I would love for you guys to go into further details regarding the load shedding capabilities of the 18kpv. That can open up a world of possibilities for many of us
Question regarding pass-through: When the house load exceeds the AC output of the inverter (supply from battery or solar or both), does the inverter passthrough the grid completely? Or does the inverter passthrough only the incremental power from grid? Example: If house load goes from 10kw to 17kw, will it passthrough all of the 17kw from grid? or just the additional 5kw from grid (17kw load - 12kw output rating) . Thank you
Past 12kW it will use off-grid power for about 5 - 10 minutes then switch to full bypass from the grid. Once returning below 12kW for load it will swap to full off-grid and begin the cycle anew!

As of the time of this comment, we have 271,085 orders totaling $107,380,809.47. That is 0.00922% of the overall orders. I've dealt with Signature Solar and my experience has been nothing but positive. I don't know their numbers specifically, but I would imagine their volume would also show the negative reviews/complaints being a miniscule fraction of their overall business. People like to be vocal when things go bad, but not so much when things go well.
If you wanted more output than the 12k/15k surge, could you use two of these 18KPV units together? If yes, would you wire them to separate panels, run them together on the same panel, with each one running different circuits, or would they run 24k/30k on a single panel, running the circuits together?
I have a question... how can or would i integrate wind generation to the 18k or the 6k hybrid inverter. Can we put wind generators in the ac grid Port or will i need to add something to do this... We are looking to buil some unique power system in Southeastern New Mexico as we look forward to build our retreat center for our organization. Power is available but the local utility is very pricey and we would like to wind generators because it can be so wind 90% of the year.
A lot of info but it would be nice if they explained the terms that are being used. I’m sure that the info is available on other channels but it would be nice if the presentation “dumbed” down a bit.
2 days run time myfoot. With only 2 batterys. Verry little load. My question how long till these hi freq inverters have large built in soft starts. So not to crash With inductive moter starts

I have been running mine now for over a month and wonder why I have never seen the screen like at minute 8:00! That's what I expected. Sipping from the grid with those short bursts of high power demand, I have never seen mine go from PV>>>Inverter>>>>to the consumption house. why? It only has arrows to the consumption house when ON grid, never when on solar. why?
You need to break down each of the loads inside this typical home. People need to see each load being turned on and seeing the delayed wattage usage and if the solar array is powering the entire home in the event of a grid down scenario and for how long with air conditioning, washing clothes, microwaving something/induction cooktop, etc.
Solar and of course smart systems are nothing without a smart usage side, period. I wonder how many people and such hudge chunk of the solar market in general still tend to ingnore it. Instead of doubling my storage capacity for several thousands dollars it's very often just as well possible to reduce consumption with a fracture of that costs without any reduction in comfort or quality of live by balancing the consumption anew as well.

Still can't start a 12kW inductive load like a large water pump without shutting down.
