Almost done with mine! I made a few alterations to the original design: • added an hand-embroidered shark to the front panel • moved the pocket panel to inside the bag • added a patterned innerlining So dope - thanks for sharing this with us!
@@akuabaryeh5181 I'd definitely recommend taking a beginning sewing class if you haven't already. I am an absolute beginner (just started last month), and made this immediately after finishing the class. Proper Fit Clothing's youtube video + pattern were very easy to follow once I understood the basics.
Awesome tutorial! I would have never tried this on my own, but you make it look like it can be done a lot easier than I ever thought possible! Thanks for that!
Wow! So Cool! I agree with others- you provided clear and easy to follow instructions which resulted in a clean & stylish product. I'm definitely doing this!
Curious about the small piece on the front that looks like a little leather patch attached with grommets. I didn’t recall seeing that in the list of material or shown in the tutorial. It’s what made me choose this bag.
that is a really good video. Your experience sewing the curves on hats really comes in handy with this project. Take a look at the video at 7:02. When I saw it, it made me think of a flat top hat. I think it would make a very interesting front to a hat. Probably not the zipper, but how cool would it be to have a couple of small pockets. Maybe an easy mod to the Patrol Cap. ;)
Wow, this bag looks really neat, and I thought of buying a pattern for the first time in my life :D I just need to know size of the bag. How big is it? I'm small person, I want something proportional
I brought the pattern and made one, love your design and very useful Fanny Pack. Thank you. However, I would give an advice for the youtube recording, the camera focus not very well.
Hello, I went to your site and and the pattern for this particular fanny pack wasn't there any longer. How would I be able to get this exact pattern? It was exactly what I needed.
Hi Kathy I found it in the fanny pack pattern pack. www.properfitclothing.com/product-page/fanny-pack-pattern-pack-download and also www.properfitclothing.com/product-page/fanny-pack-bum-bag-pattern
LOVE my new fanny pack. I used sale fabric from the upholstery and drapery department, as the poly cotton twill was $22 a metre. Sale fabric was $5 per metre. Score! Picture on my Instagram. instagram.com/JOYofESL
It depends on how you make it? If you make it poorly it’s gonna look like shit but if you want to bling it out and take your time making it it can look really good

pacificYO that’s so cool. I haven’t made mine yet. Would you ever be able to help or tutor such a beginner like me?

It’s pretty impressive to me that your not using pins... love this tutorial! Thank you!
I’m not gonna lie, not using pins would drive me bonkers. I know it slows me down but I need ‘em.
This was crazy amazing. I just got into sewing and this is the best explained tutorial I have found so far! New sub! 🤧😌
Awesome tutorial! I would have never tried this on my own, but you make it look like it can be done a lot easier than I ever thought possible! Thanks for that!
I too made this bag by following the same instructions and its really cool.
作的手法很專業,成品看起來和外面賣的根本一樣,是很好的教學影片!
great instructions, man -- super clear and a nice finished product
Love it. Very clear instruction. Thanks
So helpful. Thank you for this
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching! 😊
I love your video. You make it so simple and to the point. Will be making one soon.
OK I just found a reply - the seam allowance is 1/4" and is included in the pattern.

I love this! Thank you for sharing.
Make sure your zipper is open before sewing on back panel.
Why? Just curious, new to sewing bags/zippers.
Giles Dickerson so you can pull it inside out!
Do you have tutorial for adding a lining?, I really like that bag
How did you break your little finger, btw great to see a bloke sewing!
I usually burn the raw edge of a webbing.
makes me anxious that you never use pins or clips and just go for it
Cherisse Daoust TRUE!!!!
No need to put pin on every little inch like some of the videos.
Practice!!
Nono it is true, but he work can be better using pins or clips.
it depends of the material.

I just need to know size of the bag. How big is it? I'm small person, I want something proportional
Awesome video! What kind of material did you use?
If I wanted to make this a bit smaller, would the pattern still work out if I scaled printing to 80%?
great tutorial
thanks for the help

love this
I'm a simple person... I see a pattern, I like the video
Hey great video. Did you ad the seam allowance from the pattern or is it included in the pattern piece already? Thanks
Seam allowance isn’t needed- it came out just fine..
It's on the pattern. It's very narrow, like quarter inch, I think.
Thanks
Thank u
What kind of material is that?
Just bought the pattern, what size zipper is it though? The link take me to one that is 30 inches but I don't think that's correct
Jennifer Belviy We recommend using longer zippers because you end up cutting the end off. In the video we used 7inch zipper :)
Jennifer Belviy yes it’s too long no but you can use the extra for another project.
What number tension is the machine and what stitch length did you use. Thanskn
Hey guys, how much fabric is needed for this tuto ? Just bought the pattern :)
Alexandra Simard I would grab 1 yard to be on the safe side. Also, I recommend duck canvas or twill :)

U bracelet nice. How to make it?
its great,, what kind of fabric is that dude?
MCPM Official not sure but I used duck canvas. Pretty durable.
Is that the only fabric you can use ?
You really can use any fabric. The heavier weight fabric will turn out more quality and last longer.
Check size for all tols
Great video. Is the seam allowance included in the pattern?
1/4"
I think ppl are saying yes & it’s a ¼ inch.

Keeneri
The front panel isnt necesarly needed right?
Nick Arts no, that’s just a extra pocket.
Nick Arts no but it comes really handy. I wore it at work yesterday doing inventory & I used it came through.
Channel mahal nih
Hi there, how are you?I’ve notice your zipper has two tiny handles to pull(sorry don’t know the name of itj
Bethzaida Villanueva hello, yes any zipper will work for this project :)
I have a regular zipper. Is it ok to use to make the fanny pack?
Bethzaida Villanueva yes that will work :)
😍😍
Could I do this with an Ikea bag?
polk yup! I make mine from ikea bags, might be a little harder to sew the back panel but take your time and it will be just fine!
Como puedo obtener los patrones??🙏
What size zipper....
Svp je peux avoir les dimensions ?
Where can I find the pattern?
www.properfitclothing.com/product-page/fanny-pack-bum-bag-pattern :)))

What an odd statement, but what ever, so don't make it.
