Have to say i bought a new carbon trowel with a wooden handle about 6 months back and i way prefer it to the others. Its actually stopped my thumb splitting on the crease which the marshalltown rubber and cork handles both used to do especially in winter months.
hi mate do u have a link to where i can get wooden handle that fit nela and refina trowels? my marshall ones dont fit because of the square shaft on the handle mount, tia
@@johnny6722 not sure. I only paid £25 for the dewalt one. I know they do a bugger version which cost more, which I also bought, but I didn’t like it. The cheaper one is much nicer

Great choice of trowel Jon. We love ours. 💪
Interesting video pal. What's your work vehicle ?
2019 Ford Ranger
Are all handles interchangeable, ie do they all fit different makes of trowels. Thanks.
No. The Nela and Refina are. The MT have a square tang inside to stop them spinning.
I’ve just bought a 14x4 Marshalltown stainless steel xtra lite and I think it’s a cement trowel but do you think it’ll be any good for plastering
I have the 14” cement trowel as well. Great trowel. I just prefer the 13” plastering version. Both are excellent

Hi mate , you can get the same tool box in tool station, but in Stanley £24.99 I think the dewalt is around £ 45.00.
@@johnny6722 hiya mate thanks just picked one up today 👍

Hi m8 can u soak the carbons overnight to keep clean like s/s ?
I imagine so, though I don’t bother. Too lazy. Mine get cleaned every 6-9 months.
I soak mine when I’m on a job for a while. Gets rusty but wipes off and once it’s used or oiled it’s back to normal
could just buy a new handle

Cork is crap, fell of my trowels!
