At first, recording was a bit slow and I sat around trying to think of how I should go about covering this one. After a while I started to get an idea of what I wanted to do. Out of curiosity, I decided to swap out the electric piano for the guitar in the later half. Playing the leads and improvising was A LOT of fun! I actually wound up getting sidetracked for a bit, and just jammed out!

Am I the only one who never really liked the original song? It sounds like elevator music. Its not a bad track, but for a doom game, it just sounds out of place. :/
The additions in this version are warmly welcomed, however! :D
I wouldn't say that I ever _disliked_ this track, but I had never given it much thought either before visiting it for this cover. I certainly had a newfound appreciation for it after I covered it though.
That "salsa rock" bit in the later half is still among one of my favorite things to have recorded during the DOOM II Cover Marathon! ~DAR
