This man is an absolute kung fu monster! When he wasn't being so serious he had the comedy down too. I really love finding his work on you tube.👍👍
Shaolin rescuers
House of traps
Magnificent ruffians
Ode to Gallantry
Are some of his movies where he is hillarious
They were not just actors they were martial artists. Loved them all.
ua-cam.com/video/KzNW6__SNDE/v-deo.html
They were amazing, weren't they? Still some of the best fight choreography ever from severely talented men. I'll always enjoy them.
There's something magical about these old martial arts films. No CGI, just real people with near superhuman skills. Thanks for uploading and just subbed!
I can't decide which I love more; his tumbling skills or his staff technique. Both are mesmerizing!
Damn the lizard and the centipede were incredible in skill. There choreography of all fight scenes in all the venom mob movies is just timeless. RIP 6th venom Cutie Pie you died of a broken heart after your wife died but you're not forgotten.
When I first saw the 5 Venoms as a kid, Chaing Sheng (6th pupil) was so cool as the main star of the movie.
I remember being so stoked seeing him fight at the end of the movie. "He was faking being a goofball all along!!" :)
Kuo Chui’s spear wielding skills are amazing! He probably has no equal in this area. Legend.
Lu Feng also was very good with long weapons :)
@@hiddenleafbeats Lu Feng played the no. 1 in Masked Avengers. His spear skills were also superb. At their levels, it is hard to decide who is better. It may come down to artistry vs who is more effective in real combat.
You mean his staff skills
been a fan for 37yrs
I wasn't even 10, I fell in love with him. Loved him and Chiang and Ti-Lung, and a lot more of them
I really liked the Venoms! They are the best, but when it comes to one man. I have to admit my favorite of them all is Ti Lung! I love that man.
This guy in ALL his movies was NEVER under pressure from any villains. When he knows he got u he cracks a smile.
He was tbh in invincible Shaolin he had trouble against no6 Chiang Shiang who was one of the main anti villains and the first fight kuo chui loses then at the end he does beat chiang shiang and is the reason why he dies but that too cause chiang shiang was hesitating to fight back in the end both of them team up to fight the main boss but both end up dying at the climax with the other venoms only 2 escape and survive out of the 6 venoms!
Love those old school martial arts flicks, still watch them till this day...😎
Me 2
Old school martial arts is badass
Me too bro
Now a days the fighting scenes are high and can't see well
Me too
It's amazing how this old school movies are a million times better than today's martial arts movies. Such movies are a work of art.
ua-cam.com/video/KzNW6__SNDE/v-deo.html
IKR?!?!
Totally agree!
Older is better. Older music is better. Older movies are better. Older women are better. Opps.
You ain’t never lied about that bro !!! My lord
He is my favorite Shaw brothers player I was sold when he knocked the candle off the table inThe Five Venoms when he found out that they set him up.A great athlete actor. and coreographer. Kou Choi. is the best!
Shaw brothers are the big favourite kungfu actors all of them
He was was Venom number 4: Lizard in 5 Deadly Venoms.
I love them all n they are in the movie The Brave 2
#4 THE LIZARD.... YOU'RE QUITE RIGHT 🦎
Actually NO, it's The Centipede #1.
@@johnhuddleston8647 No Kuo was #4 the Lizard I've seen 5 deadly venoms over 100 times in my life. I know what I'm talking about.
@@marklawrence76 Then maybe you should see it for the 101st time. It's Lu Feng who I'm referring to......and that is him who is The Centipede. Trust me on this okay;))
@@johnhuddleston8647 the video is about Kuo Chui not Lo Meng and my statement wasn't a contest of who's the best venom. You're statement is weird and weirdly timed so you're just blowing hot air
@@marklawrence76 Well, I'm not going to keep going back and forth on this with you. It's not that big of a deal really. NOBODY is forcing you to believe that it's The Centipede. If you want to believe it was The Toad, then be my guest. We're just going to have to agree to disagree :)
His best character was agent Hai Tao
in Kid with the golden arms!!! Best Kung fu skills ever!!!
Hello yeah I remember that one the kid with golden arms 🤳🏿
Flag Iron that this one
Della Hodge
That was a very good film. The action sequence with The Butcher was amazing.
@@kpcsr415 yes it was
For me he did really well as the blind in Crippled Avengers he didn’t even blink once
Kunf Fu theater, Sunday afternoons, 3pm. Used to love to watch these as a kid.
Thomas Thames Channel 5 back east.
