Does anybody else remember the part in portal where they said you might accidentally see you're past self because of some time travel stuff that were doing? This makes total sense with that
***** Hohoh... Now you are backing up. Mate, you didn't get the thing that he was saying. Did he say "all of the channel"? No. Did he say "everyone in this god-for-saken world"? No. If you think that you are part of "we", well, then you are... In a nutshell, he was not talking about the whole channel. He was talking about the people WHO wanted it...
Another issue with portals is that they appear to violate thermodynamics. Go to a planetary body (like Earth) and place two portals opposite each other, pointing towards the planet's center of mass (a portal on the floor, and a portal right above it facing down). Drop an item into the bottom portal, and now the item will fall endlessly. Put a coil around the portal system (assuming the item you dropped was magnetic), and you now have Infinite Energy. Not only is this a perpetual motion machine, just the fact that one portal can have an angle different from another portal, and that items can pass right through them in the "proper direction", means that conservation of momentum is being completely violated.
Gravity is the same as Wormholes: Space-time. Actually, a Portal would "emit" Gravity. Also, the Phenomenon described by you, is present in the falling arc of satellites like the moon.
1) You said you would upload these once a week 2) Please do a video on Towerfall Ascension. It's a 2d game. When you go down at the bottom you come out at the top and when you go left left you come out right (torus shaped). But there is gravity which makes it weird.
The portal gun is powerd by a black hole which due to hawking radiation would shrink near instantly either exploding in your face as the mass of it is converted in energy or would just straight up eat you.
What Grand Theft Auto maps would be more self-sustainable in Real Life and thus more realistic, in terms of food, water, electricity, you know... The basics? Would they be able to sustain themselves or they would be bankrupt in a few days?
A lot of Grand Theft Auto maps use cities from real life like GTA 5 uses Los Angeles and GTA 4 uses New York City. SO I'm pretty sure they would be able to sustain themselves
What I mean is for example: Liberty City doesn't have any farms, so they need to bring food through boats or planes, which coast a lot. But they have lots of factories, companies, offices and a nuclear power plant, so they can probably get enough money to sustain themselves without farms. Vice City doesn't have farms nor big industrial areas, so it would be hard for them to do the same, but they can get their money from Tourism.
Lewis V i meant if you went into the 5th dimensions and manipulated it with forth dimensional matter so phisics works like it was designed in Minecraft and spectate but your way could work
Not quite sure if it's the right place to ask, but imagine you create two portals that are facing each other. Then you take a pole with the exact length of the space in between these two portals and put it into the portal. The first end that went through the portal would come out at the 2nd portal, right? So what would happen if you manage to get the two ends of the pile to line up perfectly...? Would the pole fall down or would the constant stress let it "float"....? I hope that it's at least kinda understandable what I'm trying to ask
could you do a video on how game protagonists can hold so many weapons without slowing them down? like in GTA 5, where you have a minigun and you move slow, then you put it in youre pockets, and poof! its weightless now
I did, and I watched the Aperture Investment videos too. In video four, there are blueprints of the dual portal device and the back of the device contains a miniature black-hole which makes the portals. Video four also explains why the portals are blue and orange, there dyed blue and orange with the help of a dye reserve at the front of the device.
That's not how the Casimir Effect works. The plates are drawn together because space doesn't have an energy density of zero. It has a small but nonetheless positive energy density which causes tiny pairs of quantum particles and antiparticles to appear and almost immediately annihilate back into nothing. This ubiquitous particle soup "boils" like a pot of hot water, which causes a positive energy from all points and in all directions. These particles correspond to various wavelengths in the quantum fields that propagate all particles, known and unknown. The plates are nanometers apart, so any particles with a wavelength larger than the space between the plates cannot propagate there. We can then determine that overall there will be a lower number of particles per unit measured between the plates than outside the plates, which means lower energy density between than outside. Bam, pressure, plates close. The Cosmological Constant, aka Dark Energy means that there is a monumental amount of energy inside space-time itself, which can be seen in the continued acceleration of the universe. Empty space is never empty. Without a single drop of energy, I don't think space-time could even be called such. I don't think an energy-less area of space-time could even be regarded as existing in the usual sense of the word. It would be utterly featureless, thus undescribable. That doesn't mean negative energy is impossible. Negative doesn't mean zero. The difference between positive and negative energy is literally the same between positive and negative magnetic poles. Literally the same, but inverse values. Two sides of the same coin. School taught you the number line, which turns out to be a total misrepresentation. It's a number circle, with zero at the bottom, positive ascending up one side, infinity at the top, and negative descending down the other side back down to zero. Even zero and infinity are the same but inverse. Infinity is exactly what it sounds like, an uncountable number that contains all countable numbers. Infinity is neither positive nor negative. Zero isn't nothing, it is neutrality. It is all numbers combined, which cancels out to neutral. The laws of physics as we know them pretty much forbid absolute zero (Temperature), but there's nothing wrong with true negative temperatures. (Not C or F. Use Kelvin) Seriously, Google that.
Here’s some science that portal gun had to shoot the speed of light pretty much because i takes so long to get to the moon it’s so far we can fit the all of the planets between the Earth and the moon with a lot of space left too it has to be the speed of light or faster so I should not even be able to she the shots of the gun
Hey, what happened to Life Noggin? It had really good content and I still needed to ask what would happen if Earth's land flattened out under the ocean. Also, that brings me to something else. Would Bioshock's Adam and Eve injections be actually possible.
I like the video, but you guys could've explained some concepts better if you had animated them. For example the paper folding part could do with a point animated to move along the fold so that audiences can visualise better.
I think you meant it right but you said it wrong. I think you're then not faster than light can travel you just cutoff the way light needs to travel this distance, so you aren't faster you are nearer to the object you've teleported than the light in the starting position
Valid i was thinking of having some magnets running through the portals (like you said, ceiling and floor) and have coils along the side so that you'd have na induced current. wouldn't it work? :D
a portal cannot change the rate of accelerate , I would assume , I suppose at first I thought a portal cannot move , as a mechanic in the game , but "moving" isn't at thing due to relativity , then I thought it can't accelerate , but then gravity
+Ricardo de Lemos to be honest , I have no idea what you are saying , please explain what you're saying but what I'm saying is that portals can't be on a moving object except there is no moving object , because relativity
Does anybody else remember the part in portal where they said you might accidentally see you're past self because of some time travel stuff that were doing? This makes total sense with that
I do, and it was your future self.
sience of subnautica: could a man survive years on the ocean, eating only fish and with high preassure
YAS
Yes Best game EVER no really you should do that
depends if the explosion killed him or not.
no a man cant because not one food has everything you need to survive
cold hunter Actually you can live on potatoes
have you finished both Portals if so, you should see if all the portal science checks out. That would be cool to watch.
i would love to have a portal gun IRL. apart from being really practical it would be brilliant for pranks xD
we want hl2 gravity-gun physics next!!!!
me too.
so we, basically.
+PlushPuppet Well, that game is definitely better than "Undertale", so, "we".
***** Hohoh... Now you are backing up.

