There's just something about a outdoor breakfast after camping and slamming beers all night. I love being one of the first up and getting the breakfast going for everyone and just listening to nature as I have one lit up. Great video now I want breakfast at 8pm lol
I've been binge watching this channel for 2 weeks now and I'm so freaking impressed at what all this gentleman cooks over and by the fire. Everything looks amazing and scrumptious. And all the ways he starts fires is cool.
A stellar looking camp and nice work on the hash browns too, something I need to cook at my camp in the near future. Appreciate you sharing your time out my man ~Peace~
Good morning from Colorado Andy. You probably won't see this, since it's a relatively older video. But, just in case---this put a big ole smile on my face. I fix that exact same breakfast pretty regularly. I'm not sure which is better, the smell or the taste. Anyway, wanted to say hi, and hopefully we'll be seeing more from you before long. Be safe. Happy trails. Roger
If I can recommed you, the potato you can make as a pancake, do not take the juice out, just peel it, mix with little flour and add one egg (salt and pepper). It will stay together and taste great. :) Nice videos mate, taking me to nature
I rarely comment on UA-cam videos, but I have to tell you, I subscribed after watching the first 30 seconds of this video. I look forward to watching all of your vids. The editing is spot on for my taste. Great job, man!
We don't have in our grocery stores those shredded potatoes for hash browns. Then I see you grating them and I was like, why didn't I think of that. Great video man. Thanks!
Kent Survival. You presented such an inspirational and peaceful camping video. The breakfast prepared in the Skillet looks Awesome. 😋 Can't wait to use my 12 and inch Lodge Skillets this Summer.
Just finished eating breakfast (1:53am) Sunny side up eggs, sausage, toast and about 9 tator tots. I literally could not wait until morning to eat because your breakfast looks so homemade and delicious. Now Im in bed with my ac on and I can sleep comfortably 😌
I'm very late to the party, I know, but just wanted to say that "that breakfast looks great" ...next time i camp out, I need to try this...thanks for the video!
I do about the same but with a twist. Take a # 10 cast iron skillet , add some bacon that has been cut into 1/2 to 3/4 inch pieces Just lay the strip of bacon out and cut it every 1/2 or 3/4 inch. Cook the pieces so you have some grease. Now add hamburger ( lean ) and cook it with the Bacon pieces. When the hamburger is done add the number of eggs you want and scramble them in the Hamburger and bacon chunks. When they are done plate them and season to your liking. Rule of thumb...About 1/3 to 1/2 pound of hamburger per person , eggs and bacon per person is the cooks choice. If you want to remove some of the bacon grease after it's cooked , again it's the cooks choice.
Hi, thank you :) I love cooking (and eating) haha so do quite a lot of food based videos.. some with a bit more primitive cooking techniques than this :p
Another awesome breakfast you have prepared. Not many fellows have a grater in camp to make fresh hash browns. Well done brother. What a fabulous tree to build your shelter you have. Beautiful site for a shelter. That wall will go up quickly. Stay safe and will see you in the next one. Be safe
LoL!! Yep. There's a place I try to spend a lot of time, until it start's getting hot, the rattle snakes come out, then I head to the mountains. My favorite place's there are now having unusually high black bear activity. Oh well. If my last card is played, I'd rather it be by a bear than a snake!! Happy trails. Roger
looks fantastic. makes me want to go outside & do longer walks & eventually get into bushcraft. Next time I'll be taking MRE's too so I can enjoy the outdoors longer. Thank you for the inspiration!!
It's 5.04 am and now you've made me seriously hungry!! Lovely breakfast that is... late breakfast is Brunch :-) till the next one. Cheers, Lee (Burton Outdoors)
Good video -as always. Not too certain on that fungus, doesn't look like the shaggy ink caps I used to collect in Hampshire/Surrey😯. They tended to keep white until they start disintegrating & getting 'inky' on the fringes of the cap. I'd suggest identifying the disintegrating shaggy ink cap, then look for the fresh fungus growing from the same clump.
I just finished eating a huge stew, then I saw this and wondered why I bothered when I have all of those ingredients....may have to go make a second meal now, lol. Subbed.
Nice one Andy! Not your cup of tea being a very non fish guy as you've told me but it reminds me of my teenage days camping on islands in a lake and cooking fish on a black iron pan like that
sounds like good days mate, I really wish I did like fish (cause I'm a pig haha) ill do a catch and cook next time I'm at the beach camp (provided I do catch) and give it another go :/ haha
Kent Survival yeah the catch part is a problem sometimes. Used to be a great way for me to really zone out and relax though. Bit of nice hot sauce or lemon juice to cut through the strongest of the fishy flavours might help take the edge off. Or depending on the fish some light soy sauce, a little oyster sauce and crushed fresh chillies (not hugely bushcraft friendly though)
Love your channel. First one I look for. Absolutely love the combo of Bush craft with cooking. Truly inspiring. Ordered the Mid-Evil cutlery form another episode. Love it!!!
Grate idea with the potatoes ... hehe. I’ve done them chopped up small in the past but they still take ages to cook before you can add in the other stuff. Will get myself a grater for camping now. Suppose it might be possible to slice them very thinly with just a knife maybe.
Hi bro!! Wooow your breakfast is delicius. I like to cook in outdoor too (it is the secret of the recipe). Your shealter look great. Congratulations!!! Regards from México!! 👍🔪🏕🍖🇲🇽
So good to hear you were recognised, seeing a fan of yours must have been such a good feeling!
There's just something about a outdoor breakfast after camping and slamming beers all night. I love being one of the first up and getting the breakfast going for everyone and just listening to nature as I have one lit up. Great video now I want breakfast at 8pm lol
finally someone who uses a lighter for a fire. Instead of giving me the 20 minute tutorial of "how to make fire in the forest"
haha, I do both but yes.. a lighter is the best and easiest and most appropriate for this video. Thanks for watching
I'm the 99th thumbs up.....
i prefer the ones that have some kind of flint instead of button press kind, because if you ran out of the fluid you can still use the spark
I always carry at least 2 lighters and a ferro rod, I've never had to use the ferro rod yet.
This ain't surviving
This is living
If only more people saw it like that!
Relaxing at its finest
This is amazing
like the guy from wall-e, "I don't want to survive, I want to live!"
Truly

