Yes, the water at the east coast is better than the west coast. Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang, Pulau Tioman are some of the popular islands there. On top of that Malaysia also got a lot of beautiful tropical islands at Sabah 🇲🇾
Sometimes you just gotta take time to slow down for a bit, and having a lounge time on the beach followed up with a sunset meal sounds absolutely wonderful to me. Where's your favorite place you've been diving?
Brother and sister, there are many many dive spots there. You spent 2 days only. You can watch american christopher lau who went to perhentian and lang tengah last year with his family. He is based in thailand. Great vlog from him.
Wow I stayed at Senja Bay Resort back in May, as well! Did you feel a bit scary in the wooden houses up there, since they are a bit shaky, especially when people pass by? 😆
Yes we went snorkeling and it was great! It’s free to snorkel if you have the gear but if you don’t, you can rent it for a small price from the vendors at the beach or your hotel. Amazing place!
As a malaysian, my top diving pick for my country based on visitor feedback on vlogs. 1. Layang-layang atoll sabah : hammerhead 2. Sipadan island (the big stuff like sharks, whale sharks, hammer heads, turtles, parrot fish, jack fish, barracuda) / mabul island (macro diving eg nudi branch, croc fish, lion fish ) 3. Kapalai 4. Perhentian island 5. Tioman island
April till July are dry season. October onwards are wet season. Some months during monsoon, perhentian islands are closed (off limits). Staff are placed at sister resorts on the mainland. So do not come end of the year lol. Also by closing off for a few months marine life rejuvenates. This what makes our east coast islands world class. Nature and safety first before profit I guess for lang tengah and redang are the same. Not sure about tioman island. Still open during monsoon as it is not affected in johor state
East coast is crystal clear waters. Langkawi is not as crystal clear. But langkawi is more family friendly for young family. Perhentian islands are for diving, hiking, snorkeling.
@nicoleandmico haha this bloke really going to spam bitter comments on whenever videos about Malaysia.almost about anything everywhere...and he's Indonesian 😂😂😂

Enjoyable to discover Malaysia with you two, nice to see beyond the cities ✌️❤️🇬🇧much love
Thank you!
Malaysia is very underated. Absolutle stunning country.
Beautiful video and island guys! ❤️❤️ we definitely need to add it to our list for our next visit to Malaysia
Definitely!! It was so beautiful! We were sad we only had a few days there. We could have stayed for months haha
You are always welcome to east coast.
@@keangwooichoo6138 thank you! I loved this video by my fellow Canadians and friends!
That wreck dive looks incredible!!! The shots of all of the fish are insane!! I bet that was an unreal experience
Sorry to say, we prefer under rated. We do not like over tourism like in bali and thailand. Perhentian is not 'dirt' cheap. But affordable.

Your diving video looks amazing.
Thank you 😁
Should try redang and tioman island too
Yes, especially Tioman, a heaven for snorkeling and scuba diving
Wow I stayed at Senja Bay Resort back in May, as well!
Did you feel a bit scary in the wooden houses up there, since they are a bit shaky, especially when people pass by? 😆
Yes we did haha. A little old and dated but honestly it was perfect for what we needed!
It's unfortunate you are short of time if not you could visit Redang Island and Kapas Island nearby..Kapas might have the best diving spot
redang you can go for a day trip from the perhentian islands, right?
Perhentian besar is for family resort vibe.
Perhentian are gorgeous but i believe the most beautiful island in Malaysia are in borneo Sabah...
We want to go there so badly! One day we will :)
Did you go snorkeling while you were there ? Was it free to just snorkel off the beach ? Thank you for sharing.

@@nicoleandmico yes, I'd like to hit the islands of Perentian, Tenggol and Tioman on East Coast of Malaysia for snorkeling.
I LIVE IN MALAYSIA AND ME CATHERINE AND PAM GO AS A TRIP

Hey nice video :) what time you folks visited? Is October good time to visit?

Thanks so much for detailed information. Tioman visited a week before it was serene
Mango shake cheaper than jalan alor kl
❤wonderful
Thank you!
What month were you there?
This was in late April
Our small islands do not have incinerators.
How would you compare the beaches with those in Langkawi?
East coast is crystal clear waters. Langkawi is not as crystal clear. But langkawi is more family friendly for young family. Perhentian islands are for diving, hiking, snorkeling.
The haze is from kalimantan and sumatra. Both indonesian areas. Slash and burn farming but as usual they deny it.
🥰🥰
ALSO GO SEN KELING
Like they say "it is a SIN not to dive in perhentian"
You did not see turtles lay eggs at night at long beach? Yes they DO.
Guys when you're coming to India again?
We aren’t sure, but we definitely will one day!
Nicole speak more slowly and clearly you are very hard to understand
Sharing to everyone of Jesus Christ, He is coming back. We are spiritually saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord God and Savior.
Have they asked you already if you're Malasian? You Malay boy. 😊
Haha yes a couple times they assumed I was haha
Litter make world bitter
