      Anderson insisted from the start that Superman work for him, or that is to say, for "America" exclusively. He wants to find out where he's going because he doesn't trust Superman. Not saying any of that is the right thing to do, but it's where he's coming from.

      Superman never told Anderson what they were up against, for fear he would send in those kids. But if Superman had told Anderson literally anything about what Bizzaro was...maybe he would have made a different call. Or at least had been more prepared to fight Bizzaro. Also it's sad that Anderson sent those kids in anyway so all of Clark's precautions came to nothing. You can't fight an enemy you know nothing about and unfortunately Superman is the reason Anderson was so unprepared and in the dark/clueless.

      Well I think it was more why are you talking to him un-offically without questioning him, without telling anyone who know where he is when you were supposed to be tracking him. It makes you look sketch. In this case 'talking' was more as if he was having tea and crumpets.

    I know people don't like anderson but I do in some ways understand him . He was the biggest superman fan and plus a soldier which I'm sure watching superman when he was younger influenced him in his life and his dream was to work alongside superman, we can't forget the biggest reason superman and Gneral lane worked so well was because the two of them were literally family and even then they bumped heads. So to me I think this is a case where a person's expectations of a person are not meeting the reality of the situation and anderson means well but feels like why can he have the same relationship Geneal lane had with superman not understanding that General lanes relationship was also with Clark and that's the person the world doesn't see only his family

      @@breezy3392 Because Superman does work with the D.O.D. It is an actual understanding Superman has with the military that Superman shares everything he knows with General Lane and now Anderson and they share everything with him. Henry Cavill and Batfleck. Made even worse by the fact that Anderson doesn't see Superman as a dangerous alien. Anderson wasn't paranoid. Superman was supposed to work with him. There was a connection that was expected but never formed. No real attempt had been made...until a few episodes later standing in Bizzaro's house when they BOTH got slapped in the face with how stupid they were being. "We should have been allies...what was stopping us?" Okay that actual line is taken from Superman talking to Dave Harewood's Director J'onn Jo'nzz but it's the same idea.

      How can he know what he's supposed to do in this situation when no one will tell him a blessed thing about the situation until it is already way too late. Yeah he was in over his head, but take it from someone who knows, no one can help you (or in this case Superman) deal with a threat or a problem you are having if you don't tell them the actual nature of the threat or problem. He has a concept of it but no real world experience. that's a different thing. I have had people try to help me deal with a mental condition who had a concept, as well as training but I never told them what it was actually like. So of course they couldn't do a very good job helping me. Honestly, this isn't all that different.

    • @mrHunleashesHELL
      @mrHunleashesHELL 2 роки тому +3

      @@GenericName0042 Its actually neither , The Black Suit is actually a solar suit in the comics that helps Superman charge faster after his ressurection. The Black Suit in the Snyder Cut is more of a royal suit that represents the heart of Krypton , Clark wears it to honor his origin. And on the more literal note , there was no Black Suit in Snyder Cut as the shooting was done in the Red and Blue suit , Snyder only desaturated the scenes just to add the Black Suit for the sake of it.
      Me personally will always prefer Snyder's original Man Of Steel suit because the design itself is so perfection that there is no need for any other version of the suit.

    • @windghost2

      @@mrHunleashesHELL I agree wholeheartedly with you, especially the last sentence. I love Synder's Man of Steel suit. It's my favorite superman suit and I honestly can't imagine Superman wearing anything else now.
      Because it's just the PERFECT redesign of his suit that just captures who is he as a person and as a hero. Although I don't mind the brighter blue and red version from JOSSTICE LEAGUE, because I like bright colors on superhero suits. The original version works best.
      I doubt my opinion on this will change by the time Superman Legacy comes out in 2 years, but no matter what suit he has on in that movie or future movies, comics, games or TV shows, The Man of Steel Suit will always have a special place in my heart.
      And I don't think anything will change that.

    This show is really starting to piss me off with their portrayal of the military. Anderson is a Lieutenant GENERAL, not a Lieutenant!! To call him a Lt is to call him SEVEN RANKS too low! And the Sergeant is supposed to have rank on her uniform. One thing about the military, they like you to wear your appropriate rank when in uniform, especially dress uniform, at a funeral. Not only that, the volleys were WAY too close together, and there'a command to fire between each one. And the fire team members have to manually chamber the next round, even if they use semi-auto weapons, because semi-auto doesn't work with blanks! Holy shit, put some damn EFFORT into this!!

    Haven't really watched the series, but two comments about this vid:
    1) Anderson is a Lieutenant GENERAL, not a Lieutenant (unless and until Hardcastle strips him of rank). The difference is 7 or 8 steps in the chain of command.
    2) All the military members should have been at attention and rendering a hand salute during the playing of Taps. Anderson and his Sergeant are the only ones who are close to being right. Everyone else is AFU. Superman, as an American civilian, should have placed his hand over his heart. Terribly sloppy of the director and producer to miss this.
