of peter when she got out of prison. Those two will always be my favorite
Definitely Meg, shit she goes through is something no human should, she got all the talent, but no ecouragment nor will, as seen when she got chance to be a "housewife" instead of Lois.
Rick at least has the excuse of that isn't really his daughter and he just in general struggles with emotional attachments. Rand just wanted what he thought was best, even if it was terribly wrong and definitely NOT what was best. At least at one point the both of them TRIED to help their daughters (rick created a bunch of toys that she asked for, even a whole Narnia, and a clone so she can live her life and be a mother, and Rand did everything he could to ensure Reagan could get herself a job working for the secret government) but Peter has done nothing of the sort. The best he does is not be mean to her, which isn't much
Exact scenario in my head for this crossover (warning long): Peter to Rick and Rand: Hey guys check this out. *Walks up to Meg and farts in her face as she struggles to breathe* Rick and Rand: *Cross their arms and glare at Peter* Peter: *Pushes Meg into a mud puddle and laughs before turning to Rick and Rand and seeing them glaring at him* What? Rick: What? What the *beep* was that? Rand: Was that supposed to be funny? Peter: Oh come on, it's just a goof. Rick: A goof? Rand: That's your daughter! Your legacy! Peter: I don't judge you guys for your parenting, so don't judge me. Rick: Oh no, terrible father all the way, but that just seemed like a moment in a cr*burp*appy tv show where the writers claim to not know how teenage girls act, but it's clear the creator*burp* just has woman issues! Rand: Sure, maybe I deprived Regen of "paternal love" but I made Bearo to make up for it. Hell, I messed with the space-time continuum just to get her and my ex-wife back! Rick: I literally discovered dimensional travel just to kill the other me for killing my wife and daughter. Peter: Come on guys, Meg doesn't- Rand: Speak of wives, it's clear you're a terrible husband! Rick: Even if Ricks only look out for themselves, at least I'm not trying to kill my wife every ten seconds via *burp*every dumb idea I get, which is pretty rare for me to get a dumb idea. Rand: You cheat on your wife every chance you get! I couldn't stand the fact Tamiko was dating *beep* Keanu Reeves! And we've been divorced for years! Rick: *Opens portal* Let's get out of here Rand. I can feel my show's ratings drop every second I'm here. Rick and Rand: *Leave the Family Guy universe* Peter: Well, that happened. I'm not sure how else to do this, so here is a random racist cutaway gag.
I see you comment this in every video. Not to be rude, but the end results speak for itself. But if your that eager, just donate to him, it’s awful cheap.
If you think about it Rick lost his real daughter and now he’s stuck with 2 clones of his daughter and plus when Beth was little Rick made everything she dreamed of he even made a world for her where she can’t get hurt it really makes u think what Rick is able to do with his tech

Meg deserves a better family in general, something that infuriated me was when she finally called them out she felt guilty for how quickly they all turned on each other and accepted her role as the family scapegoat
Meg has been nonchalantly "Killed" by Peter multiple times without so much as an "I'm sorry"
They literally all deserve better fathers lol
The problem with saying Rick's a bad father is that the main Rick's Beth died when she was a kid and he's been searching for the killer ever since, the Beth we see now wasn't raised by him
Rick is willing to acknowledge and admit that he’s a bad father that’s the difference between them
Rick C-137 being a good father in relation to other Ricks is literally his defining characteristic. Beth already got a good father, Rick Prime abandoned her and the good one came in.
The problem with Meg too is that based on the rules of the world of Family Guy even without Peter she'd still be a psychopathic weirdo to some copacity.
i mean yeah but so would chris probley even more so with him.
I agree that Meg absolutely takes the cake, but I wouldn't even remotely say Rand is alright. Dude edited his daughter's memories so she wouldn't have friends because that would be a distraction. Be fr 😭
Always remember that Peter didn’t love Meg enough to give her an actual name.
It's not even our Rick's fault. And yet, she still blames him.
Not so Fun Fact: The reason Meg is abused all the time is because the writers didn't actually know how to write a teenage girl when the show first started. So they just made her everybody's punching bag because they didn't know what else to do with her.
She really wasn't the punching bag in the first couple of seasons and in the more recent seasons Brain has taken that role more so.
thats honestly super weird cuz the early seasons she was used pretty well as the awkward teenager
I thought it was because her original voice actress left and it was a pretty bad falling out?
@@MetaGiga i mean she did cameo in a newer episode so idk about that
@scrappy2082 Yeah, that was only what I had heard originally about it
If your dad names you MEGATRON, then you know you need a better dad
You're absolutely right Meg does not deserve to be treated like a piece of shit. She is a smart independent woman who deserves a loving family who loves her for who she is & she deserves a father who respects her & loves her. I mean honestly every time I see the family disrespecting Meg & treating her badly I want to punch them in their faces
so your saying it was right for her to be hidi g a criminal in her closet just so she can date him
not only that she been one
What no!
