    Awesome.match . I quit playing entirely for 10 years and just started back a little over a year ago. Plan on playing St Louis tourney and louisiana state and world's this year. Hope to get a chance to play some of these new guys (new to me) that I've never seen before. I'm sure I'll learn a bunch. Zeke. I've watched a ton of your videos..... ya gotta play me a few games if we are both at same tourney.

    Nice match! And very well played too.
    It would be nice if you would make a video about the pullshot (17:35) that turned the favor of the match. And also give some tips about shooting from the 2 bar and bounce on the walls (20:05). I mostly play on tables with these kind of ramps on the side but it would be nice anyway. :D
    Well played and congratulations with the match! Hope there will be more in the future!

      This is the first time i played Todd in singles on Tornado. I lost to him on Warrior in singles. I lost to him once in open doubles on Tornado.

    did Todd have a shot from the three rod in the first game. but he had a wicked slice from the five rod. clearly on purpose and on target. not many players can do that or even contemplate it. give zeke credit for not being intimidated . nice match guys

    Your lane brush is insanely quick! Do you have to make sure the ball is almost being pinned to brush at that speed or do you just hit it very hard? I find mine terribly slow unless its right in that back position which is very difficult to maintain:

    • @zekefooser
      @zekefooser  10 років тому +1

      Thanks. Yes, my brush lane is one of my nastiest passes, and it is very fast. It is a combination of position, squeeze, and quickness. It doesn't necessarily have to be close to a pinning position, but it does help to be back. The main thing for me is the quickness of brushing. Kinda hard to explain.

    At the beginning I thaugt you really gotta lose because of Todd´s defensive job...doesn´t really matter what else happen during the match. Tough job when percentage on the three is not so good as it suppose. But all the rest, your five bar, two rod and defense was spectacular to watch all the time. Thanks for the video !

    Hey !! not too familiar with the rules.. but whgy did you suddenly lose game 1 ? whats an aerial ? :/ sorry fr noob question :p

    • @zekefooser
      @zekefooser  10 років тому

      I won game 1 by blocking 5 bar shot. When i blocked it, the ball went up in the air and landed in Todd's goal. The commentator was just kidding when he called it an "aerial" because the ball went in the air. Check out my tutorial on the aerial shot so you can see what the shot looks like. But keep in mind that it's an illegal shot.

    • @zekefooser
      @zekefooser  10 років тому

      When you play tournament foosball you have to stick to your weapons. I shoot the snake predominantly during matches so I have to stick with that.

      yah i mean its understandable idk i just like pull and push kicks just cus you can throw some tricky stuff in there like todd was doing

    nice game Zeke, luckily u could stop some balls from Todd in the goalie area yourself, because Todd was pretty much dominating/baiting your three bar snake shots in his goalie area (especially the first three games); you scored nice goals with your two bar tho

    • @zekefooser
      @zekefooser  10 років тому +1

      I wouldn't call it "luckily". I played really good goalie defense and five bar defense. That gave me possessions on my goalie and scored fairly well out of the back to keep me in the match. Todd did brick my 3 bar the first 3 games with some amazing saves. But i made an adjustment in the last 2 games.
