Thanks, Tony! My leathercraft skills have really evolved making your patterns with your classic and clean designs with very easy to follow instructions yet every single project has a bespoke quality! Give a man a fish he eats for a day...Teach a man to fish The fisherman can eat every day as well as feed his family! I am wheelchair-bound since 2009 so leather crafting gave me hope that I can still make money despite my physical challenges and I truly love the work! You have no idea how much your channel and doing your patterns have helped me help myself self which has given me a better quality of life! Kudos to you!
First time I brought my Witch Dr bag into my local Tandy a couple years ago, nobody had heard of Dieselpunk, now when I go in there all the guys are showing me the projects they have made from Tony's patterns.
I just started doing this hip pouch. I'm just rewatching the video. I hope you like my take on the way I'm doing it. I'll post on Facebook when it's done. Thanks Tony for wonderful designs
Tony, thank you for each and every one of these videos! In the beginning I could not stop watching your videos; extremely helpful, clean, and crisp! These ideas and designs have sparked so much creativity in my work. I feel unstoppable!
Good on you Tandy, Tony is the cause of multiple purchases from your shop, even from Australia. Congrats Tony, looking forward to seeing you use the burnisher on other projects
I used to wear a hip bag for a long time. Now don't. The design is perfect and beautiful looks. a cardholder pocket inside the pack will be better. But we can add that ourselves if needed. Maybe I will make one. Thanks for the Free pattern. I use your design face mask adding filter. it fits nicely on my nose and mouth.
If anyone marks the registration holes on the leather in pencil, so they can line everything up correctly. Then proceeds to wet down the edge to get it ready to stitch, be aware that you can find it difficult to see exactly which hole the mark is on. Ask me how I know not to guess! It is important to get that part right, or you may find yourself cutting the stitching and starting again. Live and learn. Fantastic pattern Tony.
Absolutely brilliant! I've been looking for a veg tan leather bum bag for a while now and couldn't find anything except for dyed leather ones. I want to create my own patina with time and now I get to create my own bum bag as well 🤗
Hola!!! Me gustan mucho tus videos y agradezco mucho tu generosidad al colgarlos y por el patrón gratis. Nos viene genial a los que estamos empezando y no vamos muy bien de dinero. Muchas gracias.
Hi Tony and thank you for the video. I have a client interested in such a 'fanny pack' but I'd like to make it a bit smaller in scale. To do so, can I reduce the print preferences to 75percent vs 100? Thank you again for your support and expertise!
Tony I love your videos, very interesting. I don't work with leather but I think those are good ideas to use with fabric. Thank you very much for sharing your work and expertise, greetings from Mexico, keep going we love your videos
Thanks for the video and pattern, Tony!! I have one of those tandy burnishers, I looove that thing!! Really speeds up finish time and makes a much more professional looking project.
Another great pattern and very efficient use of smaller pieces. Two questions: 1. Does the zigzag stitch use a lot more thread than the typical saddle stitch? 2. Any issue if you make the back piece flesh side toward the body rather than the skin side? Thanks again, maestro!
Hi sir, with all respect, if you can tell me in what situations i can sell some products made from your prints? I can do this? I must pay some license, some aproval, thank you sir aniway for your dedication and great products. You are a real inspiration and help.
Is there a reason the back panel was attached with the flesh side away from the body? I would rather it be the other way for aesthetics as long as it wouldn’t create any issues.
Hey there, loving this pattern so far! But I have a question, at 13:06 when it cuts to the end of the zig zag stitching both sides of the front panel are stitched. Did you start again at the top and go down the other side? And end both side at the bottom or something else? Thanks for the help!
@@SYalamanchili1 I figured it out and actually just finished the whole thing about an hour ago. I started on the same side as he does in the video and got to the bottom (so I did one whole side of zip zap) but I didn't burn off the extra string just yet. Then I repeated from the top with new thread going down the other side. Once that was done I cut all the loose threads and burned them down. I hope that helps!
Hi Tony, hope you and Diana are well. I have a question about the Fanny Pack construction. When you connected the front panel, where your logo went. It appears that you started in the top center, but instead of going around, it appears you half then the other because you finished on the bottom. Please clarify. Thanks :-)
Hi! I'm currently making this bag and I don't understand for the zig zag stitch how you manage to finish up the stitch at the bottom of the bag... You started at the top in the middle and went in a circle, shouldn't it end at the top? :/ Any help would be very appreciated!
Hey Tony ! Quick question, 1.why did you stitch the front pannel this way?. 2. Would a regular saddle stitch for one stitch line work instead ? Thanks! 🙏

LMAO that is so true. My local Tandy leather in Lithia Springs literally had a plaque mask on display right when you walk in. Lol

Have just ordered my syringes and refillable markers. Thanks for your videos which are keeping a lot of people sane.

Tandy is the only national leather store here in the States. They were where I first learned to do leather work in 1992.

Thank you for the patterns that you are making and giving to us. I donated to the pattern fund and I hope everyone else will do the same.
Thank you so much!
Tony, that pack is incredibly awesome, again you show your amazing talent and generosity. Thank you so much for what you do!

Oh hell, I love the syringe tube idea for the glue.

Great video! Can we use the pattern commercially?

How do I go about getting the pattern love The Bum Bag .
Thanks, you are really the best 🥰
It's going to be a great build!
Hey Tony, I started building the fanny and have a problem with the zipper collar measurement. The piece that goes on top does not match.
Nice job!!!. Thank you!!!
ive brought the pattern, watched the video, the most work here is the hole punch,,,,,, what size is the hole punch?

Did you get an answer to this? I’m half way through the zig zag stitch and not sure how to proceed.

I probably ran out of thread and that’s why it looks like that

Awesome, thank you!
Can i use a 1mm punch instead of a .5mm? It's hard to find a .5mm. I guess i need to buy one? 🤯
It's a utility pack and you know it. ;)
Thanks for pattern 🌷
