Nice pedalboard-system, one-of-a-kind player. Interesting stuff.

Cool use of the Ice-setting on the Timeline too.

Hi Petteri, I'm preparing for a bit of an upgrade in my gear and looking at your setup I've just got a few questions:
With the magmic, I like the way you've got it towards the bridge end of the soundhole, in my case the 'normal' position would interfere when I flick the strings and soundhole edge. When you flip the magmic upside down, how hard is it to adjust all the pole pieces to get an even response?? or were you able to get a 'left-handed' one??
With the RC-3, I like the idea but I found in yours (not so much) and especially Jon Gomms rig rundown, the octave down bass note has a fairly thin tone, when compared with what we'd expect from a bass guitar. I'm thinking of adding some sort of basic EQ or tone pedal to roll-off the high frequencies and fatten up the tone of that bass note. Have you done any experiments on this? Or is it not really something you consider important?
On the Timeline, (I've got one too, aren't they amazing!?!?!?!) have you considered sending your RC-3 wet out there to record bass loops then play over the top? If it's something you have considered, why did you opt against it?
Finally, it seems to me you have many different guitar signals going directly to the mixer. If I understand correctly, the Zed10FX (is this what you're using? it's what I have) only has 2 TRS inputs that are impedance-matched for guitars, and the others are impedance-matched for line level inputs. Are you running directly to the mixer, or are there DI's that aren't mentioned in the video? If you are running directly, I take it you just set the gain accordingly and experience no real issues??
OK thanks again for reading this long comment. I've just discovered your work, I enjoy it and will share with others. But just one last thing. Please, please, don't ever let Mike Dawes rap again.

It would be nice to know the amount of wet/dry signal. Is the timeline 100% wet? If so, when everything is off, that means there are 3 dry signals playing together in 3 different channels, isn't there a volume change when you switch on the effects (due to the fact that from 3 dry signals then you have 2 dry signal and the 3rd is 100% wet creating a drop of volume)? Can you explain please?

Hi! All the FX channels are 100% wet.

It also means that there no overlapping dry signals that would phase each other out. Wet FX channels are completely mute when they're not switched on.

Thanks a lot Pete, I'm a big fan of yours!!! Keep on beating :) I have to figure out how to make a similar setup with my gear, the thing is that I use a line 6 M13 for my effects, but it doesn't have a "Kill dry" function, so when the effects are on, it's ok, I can set it to 100% wet, but if i bypass all effects (switch them all off) i have dry signal passing through overlapping the original dry signal.

Thanks! Interesting, I see your dilemma. I hope you'll find a way to route it properly. Good luck with the set up and play on! :)

    Hi Pett
I'd like to know the kick drum transducer. Is there any sound from the bass string leak from it even though you boot the bass frequency only on the 10 band EQ?