***** Alrighty then, alrighty...
More likely an electro magnetic field and since *most* things have a magnetic field even a tiny one.
Last time I was this early, USA was still in UK.
You probably wasn't even born when the USA was in the UK
+FlyingCookiesNL Ooh better watch out we've got a genius over here
+Sega And he even says "probably" as if someone who is alive was born prior to the independence lol
Have you even visited Britain m9?
+FlyingCookiesNL weren't
Glad to see (or hear) Julian narrating! :D
The Murderous AI That Calling u flat in Portal 2 is : GLADos.
Well, in the aperture science instructional video about the portal gun, it said it had a miniature black hole within it. Perhaps that's the key.
Oh that's cool, you took all of the research and ideas from "The Science", condensed it down to 3 minutes, and took it's spot in the algorithm. Cool.
Black Mesa: *resonance cascade* "This is fine." *entire facility falling apart*
The portal referencing is strong. Awesome.
Bruh, what`s the background music? I`ve heard it many times, but i still dunno what it is :P
I like what I see and want to learn more science behind video games
Play Solar 2! It's a fun sandbox universe game. You could even talk about the Big Crunch theory since it's in that game.
Thank you for analyzing these games

+Esoteric Someone welcome
+Esoteric Someone are you a physicist?
Gravity is the same as Wormholes: Space-time. Actually, a Portal would "emit" Gravity.
Also, the Phenomenon described by you, is present in the falling arc of satellites like the moon.
+Esoteric Someone Yes, but they are both a property of space-time continuum curvature.
1) You said you would upload these once a week

Do pony island, why did satan change his demon job into a proffesional hacker?
Is this supposed to be a joke
+Satan yes
am I supposed to laugh
The portal gun is powerd by a black hole which due to hawking radiation would shrink near instantly either exploding in your face as the mass of it is converted in energy or would just straight up eat you.
The paper part Made me understand, Thanks!

+Douglas Rampazo lol
+Douglas Rampazo they dont need farms, some cities get food transported lol
+Satan and that's expensive. Immagine transporting food for 1.000.000 people through the ocean. Prices would be high up.
What's the music in the background?
The sciencd behind minecradt lol
or is it possible that another universe could be all cubes like minecraft
+Teresa T thats a stupid question
Lewis V
i meant if you went into the 5th dimensions and manipulated it with forth dimensional matter so phisics works like it was designed in Minecraft and spectate but your way could work
YAS!😂😂
+Teresa T Life Noggin has already made an episode on that topic
hey!! tnx for new channel! i am really enjoying it! do you remember ASSASINS CREED FIRST GAME? i would like to hear about it!!

Can't wait for Portal 3 in VR!
You used the same paper explanation for wormholes as they do in interstellar, nice.
Great video guys!