I think it was channel 29 philadelphia for me. My dad and I used to watch it together he loved Hai Tao also his name from The kid with the Golden Arms..
Yes sir !!!!!!!!!! Couldn't wait to get my chores done in time to watch it!!!!!
Thomas Thames I'm from Detroit and Kung Fu theater came on Saturday nights at 11 here.
In 1983 NYC: the Drive-In Movie at 3PM, every Saturday on WNEW, Channel 5
A Big Venoms fan ever since... VHS tapes>DVD>etc
Classic fight choreographing at its best... no other like the Shaw Brohrers films
wish the Venom gang gets way MORE recognitions and adulation in today's martial arts/action cinema.
A reboot could actually be kinda cool
Some shaw brothers actors got recognized like lo meng in ip man
The choreograph is like well versed poetry !
by the way, his Masked Avengers stuff remains one of THE best on screen kung fu action of all time.
YES!! They smacked it out the park on that one. The most fight scene was superb especially the treacherous no 2 chief who descended down on his pedestal. His display was THE best after all that trident twirling, the final move to raise his foot, BAAAD!! Rewind rewind!!!
In every Hood across America this dude was a GOD!!!
HOUSE OF TRAPS, MAGNIFICENT RUFFIANS, LIFE GAMBLE, 5 VENOMS, FLAG OF IRON, SHAOLIN RESCUERS 10 TIGERS OF KWANTUNG & SWORD STAINED WITH ROYAL BLOOD = my favourites.
?????
He played in 4 other movies that never got dub over and they are good af too.
Don't forget the Kid with the Golden Arm he played drunken Chinese agent Hi-Toh.
Flag of iron is good too
Shaolin intruders
One of my favorite fist of fury "Five Deadly Venoms" crew which i've collected almost 25 to 30 movies that he's acted. Great action pack worth watching
Damn good stuff. I miss the action and excitement of these old Kung Fu movies.
poison clan rocks the world...
Quincy Stevens yeah buddy 🍻
Toad style is totally immune to stupid COVID
That's a fact 😎
Out standing, these are my favs. Of the venoms got them all in my collection. Good to see them here for others to share the awesomeness.
If only they could make Martial arts film like this again such classics moves !!!!!!
Yes it is i watch this movie's everyday

Crouching Tiger i have this movie 2
@Charisma 101 i have this movie's on DVD
I have all old kung ku from jackie Chan on up the real old ones DVD n the knew ones 2
Beautiful to watch!
Kuo Chui, the ultimate bad ass. He & Chiang tie as my fave Venom.
Yes and he was the best begger Su
Toad was my fav.
Venoms were marvelous and kings of the kung fu genre. Best ever.
This one is very good. They're outstanding in their game. When they practice Kuo Chui, the fighting styles are remarkable for justification. Their skills are super hot. As long as they know what's right for them. They can do everything invisible in any battle and conflict. It makes it perfect for everyone. No matter what kind of style they master.
These guys are my heros growing up, I'm talking 42st 70's 3 flicks for 3 dollars in the nastiest theatre you could imagine but it was still fun, I loved how the 2 theatres connected through a turn style
fun shit.
He is so daggon fine. He style is original. What I loved about him is that as much as I love Bruce Lee and Bruce Lee is at the top of my list he never tried to be like Bruce Lee he had his own style he made me love him for his own style not because he reminded me of Bruce Lee because he was himself creating his own uniqueness got to love them got to love him
As little kids back in the 80's, after we watched these flicks, we used to try to mimic their moves when we played outside! Crazy memories!😅
its sad when you know you'll never see the venom mob again
I agree they were absolutely amazing. the lizard and centipede however were incredible in skill and fighting prowess. The fact that they choreographed all the fight scenes in the venom mob movies is legend. RIP 6th venom "Cutie Pie" as he was lovingly called by his fellow cast and crew. The death of your wife took you from us but you will live forever in your youthful glory in these classic films.
Xnogenisis you feel
Xnogenisis got a tear in my eye rite now.
They put out hundreds of movies between them. They all have grown old, but they all are immortal on screen. Keep these movies going so no one forgets.
@@PostPatriot They have 7 movies with the venom mob that some never got sub or dub. They are real good.....if you like to read sub titles.😣😣😣
Omg! I had the hugest crush on him, especially in”The Crippled Avengers” 😱😍😍
He was the blind one?
@@Va1karius yup
Growing up as a kid I used to love watching this cast of Kung Fu actors. They were awesome to watch and these guys were the real deal. This guy (Kuo Chui) was always one of my favorites!