@@dr_pebbles_frinkleboing That has nothing to do with the topic you are just averting the topic. Cause you don't want to admit that Family Guy has a horrible, horrible message that it is okay to be abused to keep the family together.
@@ktg3811 bro what is you on about
Meg hands down definitely deserve a better father she deserves a better life
"When it comes to having a bad dad, Meg from family guy SOLOS!"
-tylercordslol if he made this video
There's worst, Peter in the earlier seasons wasn't that bad of a dad and in more recent seasons have started to revert back to that.
😂
“But we are gonna be cool in private” Peter still hates Meg in private 💀
Bro Meg deserves a better family!!!
Did I just hear you call Beth an "Ok mom"?
Duuuuude, she didn't even hesitate to get rid of Morty.
Worst part is Morty has quite the IQ potential like bro😭
It's not just Peter who treats her that way, but Peter is surely the one who treats her the worst
Remember the episode when they thought meg died and the only people that cared a lot was fast food workers
Meg: blinks
*out of nowhere Peter shots Meg*
Peter: shut up Meg
One of the sad things about Meg is because her family and everyone else are constantly bullying and making her feel unwanted she automatically gains a crush on any guy that is nice to her she had crushes on Brian, Quagmire, and Joe.
Meg would be just casually chillin and peter will straight up just kick her in the face for no logical reason, and I'm sure it's happened at some point lol
That why I was so happy when I saw that prison meg episode!
That sh*t made me so happy!!😂❤
Bro even Stewie stepped up and told Peter and Lois to give her a chance when she cooked dinner
When Peter actually shows care for meg its pretty rare but it happens it actually is pretty emotional at times.
Her entire family is awful. period
Same thing with Klaus in American Dad, man, I find it exhausting.
Not to be that person, but I thought it was more Meg came up with the “solution” and Brian agreed?
Pretty sure even Meg’s voice actor wants her to become a better character
As soon as I saw the three choices I said "Meg." Nobody deserves to be the punching bag of their family
Let's not forget Peter sold Meg like she was property
The best he does is not be mean to her, which isn't much
He’s not on here but I’ve always been wishing that Butters could have a better father someday, or even just a better family in general
Dude Meg needs a better family lmao
True... Like, the very moment I saw the line up, I instantly already knew. This wasn't even a competition.
Rick is just as controlling as Rand, his focus is just more on Morty and the Rick that killed his family than Beth.
Meg definitely deserves a real loving family
Rick wasn't actually that bad of a father
And Rick C-137's Beth died young.
@Patrick Dixon but that was a different rick
@@hazzabrooksy4089 She still blames Rick C-137.
Rick was a great father!
...
For, like, those 5 years his daughter was alive
He made an entire child proofed wonderland where you can breathe underwater and shit. I had to have a riot shield ready just to ask for two bucks
Stewie loves meg I remember that funny episode where he hits Peter like a little kid and say “Don’t mess with my sis!” 😂😂😂
Exact scenario in my head for this crossover (warning long):
Peter to Rick and Rand: Hey guys check this out. *Walks up to Meg and farts in her face as she struggles to breathe*
Rick and Rand: *Cross their arms and glare at Peter*
Peter: *Pushes Meg into a mud puddle and laughs before turning to Rick and Rand and seeing them glaring at him* What?
Peter: Come on guys, Meg doesn't-
Rand: Speak of wives, it's clear you're a terrible husband!
Rick and Rand: *Leave the Family Guy universe*
Peter: Well, that happened. I'm not sure how else to do this, so here is a random racist cutaway gag.
this was perfect
Perfect
Meg doesn’t just deserve a better father, she deserves a better family, heck even a better freaking universe
Will you do a video about Makima (Chainsaw Man) vs Iron Man (Marvel), if given a chance please? 🙏
That's just the definition of one sided
This is a good idea
I see you comment this in every video. Not to be rude, but the end results speak for itself. But if your that eager, just donate to him, it’s awful cheap.
All of them deserve better, especially Meg.
If you think about it Rick lost his real daughter and now he’s stuck with 2 clones of his daughter and plus when Beth was little Rick made everything she dreamed of he even made a world for her where she can’t get hurt it really makes u think what Rick is able to do with his tech
Am i the only one the actually feels bad for meg every time she gets disrespected by her family?
I mean to be fair, it was shown that Beth was a psychopath as a child with the things she wanted Rick to make for her
Even worst for Meg is that at one point peter cared for Meg and even protected her from Connie in one episode and then that was it that was only time peter cared for Meg
Poor Meg. She deserves a better family than what she has.
I still remember the episode where Meg called everyone out but they still made her apologize at the end of the episode. The entire time I was just like " YEA MEG GET THEM HOES"
Meg deserves a better Dad and a better family
Yeah the episode where Meg finally puts everyone in their place was one of the most cathartic and depressing episodes. She deserves better
Meg gets disrespected and abused every episode, that’s in addition to the fact that Peter named Meg “Megatron” to begin with.
Meg deserves to be in a better show
