Do you know if Al Bowlly ever recorded this song?
Interesting question - he did sing it on stage - it is said he even broadcast it on the radio - it was one of his go-to numbers and yet there is no record of him recording the number - perhaps a radio transcript survives - sadly I feel this is wishful thinking on my part - however he did record Stardust and it remains missing - so you never know - and what did he record on the B-Side of Stardust?
@@anthonyfrew1571 no B-side. I believe it was only recorded single sided as a test with Don Barrigo. I've been trying to reach the EMI-archives, as they're the most likely to hold this item.. but they are currently busy moving the collection. And won't be complete till 2025 or 2026.
