I've had the 2.0 version with an aluminum body and the TAC coating for a bit. Fires like day one, never had any misfires. I do oil and clean it regularly though.
Maxace at their best. This is how to make a stunning OTF. Maybe some known brands like Microtech can take some ideas to innovate their line and not be always the same. Love Maxace
Dear god, I forgot how dumb their website is. Half the photos they have for their knives don't even show the blades, and the SKU numbers don't update the details when you select them. It's been like that for years now. You would think they would have updated it when they started to get popular.
Hi man I have the Damascus/Timascus version and it developed some handle grind marks on the blade just from opening and closing. It scratched the Damascus finish on the upper flat part of the blade. Is handle grind normal for such a expensive knife? Should I return it? What would you do in such case?
It depends if the scratches are near the very bottom or heel of the blade in the flat area then yes it's normal, but no it's not normal to get scratches on the cutting part of blade. One thing you can do is use some wd40 or rem oil for lubricant. But I would return if it's on the cutting part of the knife
@@NeevesKnives Thanks a lot for the quick response. The scratched portion is in the middle line about half an inch beneath the tip where the small flat area is and it’s visible on both sides. I’ll probably return it even though I like the knife very much, it kicks like a mule when shot open. Thanks again😎👍
Maxace will probably still ship it to if you're willing to risk it. They ship with taxes already paid so you won't need to pay import duties and taxes. I don't know how intensely they check parcels from China at the Canadian border though. From China to Europe they basically do not check anything, so I can order automatics and balisongs from Maxace even though they are illegal where I live.
@@R4lNG3R so your yelling me is you wouldnt want m390 at all for this one. And no one buying this is going to take it anywhere or stab any thing with it. So you think at all? Like seriously, critical thinking is something important.
@@R4lNG3R your going to take this into the projects? Do you actually think? If you were too you'd likely take something cheaper. And if you have zero training, you'd likely get stabbed with your own knaf. Your just saying things without thinking.

Got the Maxace Neptune and love it
Love that zirconium
Cool looking knife, they need to work on their website interface.
You know that you are watching a genuine knife channel when the cloath used to present is not silk or velvet but microfiber.hahaha. Awesome!
That clip has such a gradual ramp it should slip in & out of the pocket perfectly
My Microtech OTF are defeated by a few weeks of pocket lint.
Damn no good
Very cool OTF, goodlooking but illegal where I live😕
You could always put the comb in and piss all the Karens off tho

Just got the magnacut Medusa. It’s so nice
Steel is always going to be better than Titanium if weight is not a variable. Steel is harder wearing especially for OTF constant firing
Damn. Now I want that coating on a custom knife. I wonder if it takes to mirror polishing like DLC
Awesome otf. Thanks Jared
Love the finish on this
Wow that thing is amazing!!!
Great review

Hey jared i can't get you discount code to work on majave is it still good?
I haven’t been able to find the length on the medusa, none of the videos are mentioning it. How does it compare to the archer
I see my next knife right there going through an Otf phase now . 👍
already order mirror type!
really cool knife i love it
Only Magnacut for my beard combs!
Can someone please help me find which website it is
..there are 2 different sites....it would be a huge help
just go to the maxace site that is where it will be if in stock

@nebulaM16 yes definitely return it, or see if they will replace it
El precio y como se consigue porfa
Maxace is so slept on when it comes to OTFs
They're just so expensive, look beautiful however
Too expensive for what you actually get. Dude also made clones prior to maxace.
Expensive? Medusa 2 it's 252 usd, a little bit cheaper than any Microtech
@@carlosmiles1011 that's expensive for even used. That heat treatment is very low end that it wastes the steel.
@@carlosmiles1011 I don't think they're making the first Medusa anymore, just the Neptune and Medusa 2.0 that starts at 350
I don't even watch knife review channels if they're not wearing at least one bandaid.
This is pretty bad ass. All i can say.
The pretty one is $800!!!! 😲
Imagine if you forgot that you had comb version in there. Let me at least make my hairdo before i die. 😂
those prices are crazy no thanks
Easy to spot a knife-guy....always has a band-aid on one or more fingers.
Not legal in canada

360 for steel body an onlay and dlc and 60rc m390 lmao.