One of my top 5 Kung Fu actors
Amazing till this day. Thankful they left us a lot of classics. Poison Clan rocks the world!
He is one of the best I love his spear and pole fighting and hand to hand is A+ I wish there was a venom streaming channel and all his work was done with no wires these young ones can learn something from him
The speed and precision of these choreographed fights are amazing considering the time. And the high acrobatics were impressive considering these were done without wires. 2:30
I did enjoy the movies with Kuo Chui. Good to see again, thanks.
Out standing!
Kou Chiu. The best of the best! Thanks for the tribute!
Shaw brother Kung-fu movie we’re the best to watch in my opinion. I Loved sat drive-In movie @3pm I would run home to watch it. Fond memories...
Five Deadly Venoms, Kid With The Golden Arms, House of Traps...so much more.
Classics
My my he is so damn good this man got my heart. No other Asians can touch him.
This is a 'King' of stunt man!!!!!!! He's the legend of Celestial Classic Movies. He's the best heroes of Chinese Film history
Some of the best fight scenes I've ever come at. It's amazing that all of these clips featured the same person.
Now I feel like listening to Wu-Tang
I love this movi3 n me my family still watch them
Thank you for sharing your videos and movies
I love the sounds of everything in the movie 🎥
Excellent compilation!! Him and Sheng are my 2 fave venoms.
This is my guy right here!
Yes he is
I love all these classic Gung Fu movies 🎥. When a tween in the early 80’s I couldn’t wait for Saturday afternoon Kung Fu Theater on channel 5 in NYC.
Gordon Liu another legend of the shaw bros. Films
The best in shaolin kong fu
I think it was channel 29 philadelphia for me. My dad and I used to watch it together he loved Hai Tao also his name from The kid with the Golden Arms..
That's right, Black Belt Theater!!!!!!!
You must be talking about Lo Mang! He also played The Toad and other characters in Shaw Pictures! Chinese Supa Ninjas, many more!
He is my favorite Shaw brothers player I was sold when he knocked the candle off the table inThe Five Venoms when he found out that they set him up.A great athlete actor. and coreographer.
I agree on that
ua-cam.com/video/KzNW6__SNDE/v-deo.html
BEAUTIFUL SKILL IF YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE SEEING !!!!!
Indeed, they may be small in stature but their incredible strength, suppleness and speed makes these guys what we enjoy. Superb athleticism. Even the lackey guys have great skill to compliment the stars. Robert Tai knew his shit as did Chang Cheh.
An acrobatical genius 👊and the five venom mob I love them all
Beautiful. Truly an art.
He was my absolute favorite hands down, I have all his movies. Even the ones he choreographed like Hard Boiled.
Truly Magnificent!!!👏
Jah lives
Growing up, I had 5 deadly venoms on vhs. Couldnt count the amount of times I watched it
YOU PEOPLE ARE AMAZING. I SAW THIS GUY IN SO MANY FILMS AND NEVER KNEW HIS NAME CAUSE I CAN'T READ CHINESE! YOU KNOW HIS NAME AND HIS FILMS NAMES IT IS JUST AMAZING. tHE CHINESE DOING THE SAME THING N=NOW, SENDING FILMS OVER HERE AND THEY DON'T TELL PEOPLE NAMES AND THEY DON'T EVEN DUB THE FILMS. GREAT FILMS BIT ITS HARD TO BE POSITIVE WHEN THEY CARE IS YOUK NOW WHAT'S GOING ON OR NOT.
Me and my 2 older brothers used to put on Kung Fu fighting events with the overdubbed voices we could move are lips different than are voices we actually use to make like 200 a weekend in Cali
Imagine the amount of takes for these movies. These guys were amazing.
Seen them all and when I was young I learned a lot thanks for the clips
Kuo chui is legendary
I have this movie he a Amazing n Awesome kung ku fighter just love it😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Hes one of my Favorites, always a Good guy. 👏🏼👏🏼👍👍
Kuo Chui, my favorite venom #4 lizard rocks especially in 2 movies: Sword Stained with Royal Blood & Masked Avengers
Jon Squirrel sword stained with royal blood or I have to check that one out my Lip Chui is in there?
Kimberly Wright I suggest you check it out. It’s a good movie. Kuo Chui shows off a lot of skill in that movie.
Kid with the golden arms might be his best role
Don't leave out Crippled Avengers, he was killer as the blind fighter.
I think he was also in Chinese Super Ninjas
Poison clan rocks the world!!
This is one of my FIVE DEADLY VENOM GUYS. He’s my second favorite to Toad. My boy can throw down!!!
