Last month a man from Myrtle Beach South Carolina read about this and brought his homemade sonar system. He scanned the waterways, following their route home. He spotted something and it hit the media. Within the last 2 weeks our local Sydney's Dive Team went to the location. The waterway was drained and theres the car. A camaro. Human remains were found. This 42 year Mystery has now been solved. 3 families now know what happened to their loved ones. At least 2 of the young men had small children. The baby girl of one of the missing men is now 42 years old. She was interviewed and now once in her lifetime she knows where her daddy is... Sadly there's a small bridge at this waterway and she said we've driven over this bridge 1000s of times.. 3 missing persons case SOLVED!!! Washington, NC 🌷 Rest in Peace Bill, David and Michael
I read about Daniel Reaves before and unfortunately I think he took his own life. For some reason I thought the girlfriend was either pregnant or they just had a child and that could have caused a lot of stress but I could be wrong.
1st Case: They likely left the details out bc they had no evidence to tie him to the crime. The prosecutor likely had a weak case. Im wondering why no charges were pursued for the ex violating the daughter? Im leaning toward it possibly being someone else and maybe more than one. The desecration of her body and her being taken to a different location for disposal doesn't go with the idea of it being the stepdad, but then again, it could. The DA choosing not to present evidence for such a heinous crime that involves dismemberment makes it appear as if they had no evidence at all to link him. Dismemberment is a messy process. She was babysitting her sisters, surely they'd recognize their dad. Even if the male she was seen with was her boyfriend, she was 13. Did she have a boyfriend old enough to drive? Was her boyfriend a white male? Could she have called her boyfriend to come over since the mom was gone and something happened?

I came across two possibly related cold cases (a husband and wife separately) that might be interesting to do: Robert G. Marvin Sr. and Lola Marvin. The websleuths thread for Robert has some newspaper links. The wife was found murdered at Albuquerque’s airport in 1979 and the husband went missing in 1984 from Utah (with his car also being found at the same airport but no Robert found)
In so many cases it seems as if only a gun can protect these Ladies with violent bf`s. LE is not willing or able to protect women, so they need to protect themselves. And their kids.
I think out of all these cases-Dawnita’s is likely to be solved soon. That dude is obviously ID’d by cops-there’s a reason they don’t want his name out & it’s probably bc they’re surveilling him. And if that’s true, then he sure is doin’ an awful lot to make himself stand out to investigators! Soon bro…soon!🚓

I live in Mount Vernon near Evansville, my mom is friends with Dawnita Wilkerson and her family, and both she and Dawnita's families are hoping for two things, that she could possibly still be alive, but closure if she had since passed in the time after she disappeared
Lived 5 blocks from where the little girl was found? Cut up, sexually assaulted and he was a weirdo towards her before? Come on man. Probably has done it before that and a few times after that since nothings happening to him for it. I understand it’s circumstantial evidence, but I mean come on sometimes it’s just too obvious who cares if it’s circumstantial when it comes to little girls being sexually assaulted and killed by grown men.
2 pregnant women! I remember hearing about this case years ago & it's like a black ☁️ followed this family bc they've been through so much! I also believed it was the estranged husband bc she was again pregnant but the sister is just a mystery like why murder them both? Made no sense! But whomever is responsible has or will get that karma back!

Omg I remember this case.we knew these ladies. We lived 3 houses down from the father.
