Thank you very much for this interesting analysis. Having all these products tested and in store at Real, I am wondering where does The Core Xlite v2 stands in the wind window compared to the Alpha or the Catalyst. I am undecided between The Core Xlite v2 12m and the Alpha V2 12m for Foiling with the Moses 633. I like both brand Ozone and Core they have great products. I tested the XLite Core in 12m a couple of days ago and did like it but havent tested the Alpha v2 in 12m.
For kite foiling can you compare a 10 m Ozone Alpha V2 and a Core Xlite 2?
Hahahahaha I am very interested too to know the difference between these 2 kites. I tested the XLite v2 in 12m size kitefoiling with Moses 633 and did like but havent tested the Alphav2
Hi Matt Nuzzo. Thank you for this comparison. Seriously thinking of getting a Catalyst for starting on foil in light wind days (still a beginner on the foil). My back ground is more freeride and big air oriented (I consider my self intermediate but to be honest I haven't break the 10m height mark yet although I am constantly getting close). I was wondering how disappointing is this kite for sending some air. I mean compared to a wave kite. I do like the jumps on wave kites like the North carve. Was just wondering what to expect the kite to handle on it's high end and taking off. Thank you
Catalyst V3 and Alpha V2 will be better (sensibly) than any Reo in jumping, ReoV6 have for sure better top end, more stability and 1 or 2 knots more upwind range (but less low end), the Reo is probably much more focused on the wave side than the Carve, but this need confirm