SidniOrchids yea, toad is my favorite venom then the lizard.
Yes he can
Agreed! Lo Mang (The Toad) has always been one of my favorite all time martial artists! He was AMAZING in Kid with the Golden Arm and Five Element Ninjas aka Super Ninjas. I get upset when they make him look bad in the Ip Man movies. I know it's probably just for comedy but I believe he deserves better given his credentials.
ua-cam.com/video/KzNW6__SNDE/v-deo.html
@@tonyrobles9070 he always plays the tragic Hero and dies in almost all of his rolls
If it wasn't for the Five Deadly Venoms movie we might not even of heard of him, fantastic master at his craft.
My favorite Venom! His Kung Fu was so beautiful to watch, especially in Masked Avengers, Crippled Avengers and of course 5 Deadly Venoms!
Damn nice work of art.
I was in love with Kuo Chui when I was 12 years old. The very first movie I saw him in was the masked Avengers and I watched it over and over Andover Andover Andover over Andover over and over and over and over until there was no more over again and I begged them to Play It Again for the next 3 months when this new cable network called w h t the very next movie I saw him in that was astonishing for me what's the crippled Avengers he was so awesome and both of these movies my favorite of course being the masked Avengers next to crippled Avengers and then the five then the five deadly venoms yes baby Nobody Does it Like run run show run run Shaw and the Shaw Brothers oh yes baby that's my boy that's my niggga
Do you know if one of these classic movies has a master/student story where the student betrays the master or something like that?
I can't manage u a lot of over for u am a kung-fu baby and I sat and watch five k. f. one time and the name run Shaw run it was to see all those cities hard to choose. Iron flags nice too.
@@RaikenXion may be it's flags of iron.
@@moreloveWhyte Ive watched loads of Kung Fu movies, i grew up watching them with my granddad, i love Wu Tang and how they use samples of classic Kung Fu movies, the Tai Chi white haired kung fu masters are my favorite cause i think they look sick.

Any weapon. Any style. This man was so damn smooth! The absolute G.O.A.T.!
Love kung fu

The choreography...
Loves me some agent hi toe.
one of my favorite kung fu actors since shaw bros movies!
All these men that star in the Shaw brothers movies are off the hook they not only fit the part but are really freaking good.
All the Venom boys are complete fighters.
I want to THank You for A Tribute to My Favorite Venom; Lizard, Aka Kuo Chui. I Don't celebrate Christmas but I respectfully wish you a happy holiday. Keep making Good Material to share.
If you liked this then you'll love, I hope, you'll love the tribute to Centipede-Lu Feng. Just type in Lu Feng tribute and it should show. It's truly a brilliant montage by Hurang.
He is bad is hell💯💪💯💪👍😁😁😁🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Him and Carter Wong are my Favorites.
Whoever was doing the fight choreography was the true martial arts master. This wasn’t that slow mo bs. These fights were real time.
chieftech714 Kuo Chui,Lu Feng and Chiang Sheng were responsible for most of the choreography in their films. With their Peking Opera backround they were very coordinated and could match each other's rhythm move for move.
Fox5 NYC…Saturdays at 3p….in the 80’s ….the BEST OF THE BEST ❤❤❤❤
We need all these OLD KARATE movies to be REMASTERED , THEY ALL CLASSIC'S
Legend ✊✊✊ 👊👊👊
I had to look him up and he was also Mad Dog in Hard Boiled no wonder he looked so familiar in it.
Yes ,that was him
Philip kwok
Sun Chien The great kickers
Love this video but, he much more great work
This is a great video but Kuo Chui aka Philip Kwok is way more amazing and you would need more time to show his greatness. I have been a fan of his for years and have seen all of his films on the big screen before home video was created. The Chinese, and asians in general are a beautiful people with a beautiful culture. Amituofo.
@D. Hayes You have one great collection 💪👍
I wish there was a 24 hour channel of this beautiful art. Please! !!
You can get untold kung fu films on Amazon prime. I was overjoyed, my wife subscribed to it and she told me to check it out. I wasn't disappointed!
I agree. This was vintage stuff. Pure artistry
the great Kuo Chui and the Venom mob
this guy is a REAL stuntman
ua-cam.com/video/KzNW6__SNDE/v-deo.html
Man this guy never ceases to amaze me. When he and the centipede (👈the only name I know him by) preform together it's like
Twins fighting. If there ever came a time when wars are settled by fist alone we easterners would be building their crap.
Yeah him and Lu Feng always go hard in their fight scenes together
