This is a top 10 NES game by far. I absolutely love it. You have to beat it 3 times in a row to have the true ending.

How many shots does a single bullet give you, and the "propeller"/yashichi? Do the red and blue do different things for you?

Also, the skulls usually take away your shot power/speed/range by one each time you get one. By using the special weapons, did you overcome that problem?
