@@hamnporkgamer not really, many games have a physics engine similar to this. Most of them have medium spec requirements for PC but some have very low specs with considerably better graphics than minecraft. A mod is almost always gonna run worse than something implemented by the devs, that is just the nature of modding (if the devs are good, which idk mojang are quite mediocre in my opinion)

VS2 w/ Eureka and Create: Aeronautics comparison-
VS2 is airships with the spinny, while Aeronautics is spinny with the airships.
They are two completely different systems for flight and movement.
If you want my opinion though... that's a different story.
I feel like aeronautics is like Minecraft's 1.16 update as a whole, with lots of thought, time and care put into it, while Eureka is like a mod that adds 1.16 features into 1.12. It just copies features it sees in the legit thing, and pastes them into the thing it wants it to be in. I say that because the blocks in Eureka look awfully like the ones in aeronautics.
Eureka is a proof of concept and meant to mimic Archimedes/DaVincis
Comparing it to a Create addon isn't quite the right way to go about it
The more appropriate comparison is Clockwork and still I say save the comparisons till both are released
I hope someone makes a compatibility mod for this and other mods like it

Wow. Absolutely insane. What is that stardust mod even do? Is that a separate planet in the sky you could travel to? Or is it just a new projection of a standard Minecraft world, except on a sphere instead of a plane? This looks absurd!

people need to really stop considering VS2 a competitor to Create Aero and just be happy they can both exist. We have a modding community so healthy we can have two different teams with the same dream produce radically different and unique final products catered to different playstyles.

Since I've heard of VS2's create compability, I always tried make a vehicle with those mechanical bearings, but the wheels always ended up falling through the ground or glitch around the world...

Yes. Though you'll need the nightly build of CBC from their discord as they haven't updated to the latest Flywheel.

This one a general physics engine and is already out (well its in beta and some of the mods to go with it are out) and aeronautics is just for airships and currently in my personal opinion looks a tad bit better overall in that department however i would say from what I've heard the physics in this one are a tiny bit better and can simulate more things than just blocks like aeronautics

@@etl0789 it's not just for airships though? there are teasers with submarines, ground vehicles, planes, missiles, cranes, ropes, etc. all with proper physics like buoyancy, drag, lift and all kinds of stuff.

No, they are all separate mods that have to be installed separately.
@@Arrhy Yes, they can work fully on their own or together if you'd like. Each one will have it's own method of building and controlling ships (and some will flat out just have fully-modelled vehicles with VS2 physics). Eventually it'll extend to VS2 physics on many other use cases as well, the possibilities are endless (since it is an open-source mod).

The same reason a lot of mods aren't. It isn't a high priority because 1.19 runs like garbage. That being said, a 1.19.x version is being worked on but probably won't come out for a while.

Mojang so lazy to add even big ships on water to vanilla gave us small boats and shipwhrecks that we cant repair and endships that fly but we cant drive them around in the end , i wanted vanilla to be able to make airships , water ships, drive endships in the end mojang just lazzy and modders make much more stuff for Minecraft than mojang themselves
mojang isnt lazy, its because this really doesn't fit the developer's visions of minecraft in the slightest, and coding an entirely new physics system is extremely hard. stop hating on mojang for doing what they want to do with their game and not what you wanted

Well in Minecraft's lore it does indeed seem that once people had boats to travel ocean and enships to fly them around in the end but at the present time theyre only ruins of the past and steve does not have the knowledge of a ship builder or understaing of how the end ships worked bcs we clearly cant build such things anymore but once they where giant ways of transportation and travel
Unless mojang just fooled us on that bad the shipwhrecks are just normal evryday builds that people would build in the ocean to hide treasure xd
And you are insane if you still keep playing vanilla minecraft and think that mods will never be better than vanilla
