I am always inspired to try new stuff after watching your videos. i cant wait until we can see your RV in person if you get a chance to come to vancouver island. Thank you for the always awesome new video. Have a fantastical week. please give peaches and your little birds hugs
Hi Deb! I think the same about you and your videos. That sure would be fun to travel to God's country again. I'll get busy! Thanks for stopping by! The birds thank you. I think the sparrow and dove are becoming friends. Best regards.
I am impressed how you fixed up that rough looking bumper and made it into something that looks very nice. I enjoyed watching the steps you took to fix it up. Well done my friend!! Good work as always! Talk to you later.
Hi Joycey! Thank you. I had fun working on it, and it came out nice, so I'm satisfied. Thanks for stopping by for a visit. Wishing a pleasant weekend. Warm greetings from Wishram.
Hi Lloyd! The heat gun is slow, so I'm going try my infra-red propane heater next. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a pleasant weekend. Best regards.
Bumper looks a hell of a lot better, Todd!! Impressive!! The bottom does not matter in the end but still looks alright!! It's protected in any event!! I love how you did this!! Very cool!! That's gonna work beautifully! Looks amazing!!!💖
Hi Chris! It certainly does, Thank you. Yes, getting it protected is the main thing. Happy Friday to you. I hope you enjoy your weekend farming. Thanks for stopping by. Take special care my dear friend.
Huge improvement and do good by you Todd!! Thank you this weekend is a transformational one so I really appreciate your sentiment! Cheer my friend!! Glad to have you in my life!! Cheers!! Be well!!💖
Ciao Todd! I enjoyed your video! Thank you for sharing with us your works! So we can understand that there is a lot of work behind! So nice to see your new look with short hair... You look younger for sure! Many greatings from Modica to wishram!
Ciao sweet Melania! Thank you. You are most welcome. I feel younger with less hair, but all my strength has vanished. I'm saving a lot of time not having to comb my hair anymore. Just kidding! I came up with a new saying this morning: "Turn on the cold water and turn on the life!" It's true; try it! Thanks for stopping by for a visit. Many warm greetings from Wishram to Modica.
Wow! What a difference from what you started with. Great Job Todd! Same process as the combustion cases for the gas turbines I worked on back in the day.
Hi Bill! Thank you. I enjoyed pounding those wrinkles into submission. That powdercoat is amazing stuff. Wishing you a pleasant weekend. Things have cooled off here. Best regards.
That is some transformation. I have been working on my sons moped today its about 60 year old. Lots to do on it.. My son helps when I am no there and caused about 5 times more work.... Good hair cut I meant to say before. Oh if anyone looks at the underside of the bumper I think you have the right to back over them lol. Ok no over.. What temps do you need to cure it? Take care.
A 60 year old moped sounds like fun! You're supposed to bake the powdercoat at 400 F for twenty minutes after flow-out, which takes about 5 minutes usually. It's nice to be respectable again and have short hair. Take care.
Nice work Todd! Looks very good for an inexpensive home job, especially after seeing those "before" pictures! Is there anything you can't do? ;-) Glad to hear the little sparrow is doing well. Is it flying outside on it's own? Does it want to come back in the house? All the best to you Todd, and your avian family!!!
Hi Bart! Thank you. I haven't let the bird outside yet; I want to make sure it can feed itself first. I'm not sure what will happen when I do let it outside, so we will have to wait and see. The bird continues to do well. It was practicing its singing yesterday, which was fun to hear. Thanks for stopping by. Take special care.
It's holding up pretty good where I got enough powdercoat on; I can see some rust peeking through in some spots where I didn't get enough coverage. So, I think it bonded pretty well. Thanks for stopping by. Best regards.
@@markndg I just checked the bumper. It's been sitting out in the weather since I powdercoated it. The bumper is holding up well, but I can see some rust spots where I didn't get enough powdercoat. I haven't done any curing powdercoat with my heat gun since the bumper. Take care.
Hey Todd your bumper came out great! One thing I’m not clear on, do you paint on the powder coat and then do the heat process? Just curious what the substance was like. I always assumed it was “powder” . 😁
Hi Heidi! Yes, you spray on on the powdercoat, which comes out as a powder, and then you have to cure the powder with heat until it melts into a liquid. Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you a pleasant weekend. Best regards.
Hi The Norma! Yeah, I get things done. I watch all your videos even if I don't comment on them all. Keep up the good work! I hope you got your shirt cleaned. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are safe and well. Warm greetings from Wishram.

Way to go Todd, smart idea using the heat gun .

@@ToddAndrewCole oh ok I will try... But in summer is easier to turn cold water! The challenge is in winter! 😉
@@mpacousticduo7763 Yes, it is true. In some ways I miss the winter when the water was cold., but it's all good.

Very interesting - how's it holing up.
No doubt this method melts the powder but was there enough heat to also bond?
Cheers

Do you have before and after?
Hi friend! At 5:12 of the video you can see what the bumper looked like before I started. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.
Oh whoops my bad thanks. Was it durable and have you tried other pieces with heat gun successfully?
Large pieces
