That is the way you should listen to DT. Close your eyes and dream. I think their will never be a band like DT. I am a fan since the beginning and play guitar for almost 30 years now and MR Petrucci is still able to beat everything and gives me the chills even when i heard the song like 5000 times. This is something you have like once in a lifetime
WOW! Whole song fits under this description, there are so many layers in it. But the final solo, or outro, if you prefere, is beyond WOW. So incredibly melodic, smooth, yet so powerful. Somebody said DT are Alien Angels of Music. I agree!
I would recommend Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence (the song) by Dream Theater, but with this blocking problem it should be hard. Anyways, good reaction and commentary!
That outro solo is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. As for portnoy fan boys, mangini is a better drummer, and this album proves it... Check out pale blue dot!
No, he absolutely is not. Mangini is a freak, but Portnoy has much better feel and originality. For the record, both are phenomenal drummers, but I will take Portnoy over Mangini any day of the week.
i feel like although mangini is really, really good, portnoy’s drumming had such a feeling to it! it beared some kind of uniqueness, idk. might be just nostalgia or something biased like that (and probably the fact that i didn’t enjoy the self-titled and The Astonishing).
So you like prog rock ey? How about James LaBrie + Floor Jansen + 9 other vocalists in one song? Ayreon - The Day That The World Breaks Down (The Source, track 1) ua-cam.com/video/oFuMKdrzPqU/v-deo.html
Would love if you could react to The Mortal Dance of Kali by Vikram. The video/music is great but have very few views and could do with some exposure! Keep it up man!
Petrucci is just a genius.. every song I heard from him he delivers what suits the song it's insane
Agreed brother!🤟🏻

Or a 'Live' time, lol.
Petrucci's solo is so satisfying!👌🤗

This is my favorite song off Distance Over Time. Saw them do it live and it was fantastic.
This is a proper reaction to Dream Theater! Thank you!
Illumination Theory. My favourite Dream Theater song!
When the guitar and keyboard come in at :51 in this video its such a powerful combo..So happy they played this song when I saw them last..

This song is a diamond

If you want to hear another killer melodic emotional solo listen to Breaking All Illusions
Nope.. the best of times.
@@petrucci973 why not both?
@@IndoFahmi can’t argue with that 🤘🏻😂
Great song. Could you react to The Glass Prison by DT?
My own interpretation of the outro is the scene of a wedding, that she didn't leave...
It's by far the best reaction video I've ever seen
Thanks man
Would you plz do a video for Persefone - The Majestic Of Gaia?
Thanks. I will check that out.
Sylosis just released a new video for Cycle of Suffering. If you haven't heard of them they are definitely worth checking out.

@@jasonallen5318 fair, it's your opinion... Mangini is a superhuman drummer, and has better feel by far

No ones better than Mike buddy. Thats it
Excelente! Te recomiendo Sacrificed Sons de Dream Theater.. Saludos.
Outro solo + 10 min please @
If you're 'going through something' don't listen at 7:51!
Why?!?
@@marco79cfc I think he thought it was an emotional moment

Trial of Tears
The Great Debate

Nice reaction!!
I recommend « instrumedley », you’ll not regret it for suuure !!

I came for the 1:36 reaction
Porcupine Tree - The Sound of Muzak
I would but I know it well.
@@sonicallydisruptive Then your ears have already been touched! \m/
Ahh, so that's why DT dried up on your channel. That's unfortunate.
You need count of Tuscany in your life my friend. I believe it is a better track than this by DT.
