Punching Shear in Slab

This lecture explains the concept of punching shear in the flat slab. Flat slabs are the types of slabs which are only supported by the columns. When the demand of load increases then these slabs punches into the column, so to avoid such failure, either we increase the slab thickness or column thickness in the vicinity of column And slab joint.
