So nice to see a popular UA-camr mention drugstore and affordable products in their favorites. I'm sick of some gurus who rave about the $2,000 worth of makeup they have been loving "this month" and then next month they are loving a different set of products, also worth a fortune. I always wonder how they have time to wear that much makeup if they are reaching for all these products "constantly" as they claim.

It can be really disappointing. I think when your income increases your lifestyle habits do too. Some gurus just simply forget that their annual income falls in that top 1/10 percent of wealth and their beauty expenses don't relate to the masses. Kathleen keeps it fairly relatable, though. And she's honest.

I don't think anyone should be upset with the color selection of the highlights. Not only are they beautiful but you took in mind all skin tones. I think you did every one a favor .
I LOVE that Kathleen kept most skin tones in mind, which is generally all one can do when making a palette like this and it is a beautiful palette. But I wouldn't say she made a palette for ALL skin tones. Very fair skin tones likely can't use the palette. I'm too pale for a lot of highlighters, for example Champagne Pop looked crazy on me when I swatched it at the store. I bought her palette because I wanted to support Kathleen! But I can't use it so I'll be giving it to a friend with a medium skin tone.
you have to try the tarte airbrush blushes!! theyre a cream formula and theyre gorgeous especially on our dry ass skin!! lol I have the shade shimmering poppy its PERFECTION

I looked for the Frosted eye glaze when I saw it in your tutorial, and they're not available in England.... which is kid of ironic considering it is Butter LONDON. I think the Pur eye glazes could be a good alternative if other UK watchers are interested in them!

I feel it would be, I was watching another yt'er recently and she said she found simply using a face powder that was a few shades darker than your skin tone looked more natural, so I tried it, and she was right!! Loreal true match have a massive range of face powder colours and you can pick according to your undertone, so say you're like c1 in foundation, look to c3 and above for a bronzer shade, almost everything pulls orange on me and this has worked really well, worth a try if you can pick up the powders on sale sometime.
I am also Nars Siberia. I wear the YSL Couture Contour shade 1 or Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in Wheat for contour :) Or my latest favorite is Dim Light by Hourglass. I know its a setting powder for most skin tones, but on me its slightly pinky bronzy and super pretty!

Clinique Stay-matte Oil-free foundation, it's sweat proof as well. I have worn it a few times and I love it! Clinique also came out with another foundation, a silk one that I want to try.

Really? I have 2 of them and I absolutely hate them. I love the smell, but they crumble off my lips within minutes that I put it on. I tried giving one of them a chance again the other day and a big part of my bottom lip had crumbled off after 10 minutes that I put it on. I just can't wear those, they don't last at all.
My fave products this month have been the Revlon ColorStay Foundation for dry/normal skin, the elf contour palette, and wet & wilds bronzer in ticket to Brazil. ❤️

I am not all that tan right now and I use the darkest highlight color from your palette everyday! I get a bronzer brush tap it in some bronzer then the highlight and it makes my bronzer look so pretty and glowly I'm obsessed with the whole palette 😍
Maybe because bacteria can get in/on there more compared to a liquid foundation with a pump and so a stick foundation would go bad faster if you don't use it up? I am not sure though..
I'm loving the elf brow treat and tame. I use treat on my lashes to help them grow longer and tame for my brows (obviously) and it helps keep them in place while making them look a bit fuller.

Seriously white people/ people with light skin? You can go to any makeup line and find 10 highlighters that work with your skin, it's harder for women of color and honestly you should be giving Kathleen props for trying to fit every skin tone. I just got LA colors gel nail polish is bedazzled. Seriously, perfect fall color. I've had it on for 2 days, no chipping at all! Didn't use a base coat or top coat! Best $1 nail polish I've tried yet!

One of my August favorites are the Gen Nude collection lip glosses from Bare minerals. So good! They last a good while and they actually give good colors to the lips, no liner needed.

Wet n Wild's contouring palette is amazing! I also have the shade Dulce de Leche, and it's neither too warm nor too cool.
You should test out the new Anastasia stick foundation!!!!! I know its for oily skin, but I want to see if you can use it on dry skin too :)

Clinique Stay-matte Oil-free foundation, it's sweat proof as well. I have worn it a few times and I love it! Clinique also came out with another foundation, a silk one that I want to try.
My favourite product of the month have been the Milani Amore Liquid Lipsticks❤️😍 I don't know why I haven't tried them before but they're amazing and very inexpensive 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Really? I have 2 of them and I absolutely hate them. I love the smell, but they crumble off my lips within minutes that I put it on. I tried giving one of them a chance again the other day and a big part of my bottom lip had crumbled off after 10 minutes that I put it on. I just can't wear those, they don't last at all.

I am not all that tan right now and I use the darkest highlight color from your palette everyday! I get a bronzer brush tap it in some bronzer then the highlight and it makes my bronzer look so pretty and glowly I'm obsessed with the whole palette 😍
Why do stick foundations have less product
Probably because they are solidified
because it's more compact. similar like how powder/compact foundation always have much less product compared to liquid ones.
They last way longer too
Maybe because bacteria can get in/on there more compared to a liquid foundation with a pump and so a stick foundation would go bad faster if you don't use it up?

I'm loving the elf brow treat and tame. I use treat on my lashes to help them grow longer and tame for my brows (obviously) and it helps keep them in place while making them look a bit fuller.

Seriously white people/ people with light skin? You can go to any makeup line and find 10 highlighters that work with your skin, it's harder for women of color and honestly you should be giving Kathleen props for trying to fit every skin tone. Also kinda funny/sad that lighter/medium people can actually wear 2 shades in the pallete and there's only one for darker tones are YOU'RE complaining??? Wow Sorry guys people are different colors and not everything has to cater to you even though you still get 2 out of 3 shades. Like are you that greedy? I've seen a bunch of Black you tubers excited and thanking her for including a shade for dark tones and I've never heard even one of them be salty because they couldn't use the other two shades. So happy you mentioned the color fx sunkissed, I just finally got one form Sephora since back in stock and got two shades, sunkissed and one of the highlighter shades, and I love both, such a great product, seems like sunkissed is perfect to be added to foundation when am tanner and I won't have to purchase a darker foundation, so awesome

I just got LA colors gel nail polish is bedazzled. Seriously, perfect fall color. I've had it on for 2 days, no chipping at all! Didn't use a base coat or top coat! Best $1 nail polish I've tried yet!

One of my August favorites are the Gen Nude collection lip glosses from Bare minerals. So good! They last a good while and they actually give good colors to the lips, no liner needed.
