Those positioned blades like that of valkyries would also fuck up huges tires and eventually disable him so much that his center would come down to the same ground level as valkyries blade.... I've always wanted to see this! even carbide couldn't do it, i wonder if they used different wheel setup or why did the wheels break so easily, carbide and other spinners have taken so many heavy shots at it and it never broke like that before, but it was oddly satisfying, because huge (and others like it) are always so annoyingly durable :))
IIRC this is the only time HUGE used the spoked wheels against a horizontal spinner, their other matches they used the solid 'anti-horizontal' wheels (although Son of Whyachi still managed to cut through those IIRC). Huge's body being at a diagonal relative to the ground puts a lot of stress on the joint where the blade is, so being hit in that state ended badly.
There is no more fun in robotics fighting. The vacuum cleaner design has been adopted by all the teams for obvious reasons. So it is just a competition to see which one is the best vacuum cleaner.

These robot fighting shows got so boring when everybody figured out the design meta was "squat box with big spinning bar/wheel". And unlike a video game you can't nerf real life physics so your choice as a designer is either build a flywheel bot or have fun losing.
I remember seeing this as a kid, made one and had fun at the family gathering, hmmm good times with screams and now and then see a leg or two flying though the air, if I got luck it some times was a head or arm. Of course before when we were a lot so it was fun between the family and some friends that come over, now days not so much, most my family cant run ..well the few that did not bleed out, mostly now days they just sitting around, have a big table that could fit 70 people now just like 6 ..well this year it will be just 5 because last year I brought my new blade car out to show grand ma this cool trick and I had no space on the floor so I put all the ramps and hoops and live chicken and snake on the big table and she wanted to sit to the right and i said better to the left, she complained she had no legs i was like ok fine stubben old lady and well my cool car with blades landed on her face, she ok now, just mostly sleeping in her new bed box but any way I miss those days, these 5 wont run or scream its like they been traumatize or something oh well great finisher

This was terrible sportsmanship from the icewave driver. There was a similar incident with tombstone who could have completedly destroyed bare electronics, but that guy had class. This series was a sham anyway as Duck was robbed by the judges when Biteforece was not properly counted down.
