A badger snared and shot on shooting estate owned by Viscount Lymington at Winslade , Hampshire
Police did not prosecute, but were very diligent in their investigations.
Viscount Lymington was shocked and expressed his disgust and ourage at what went on, and no snares have been reset.

And how can you be sure it was the hunt and not a farmer or a member of the department of agriculture which snare and shoot badgers doesn't seam thst a hunt would have an interest in something like this

Not said hunt. It was a gamekeeper. Landowner got rid of him.
