    Please make a video showing how to clean materials and how you take care of them... Bodyboard, fins, wetsuit, stringers...

    How do you lock the bag or do you leave it unlocked when checking in baggage?

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  2 роки тому +1

      After travelling to the US and getting my bag lock cut by customs, I just use cable ties now to secure them.

    Know it’s an old vid…but just out of curiosity, how many boards do you generally / usually travel with?
    And if it’s only 2 or so is or because you can get Sniper boards at location?

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  2 роки тому

      I just got back from Hawaii and I traveled with 2 boards there. I use custom boards so it isnt as easy to grab a board off the shelf but if needed, it can happen. But generally two is enough for shorter trips.

    Why do you pack the top board with the slick facing the top??

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  6 років тому +2

      I do that because the slick is stronger than the deck. the top would be more prone to denting than the bottom. Thats why I do it that way!

    Love stuff like this! Do you use a specific fin string, or just shoe laces?

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  6 років тому +1

      I use the fin strings from 662mob.com. Their range is pretty broad and many different ones to choose from. Works best with the special knot! 😉

    • @xderiwx
      @xderiwx 6 років тому

      Iain Campbell Awesome, thank you!

    • @xderiwx
      @xderiwx 6 років тому

      Iain Campbell Hey Iain, one more quick question if you don’t mind! What makes you choose strings over something like the deluxe fin tether/heel pads?

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  6 років тому +1

      I use the laces as I wear really tight fins. Because the fins are tight it seems that wearing shoelaces doesn’t make them tighter and start to hurt my feet. When I try the heel pads they tend to start to hurt me real bad. Just personal preference I guess.

    • @xderiwx
      @xderiwx 6 років тому

      Iain Campbell Ahh that makes a lot of sense! I see a lot more people nowadays using the deluxe/pads. I guess they must have fin sizes that are slightly oversized in order to compensate for the added padding and decreased foot pocket size.
      Do you wear really tight fins out of preference, or are you just in between sizes? And when you say really tight, are you talking tight enough that you technically wouldn’t even need the strings most of the time?
      Thanks!

    This question is about sliding out when DK - I am a natural when DK and it only happens when going right. What can I do to stop this from happening?? I should mention it only happens when the waves are bigger. Chur bro!

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  6 років тому +1

      Howzit Stephen. It’s all about digging you back foot and putting more pressure on the inside rail. This will allow the rail to dig and gain more board into the turn. Will help a lot on all waves.

      Iain Campbell Great!! Will definitely try this next time I'm in the water. Chur bro! 😀.
