Listen the album 5 times in a row, 1st thing i have to say, Rome Streetz and Ransom work so good together 💯 no skips on this album! Real quality rap 👍 production on point, and the features are doing also a great job! Favorite tracks, hmmm... claudine, jet fuel, rooftop sermons, dark love and death becomes life

Too many bars bro, this shit was meant for the rap enthusiasts for sure. Surprised as well man this definitely one of the best albums this year. Funny how Rome is literally either on something I think is AOTY worthy or its one of his albums.

This album was hard man. Bar fest project definitely. Although, I wished there was more content, in order to create more versatility to the project. But it was a dope listen, although some of the beats were not all that crazy at all. Something is telling me that they intentionally did it, so that their verses stands out more.

Thank God the game did not name drop on his verse at all Lmao. He definitely knew better when on a track with these two. And i heard that Ransom and The Game are going to drop a collab tape together next year or so. I will be looking forward to that one though.

@@Trilltev Aight bet! Been wanting a Rome record on vinyl but just havent found one, I live in Sweden too so it's kinda hard to find one that is available and the shipping isn't way too expensive
I think the whole album is good but the production on some of the tracks are kinda lackluster or just pretty simple. If they had a consistent couple of producers like V Don this would be AOTY for me but HWH8 still gots it for me

@@Trilltev i just remember when I listened to side B i got this excitement and great feeling from the album. Gunns curating on the project is the best he’s ever done yet to me. Beats, features, and bars are all on point for hitler 8. But i will say Death and The Magician with Rome and Muggs is a close second
@@Trilltev Just want to make it clear that I don’t really think there is a bad beat on Coup de Grace but i just feel some of them were really simple and not nearly as hard hitting compared to others

26:56 He's up there but I still feel like there are a couple guys like Rome, Benny, Conway, Freddie etc that are above him cus his projects are usually not as good as other top tier rappers' and he lacks versatility to be the best rn imo. If you're only talking whos delivering the best verses right now though then yeah he's at least top 3
Respect your opinion but Benny, Conway, Freddie none of them are touching him. If we are talking versatility nobody you mentioned besides Freddie has that, and though Freddie is versatile he is not out rapping Ransom. Benny and Conway been rehashing the same Coke bars for years. Granted I have no issue with that but if we talking versatility are they really as versatile as you say they are? What makes them stand out over Ransom? The fact they can rap over different instrumentals with the same exact "NBA, MLB , soccer, I got shot in the head and lived, coke , ill send my shooters" bars? lyrically they cant touch Ransom, and I love those guys. Now if we talking albums Directors Cut 3 Beat out FKTG, BOP, and Alfredo (don't care that it got nominated for a Grammy). Listen to Hereditary (DC3) , then listen to Front Lines (FKTG). Both have the same exact theme and Ransom completely shits on that song. But as always everyone got their own opinion bro.

@@Trilltev I agree that straight rapping Ransom is definitely valid for #1 right now but that's not what I value the highest. I think his consistency project wise isn't as good as the other guys I mentioned and what I mean by versatility is his ability to make different types of songs. I think Ransom's flow is very repetitive and it's really rare to find a Ransom song where he doesn't use the same flow and delivery as all his other new ones, while Benny and Freddie especially has way more variety in their music which I appreciate.
@@BusterBossJR like I said bro, all subjective. I personally prefer listening to Ransom albums over them because he's actually saying shit in his lyrics. Im a lyrics guy first, if there is no subject matter in the song but you making good music just for the sake of it just sounding good its not gunna pull me in as much as when im listening to someone with substance. Thats why I will always put the underdogs on top of the overhype 🤷🏾♂️. Respect your opinion and what you like though big dawg, we just gunna have to agree to disagree on this one 💯.
