Then for Tifa, Aerith, Barret, and Red-XIII, as good as the OGs were, the Remake VAs just blow them out of the water.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Haley Joel Osment has stuck with this franchise, and us fans as the English voice of Sora throughout almost every game that Sora appears in (except for maybe BBS?)? That's some great dedication! Especially for a video game franchise, and one that has spanned multiple consoles over the years! I know other voice actors have stuck with their characters over the years as well, and they're awesome too! But given that Sora is the main character throughout the bulk of the franchise, and the same voice actor has voiced him since the beginning is just...wow!
Let's hope he doesn't get replaced and take away all the credits from him and against his will pass it on to some young celebrities who never even heard of Kingdom Hearts, and then become used as a marketing gimmick.
Hayden saying 2 years always made me think Sora was supposed to have been sleeping for a lot longer than he was, and I think an extra year would've made more sense for why everyone looked older

I really didn't realize how much of a star-studded cast of celebrities played some of my favorite KH characters. I've seen all of these people atleast once as characters in other titles as themselves.

I grew up watching Steve Burton in General Hospital because my mom was obsessed with him in the show and when I found out he voiced Cloud, I nearly spit out my drink.
Right? He was an extremely distinguished actor with an insanely long history of acting, how did he get a voice acting part in one of the whackiest video games ever? Did he audition? Was he asked and accepted? What did he think the game? His character? Such a shame.
I'm pretty sure Tech TV, or maybe it was G4, also had their own interviews with the voice actors. In addition to these VAs they also had Matt McKenzie, Christopher Lee, Doug Erholtz, and Jim Cummings but they didn't have Rachael Leigh Cook, Mena Suvari, or any of the Gullwings.

And that RIP even applies to the FF7 characters since in FF7R they replaced all the voice actors. I’m not mad about it though, the new VA’s are great but it’s a bit unfortunate. As for in KH, hope KH4 is chock-full of FF characters!!

Man this might be the greatest collection of voice actors for a video game! Nearly all of the original Disney voice actors reprise their roles for this.

its weird how they redo their lines and it has a lot more emotion then they do in the game.
Makes me wonder if alot of Hades arm movements come from the voice actor or if he's just that in the zone. Either way always solid VA from him

I'm pretty sure Tech TV, or maybe it was G4, also had their own interviews with the voice actors. In addition to these VAs they also had Matt McKenzie, Christopher Lee, Doug Erholtz, and Jim Cummings but they didn't have Rachael Leigh Cook, Mena Suvari, or any of the Gullwings.
