He did not show either breaking it down or reassembling it. He says he did this in another video, but I cannot find it. I just bought one and the breakdown if VERY clumsy. The manual is NOT clear on how to properly remove the barrel from the slide. The OEM instructions are WRONG. I found this out the hard way when I first attempted this last week. In order to remove the barrel from the slide, it is necessary to slowly pull the barrel back and up while rotating it 90 degrees clockwise. I have shown this to the gun store I bought this from, and they are baffled. I actually called Ruger yesterday and spoke with a Bradley Hulin in support, who initially laughed when I brought it up. He said that the procedure was a little difficult. I have made a video of how I did it and he asked me to send it to them so the engineers could take a look. I have not heard back from them yet. Other than that, I got my first shots out of my LCP tonight and really like it. I just want some clarification on the breakdown procedure.
Well, after subscribing to the channel, I found a video on reassembling, and it is clear there is something wrong with my LCP. The video shows how the barrel is easily dropped into the slide and he DOES NOT have to rotate it. I really would like an answer from Ruger on this. This is a brand-new gun I purchased last week. Here is a video of the problem - ua-cam.com/video/Hu2Su101LK0/v-deo.html
I’ve really enjoyed my LCP MAX. This is my 5th Ruger pistol and it’s a keeper for sure
Thanks for reminding me to clean the lint out of my edc
Surprised by how little is needed. I love my lcp max and I should def clean it by now

About the same amount of lubricant that a glock would get and pretty much in the same spots, yes?
An update on my issue with my new LCP MAX. Ruger has sent me an RMA for this.
You lost me at "safety glasses".
Lost me when he took the bristle brush through the barrel like he just took it out to dinner
Just make it a 5 minute video and break it down, then put it back together, wow, really.
