First time I brought my Witch Dr bag into my local Tandy a couple years ago, nobody had heard of Dieselpunk, now when I go in there all the guys are showing me the projects they have made from Tony's patterns.
LMAO that is so true. My local Tandy leather in Lithia Springs literally had a plaque mask on display right when you walk in. Lol
Thanks, Tony! My leathercraft skills have really evolved making your patterns with your classic and clean designs with very easy to follow instructions yet every single project has a bespoke quality!
Give a man a fish he eats for a day...Teach a man to fish The fisherman can eat every day as well as feed his family! I am wheelchair-bound since 2009 so leather crafting gave me hope that I can still make money despite my physical challenges and I truly love the work! You have no idea how much your channel and doing your patterns have helped me help myself self which has given me a better quality of life! Kudos to you!
Good on you Tandy, Tony is the cause of multiple purchases from your shop, even from Australia. Congrats Tony, looking forward to seeing you use the burnisher on other projects
Tandy is the only national leather store here in the States. They were where I first learned to do leather work in 1992.
Tony, thank you for each and every one of these videos! In the beginning I could not stop watching your videos; extremely helpful, clean, and crisp! These ideas and designs have sparked so much creativity in my work. I feel unstoppable!
Have just ordered my syringes and refillable markers. Thanks for your videos which are keeping a lot of people sane.
Oh hell, I love the syringe tube idea for the glue.
I just started doing this hip pouch. I'm just rewatching the video. I hope you like my take on the way I'm doing it. I'll post on Facebook when it's done. Thanks Tony for wonderful designs
Tony, that pack is incredibly awesome, again you show your amazing talent and generosity. Thank you so much for what you do!
Thank you for the patterns that you are making and giving to us. I donated to the pattern fund and I hope everyone else will do the same.
Thank you so much!
oh SNAP! Tony’s got corporate sponsorship (actually i don’t know how true that it, but i’m glad that Tandy gave you some freebies)
Love your work - thank you again for designing this fabulous bag. I shop Tandy locally and appreciate them supporting my favorite channel.
Absolutely brilliant!
I've been looking for a veg tan leather bum bag for a while now and couldn't find anything except for dyed leather ones.
I want to create my own patina with time and now I get to create my own bum bag as well 🤗
Tony, you continue to amaze me with your clever ingenuity! Thank you so much.
I used to wear a hip bag for a long time. Now don't. The design is perfect and beautiful looks. a cardholder pocket inside the pack will be better. But we can add that ourselves if needed. Maybe I will make one. Thanks for the Free pattern. I use your design face mask adding filter. it fits nicely on my nose and mouth.
Thank you very much, Tony. For your work and for the opportunity to use patterns for free.
Tony I love your videos, very interesting. I don't work with leather but I think those are good ideas to use with fabric. Thank you very much for sharing your work and expertise, greetings from Mexico, keep going we love your videos
Thank you so much Tony, really enjoy your videos and most of all your personality !
I'm totally making this. Thanks! You're awesome. I've bought patterns from you before and I'm a fan.
Thanks for the video and pattern, Tony!! I have one of those tandy burnishers, I looove that thing!! Really speeds up finish time and makes a much more professional looking project.
Hola!!! Me gustan mucho tus videos y agradezco mucho tu generosidad al colgarlos y por el patrón gratis. Nos viene genial a los que estamos empezando y no vamos muy bien de dinero. Muchas gracias.
If anyone marks the registration holes on the leather in pencil, so they can line everything up correctly. Then proceeds to wet down the edge to get it ready to stitch, be aware that you can find it difficult to see exactly which hole the mark is on. Ask me how I know not to guess! It is important to get that part right, or you may find yourself cutting the stitching and starting again. Live and learn. Fantastic pattern Tony.
I love your videos! I’ve learned a ton. I’ve bought a ton of your Etsy patterns. Keep them coming!
My wife started laughing the moment she saw you. I told her you were interesting!!
From the Basque Country, thank you very much Tony!!!
thank's tony for the beautiful fanny pack gift
Nice looking Fanny pack Tony! Thanks mate, I learn something every video cheers!
Nice Tony thank you and good to see Tandy step up with some sponsorship too :D
Thanks Tony, Just what my better half asked about yesterday. Keep Safe.
congrats on the growth of your label
Great bag Tony! Thank you again for your generosity :) heading over to buy some other patterns with it :)
Awesome Tony!!! As i said on your live chat, if you make a fannypack it will be the nicest one!!! Thank you 😍
Cool! I’m going to make one and line it with thin suede.
Nice one! For the next trick... a sling bag for man?
Another great pattern and very efficient use of smaller pieces. Two questions: 1. Does the zigzag stitch use a lot more thread than the typical saddle stitch? 2. Any issue if you make the back piece flesh side toward the body rather than the skin side? Thanks again, maestro!