This guy is full of skills, love the videos and the country side and the music having not left my flat in 3 years lovely seeing these videos :-):-):-)
This channel really relieves my Corona anxiety.... Thank you very much!
Don't know why but somehow I wanted to see some cooking in the forest, so came here.
Thanks for such a relieving video ;)
After watching this video I made that EXACT dish the following morning! haha
haha good job.. can't beat a cooked breakfast :)
Wow👼🏻
Not even 30 seconds into the video “edible mushroom, I think” oh boy this is gonna be an interesting video hahah
Great looking breakfast 🍳
There's nothing quite like breakfast prepared on an open fire.
couldn't agree more.. thanks for watching :)
Ahh shadap... classic stove is just as good
@@damage6836 It’s not.
Looks so amazing dude..nice done..take care and all the best for you
This guy makes some of the Top 5 most satisfying videos on UA-cam. Cast iron cooking, 🥓 bacon...forgettaboutttiiiit
I learn a lot from watching your cooking video.
I'm going to follow your recipe.
Thank you for showing me good food today.
I love the smell of breakfast cooking on the fire in the morning

The shelter is looking good. The breakfast looked awesome till you put the ketchup on. LOL 2 thumbs up!
haha, yeah, gotta have ketchup if im having a potato based food :P, Thanks buddy
+Kent Survival Barack Obama said that ketchup isn't even acceptable past the age of 7. no truer words have ever been said
@@KentSurvival I've got to agree. Hashbrowns are meant to have ketchup. LOL.
@@TonyMontanaOG split the difference, Heniz 57, its sorta like catsup, but better
I thought that said shitter lol i thought i didnt see a toilot😂😂
Yummy, this is the kind of breakfast I want when I'm outdoor.
Hi Kent Survival, I must say that breakfast turned out spectacular. Keep up the great videos my friend. Look forward to more. -Johanna...
Thanks very much Johanna :) never a chore to cook breakfast in the woods :)
Excellent. The first 'survival expert' who has the sense to use a LIGHTER. What else. (keep at least three in a sealed waterproof bag / container).
I haven't made those potato fritters for yrs. I would add grated carrot, onion herbs etc and sometimes fish or salmon.
I rarely comment on UA-cam videos, but I have to tell you, I subscribed after watching the first 30 seconds of this video. I look forward to watching all of your vids. The editing is spot on for my taste. Great job, man!
Hi Tim, I feel honoured :) Thank you. You're sub and comment are much appreciated, I hope you enjoy the rest of the vids :) ATB - Andy
We don't have in our grocery stores those shredded potatoes for hash browns. Then I see you grating them and I was like, why didn't I think of that. Great video man. Thanks!

I was holding my breath till I saw the ketchup, I like em crispy, no worries. Living the dream, luv it!
I love to prepare food outside and in the original way. Great video, keep it up! Many greetings from Germany, Mati
I have no idea why watching you work on your camps, cook over an open fire, and eat is so soothing to me. Maybe because I don’t have to do it?
I do about the same but with a twist. Take a # 10 cast iron skillet , add some bacon that has been cut into 1/2 to 3/4 inch pieces Just lay the strip of bacon out and cut it every 1/2 or 3/4 inch. Everytime i watch these videos, i get hungry, mate! I'm going to watch after i eat. Much appreciated videos!
Love watching your videos while doing homework
Keep up the good work
Hashbrowns just the way i make them, love them! They love me too, settle on my hips and stays there forever! LOL
Man I love watching these survival videos or at least how to eat when you’re out in the wild.

Could almost smell that delicious breakfast through the screen
Music was awesome so was the cooking.
This is like a breakfast we eat almost everyday as being english from luton . u r the man. Love ur vids bro
If I lived in England I don’t think I would ever come home a bushcraft outing. No bears. No deadly snakes. Never scorching hot.
LoL!! Yep. There's a place I try to spend a lot of time, until it start's getting hot, the rattle snakes come out, then I head to the mountains. Wow Amazing Place & You Make So Delicious Yummy Breakfast Umm Mouth Watering
Hi Andy, I think the fungus at the beginning is a magpie fungus, Coprinopsis picacea. Nice video :)
Yes, I believe you (we) are right (should have written the Latin name in!) Thanks for watching and confirming :) ATB - Andy
nice breakfast
Best breakfast outdoors
I don’t live near woods or plan to camp anytime soon lol but this video is so relaxing!! The breakfast looks good too

Nothing better than a full fry up in the woods.
you said it! might have to try the chicken in a bag in a dutch oven, seemed to work pretty well.
The smell from that breakfast must've been amazing
I don't really like camping in the woods but this the only thing i would love to do lol