SCIENCE YEAHHH!!! MORE CAKEEE YEAHHH!!
Does nobody read the signs in the bowls of aperture, supposedly the portal gun is a Quantum Tunneling device
I did, and I watched the Aperture Investment videos too. I know it from the trailer in 2011
Do a video about Halo 4 and the planet Requiem!
Yes
no, ringworld halo
YAAAAAA THANKS FOR MAKING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited to see
Wormholes are so unstable that they will collapse on themselves
What's better? Teleporting where you want? Or A portal gun?
Kaleb xx
Portals. I could leave one in my fridge so I can grab a soda without getting up from the couch.
You could shoot a portal on a really nice beach and then one in your room so you could go to the beach anytime you want
portals, so you could ditch school at any time but in a place where its very hard to find. Just shoot a portal next to your bed and one at school.
A potato flew around my room before you came in...
still waiting for the next portal game
Yeah.. I loved that game and I was like 5 and I thought Wheatley’s name was “deadly nerotoxin” im such an idiot
what's the background music?
Yesssss my favorite game of all time!
WHAT IS THE MUSIC
It'd be great to see an episode about the Assassin Creed's ANIMUS. Is it possible to have a machine which puts you in other peoples' perspective?
Talk about how minecraft is straight (and/or) diagonal lines only! :D
is play noggin the better Game Theory

Do a theory on bad rats and how the rats got all the weapons and learned how to use them.
Game theory: how did I never think of this!?
"Today we're going to talk abou Port" 😅
lol love the cake reference

well what if somebody abuses the Portal Gun and ruins the space-time continuum, ending the world prematurely?
Ok, someone fund the USA to make millions of working Portal Guns!
Science of destiny. Can you have infinite energy grenades?
I live Portal, its a very nice game :D
Please do Fallout and the effects of radiation.
The Thing Is: It's Particle Enfrangement, Not Wormholes.
Instant subscribe.
So worm holes bend space and connect to points, does that mean a warp drive is just a incomplete worm hole?
I love portal and portal 2
Interstellar reference with the "punch hole through the paper" thing.
MAKE THE SCIENCE BEHIND TERRARIA(increasing your max life)
I like the video, but you guys could've explained some concepts better if you had animated them. For example the paper folding part could do with a point animated to move along the fold so that audiences can visualise better.
If something with great mass can bend space, are black holes a possible wormhole
Do the science of space engineers
i really love your videos btw dude (Y)
yall should do long fall boots
Time travel to the FUTURE, or time travel to the PAST. THERE'S A HUGE GAP BETWEEN THOSE, IMPORTANCE WISE.
You should do the science of the gravity gun from Half Life. If it was theoretically possible and if we could create one
What's the name of song??
TheCoolKid falling light
Science of Happy Wheels!
when I first played this, I immediately thought perpetual motion machines.
You should do the science behind skyrim's shouts
I think you meant it right but you said it wrong. I think you're then not faster than light can travel you just cutoff the way light needs to travel this distance, so you aren't faster you are nearer to the object you've teleported than the light in the starting position
Wraith from Evolve? Anyone? I'm so curious as to how it works. How it floats and what not.
2:27, which murderous AI that keeps calling us fat? they both try to kill us and both call us fat.
Should be a channel named Movie Noggin.
Gravity rips open Spacetime. Physics not needed.
can you make a vid about the animus in assassins creed
Doesnt a vacuum have energy " Vaccuum fluctuations" due to the uncertainty principle
What if you crush yourself between two portals?
if you open a portal here to the moon, wouldn't that be a big problem? the difference in pressure shouldn't eventually "suck" everything to the moon?
The Science of Life is Strange
I am Back From 2082.. Wait.. What? This Video was already here in 2016?? ... why did people not watch this?
science behind portal long fall boots
so, portal Guns shoot negative energy? sounds cool. can you eat it??
I hate being that guy but does the back ground sound track have a name? like can i get this chill song?
the science behind crossfire
Ok, would antimatter work with negative energy the way matter works with positive energy?
Yay!
oh god this is reminding me of event horizon, that movie gave me nightmares :(
Do a video on N.O.V.A 3!
if you think about it, having a portal gun would allow you to have infinite energy
Perpetual Motion. One on the ceiling and one below, if you place something in one portal it would move forever
Valid i was thinking of having some magnets running through the portals (like you said, ceiling and floor) and have coils along the side so that you'd have na induced current. wouldn't it work? :D
a portal cannot change the rate of accelerate , I would assume , I suppose

Chris Ng so you're saying that as soon as the magnet reaches terminal velocity it'll stop inducing a current?
+Ricardo de Lemos
to be honest , I have no idea what you are saying , please explain what you're saying
but what I'm saying is that portals can't be on a moving object
except there is no moving object , because relativity
1:14 so is he talking about a vacuum cleaner of another type of vacuum
How do you refill the hole though
I know where a actual portal is but it goes straight to destruction.
If I build one why want then everyone wanna be my friend.
The science of Terraria! Hard Mode!
This is like a different version if game theory not that there is something wrong with that
