- These are some of the wind mills I built I 2013. Some are made from redwood , the small one is made from all hard wood and the big one is made from exterior plywood each one has been balanced and turn into the wind

I will. I made an Elvis one last year and a KISS one the year before. It's a lot of work but fun when it works good in the wind.

Dandy Patrick. Nice to meet you. I like to make windmills too. I made a nice 16 blade one and set it up on a 10' wooden tower. It lasted one summer and blew apart. Gonna try your hub method next. I tried to use dowels but they were not strong enough for the size of the mill. Anyway, I like your video making style. I'm a new subscriber and Patrick fan now!

can you explain how the blades are attached? Did you cut two round wooden disc and then notch them out to fit the blades. I built one but my blades will not turn.