1. not by much. 2 it will be much harder to stitch
great idea for a marrette pouch too
Wonderful, simple and easy.
Thank you! I appreciate your generosity!
You're a genious Tony!
sensational. pretty. I will make one today. congratulations! Thanks for sharing.
Great explanations
Muchas gracias Tony!! Excelente tu trabajo!!
Thank you free pattern 👍
In Poland we call this thing a "quiver of legitimacy" ;) or kidney. Nice job :)
As always, Thank You Tony, I cant't wait to try it..
Another great pattern thanks Tony
I figured it out and cut out a new piece and now I'm done with the zipper. I'm doing the cross stitch now.
Very nice work! Thank you for sharing.
Una consulta, dónde están los patrones gratis? No los he podido encontrar. Gracias. Graciela de Uruguay.
Thank you Tony. Great pattern.
Thank you Tony.
Parabéns pelo trabalho. Obrigado por compartilhar conosco seus conhecimentos. Brasil.
What thickness of leather are you using?
Is there a reason the back panel was attached with the flesh side away from the body? I would rather it be the other way for aesthetics as long as it wouldn’t create any issues.
Thanks Tony, I'll try it!
Thanks very much for the pattern.
Hey Tony, I started building the fanny and have a problem with the zipper collar measurement. The piece that goes on top does not match.
Awesome - Many thanks for the excellent tutorials
Спасибо за вдохновение и выкройку. Подписка и лайк-всегда.
Thanks!
These designs of yours are pretty cool and I have already bought 5 of them during this whole covid craziness. They look great and easy to assemble, even for a beginner. I just wanted to ask, how do you make that DieselpunkRo logo? Or any logo for that matter...
Love it. Can’t wait to make one.
I saw this one Facebook and wanted to make to as an art supplies case. I like to draw in the open,
Hey there, loving this pattern so far! But I have a question, at 13:06 when it cuts to the end of the zig zag stitching both sides of the front panel are stitched. Did you start again at the top and go down the other side? And end both side at the bottom or something else? Thanks for the help!
Did you get an answer to this? I’m half way through the zig zag stitch and not sure how to proceed.
@@SYalamanchili1 I figured it out and actually just finished the whole thing about an hour ago. I started on the same side as he does in the video and got to the bottom (so I did one whole side of zip zap) but I didn't burn off the extra string just yet. Then I repeated from the top with new thread going down the other side. Once that was done I cut all the loose threads and burned them down. I hope that helps!
@@Skylersthemann1 Thanks!
very nice but can i use it as a waist bag
Very clever design!
Hey Tony ! Quick question, 1.why did you stitch the front pannel this way?.
2. Would a regular saddle stitch for one stitch line work instead ? Thanks! 🙏
It's a utility pack and you know it. ;)
Hi sir, with all respect, if you can tell me in what situations i can sell some products made from your prints? I can do this? I must pay some license, some aproval, thank you sir aniway for your dedication and great products. You are a real inspiration and help.
Can i use a 1mm punch instead of a .5mm? It's hard to find a .5mm. I guess i need to buy one? 🤯
Loved it 👍👍👍
Fanny means something completely different to a lot of us in Australia.
But, nice work.
It's going to be a great build!
ive brought the pattern, watched the video, the most work here is the hole punch,,,,,, what size is the hole punch?
How do I go about getting the pattern love The Bum Bag .
Чудова бананка, я ще додав би декілька карманів і пришив тактичний ремінь cobra
Thank you Tony!
Hi! I'm currently making this bag and I don't understand for the zig zag stitch how you manage to finish up the stitch at the bottom of the bag... You started at the top in the middle and went in a circle, shouldn't it end at the top? :/
Any help would be very appreciated!
Nice music ..
Hey Tony, I bought the pattern but having a problem downloading it. I have printed some of your patterns before some paid and some free. Can you help me? I really want to make this fanny pack.
Thx Tony.

Great video! Can we use the pattern commercially?
Love this! Thank you!
Hi, Tony. Forgive my English, but I am not familiar with your language and I find it difficult to understand. What thickness of leather have you used?
I am in love with your work, seriously, the technique, the creativity, the care you put into the work you do, the finishes ... everything! a very nice profession and a great professional, congratulations! Greetings from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
The thickness of leather is 5-6 oz or 2-2.4 mm
Vasily Puupkind thanks!!!

Hi , what other sewing technique can you can use for this Fanny Pack ?
Thank You Tony 👏
Thanks you very much for the free pattern!
I buyed ¨the legendary explorer backpack¨this april 13 and now want to do this too. Have a question:
There is a cheaper option to veg tan leather for this 2 projects? (another kind of leather i mean, sorry for my rusty english im from Spain)
Thanks again!
Hello.
I bought this pattern from your website.
A short question.
Is there a way to scale down the pattern? I find it a little too big if is to be made for a teenager!
Thanks
Awesome, thank you!
