    I remember holding a table by myself for about 4 hours even when playing double players. The Tornado in house pro came up to play me. I was so focused I never looked up from the table. After scoring 5 in a row I looked up at him. He walked away and never came out for the rest of the night. Glory days in the 80's

    These two cats are so great that they are actually able to turn each other's amazing strengths into weakness. Tony's strength is his relentless discipline and systematic play which is usually deadly against just about any foosball mortal, but Ryan knows how to turn that into predictability at times. On the other hand, Ryan's strength lies in his unpredictable 'multiple personality' style, which must be a complete nightmare to defend against even for pro-masters, but Tony is able to reduce it to inconsistent randomness every now and then. Epic collision of two foosball giants.

    I've been around foosball a long fucking time. That shot Ryan executed at the 4 min mark from the back is one of the sickest shots ever!! Definitely 2 of the best in the business right here! Raw Talent and hand and eye coordination at its finest

      There's nothing wrong with watching matches like this one. I damn sure do it all the time. But there is no substitute for just getting out there and putting time on the table. If you truly want to learn more, just make sure you play against players better than you and play in tournaments. As fun as it is to slam the ball on folks that you know you can beat. You learn so much more by getting beat by superior players. And if you know all this already, then disregard my comment. Perhaps someone new to the game will read it and heed my words.

      That's actually pretty slow for one of Tony's pull kicks. You could still see it. Check out his closer when he and Ryan play Worlds '17. [Edit] His closer on first set.

    Like some have already commented on, I was also confused when watching Moore playing here. I used to be religiously into foosball, though Ive been away from it for a couple of years now. Ive seen Ryan play both in real life and many times on youtube and I kept wondering if this was the same Ryan Moore because of the style of play. Im wondering why Ryan was just kinda messing around when Tony seemed to b taking it more seriously. I wished Tony would of started doing some of his 'mess around shots'. Spredeman's game play is always truly a wonder to behold.

      jeremybr2020 You know what makes these guys the best? They've played every die-hard foosball player on the planet...oh wait, no they haven't. Don't be so naive in this world. Good players like me pull off 2 or 3 "sling-shot" (stupid name) in a game easily, and I don't have to raise my guys either like he did, jeesh.

      So are you stating that you could decisively beat two of the best players in the world? Also do you have another name for the sling shot? One for which you dont believe is a stupid name? And what is your real name? I look forward to seeing it on all the winners bracket tourneys where you are easily dispatching these mediocre players like Tony and Ryan.

      I love to smoke guys like that with a closed hand simple pull shot. I won many of tournaments and was 5'7" tall and 127 lbs. Big guys would start bending bars and shaking the table around but no matter what they did they could not beat me. Once I got to match point I would like to stuff them from the goalie and completely humiliate them. I felt like what Mohammed Ali must have felt like in the boxing ring.

    • @jeremybr2020

      @@rocksince64 Something tells me that you smoking and humiliating Ryan Moore would be a highly unlikely scenario. And I assure you, smaller guys are just as capable and likely to bend the bars as much as anyone.

      Haha, big internet warrior you are.
      This is real pro play between two top 5 world players.
      If you actually knew how to play foosball, you would know that you are allowed to spin the man less than 360 degrees before hitting the ball and less than 360 degrees after. You don't add the two angles (before and after). Their sum is allowed to be bigger than 360 degrees.

    Moore has some good control. To bad he does so many fake set-ups used enabling a pull, but hardly never executes a pull. Must not be that fast or consistent a pull since he does so many alternates instead of just pulling. Don't get me wrong, he's good, just wish he did MOORE of what I think is his niche. Newbie here, why didn't Ryan set up the snake all along, he's pretty good at it as I understand.

  • @szdan2k
    @szdan2k Рік тому

    Actually it's much much harder to score with the style Ryan Moore uses than just simply using Snake Shot. It's incredible that he was able to score so many points with that style on the 3-men rod, i mean, he's a master, but still. It is easier to defend against that style, so it requires much more attention.

    • @AmbiCZ
      @AmbiCZ 11 місяців тому

      I agree with you, except for one point. Ryan's style is harder to defend than the snakeshot, people think it is easier because you never meet someone, who can execute it flawlessly and unpredictably. Even the top players including Ryan struggle with cosistency. It's extremely hard to control the ball, look for holes, come up with a shot and executing it, all in a split of a second. Snake on the other hand allows you to fully focus on your oponent's defenses, so it is more effective.

    where is the fast tables with rough glass field and white hard to control balls ? i like to hear the sizzle as the ball travels before clunks in the hole those corky or grip balls are so much for beginners i have been playing since 1972 our generation was way more skilled with shooting blocking and using the hole server every point you let no point serve and touch ball agressive with 5 man so you still battled let alone the fellow on the left is bending his two man rod so out of shape because he is lifting the table with it when he hits the ball there is no reason for that ! unless you like tearing it up for the next is that legal if so why i guess they are not mine to say if they were he would not be playing on them ! never understood why some players do this yea i am being a smart ass but still no reason to pull that bar up like but they are pretty good but they could be beat also !

    • @jeremybr2020
      @jeremybr2020 2 роки тому +1

      " i have been playing since 1972 our generation was way more skilled with shooting blocking"
      If you were to say that to Todd Loffredo or Steve Murray, both of whom were playing top level foosball in 1972, and still play today, they would tell you that you sir are crazy. The corky balls purpose is to make the game more about control, rather than unpredictable game play. It's the same for any sport where some sort of glove, or grip is used to better control what happens, whether its a tennis racket, a golf club or the grip on a football or basketball. And it does appear that Ryan is having a bit of a off game, and there are times where he torques the rods. But I don't think they are being bent out of shape. Ryan is considered one of the best players in the world, and he likely wouldn't be doing something that would only cause him a disadvantage by severely warping his own rods. And yes, they both can definitely be beaten. But not easily, and not often.
