Joker - "What's black and white and red all over?"
Me - A penguin in a blender.
Joker approves
Or Classic Harley Quinn, but everyone's moved on from her I suppose.
@@thephilosopher7173 I guess there's some white. And no she needs a comeback
did the joker just shout sound logic at detective Gordon geez what layer of madness have we gotten are yourself into. 😅 this is on whole nother level
This is why I love the Joker. He is the only one who will own up and say if it's him or not. If he being blamed for it and he DIDN'T do it, he wants to know who did it so he can deal with them personally; he wants there to truly be only one of him.
The joker is living of off Batman money....that is insane.
Batman always being he true sugar daddy.
did the joker just shout sound logic at detective Gordon geez what layer of madness have we gotten are yourself into. 😅 this is on whole nother level
Like what Joker said in Under the Red Hood. You think I’d go to all this trouble and not let you know it was me?
If the Joker is as insane as people claim, it would make sense. Joker's schemes shouldn't make sense.
The only reason he would leave calling cards is if he wasn't insane. He knows what he's doing.
@@superdewott3209 he’s actually has super sanity. He knows the he’s a comic book character(at least in some stories) he literally sees the world and everything and everyone around his as a joke and because of that nothing really matters. The smarter you are the more insane regular people will think you are.
@@sond.lollipop8919 that take is dumb...
"that take is dumb.."
@@billybadass3056 bruh, your comment is way more useless...
It's called an opinion, take your pills and take a nap.
Man I love it when someone writes the Joker this well. "What's black and white and red all over" was an especially good part, with an amazing, shall we say, punchline.
what does that mean
So got a story...so I'm working out of town, and last night I was having dinner seated at the bar. So while I was waiting I was watching the Green Latern video from yesterday, as I was watching my food arrives. The server sees my screen and was like, "I see you Rob Corp! I love that guy!" It was really cool to meet someone irl who loves your content as much as I! Keep up the fantastic work brother!
Would've loved when Gordon asked for access to the batcomputer, Batman just busted out an old macbook with a bat logo sticker on it. "I'm broke bro, this is the batcomputer now."
Beyond Omega Level: ICON.
I guess I'm not the only one who imagined Mark Hamill voice when reading the Joker Dialogue.
his voice of the joker is so legendary....
Batman doing tax crimes LOL. I wish a vigilante would bring him into prison
LOL YES
That's how they got Al Capone. It's like Jebus says in the Okay Book - You can't fight the tax man.
That’s how they’re getting Trump.
@@matthewschwartz6607 adorable you actually think that will go through? It’s been years😂 that’s like me saying that Hilary is going down for thr thousands of emails and Benghazi😂😂😂 ignorance truly is bliss
@@sond.lollipop8919 yeah they have bigger fish to fry like Wesley Snipes🤔
Yes! That's why the Joker tags everything. In Tim Burton's Batman, Joker's entirely ego driven to be the " thing" of Gotham. Nolan's Batman. Oh this guy's going to dress up and do whatever he wants? I can do that too. I can do it better.
This has the potential to be the greatest story ever
@Aminul Parvez Joker solo run
Just added this to my pull list 2 days ago and rob did a video on it the next day lmao weird coincidence but dude this story is so fucking good. I didn’t even pull it until the 4th issue after I kept hearing so many good things about it. It’s so good and it’s honestly flying under the radar
The greatest story ever....
That was deep.
And jokers analysis of the situation made sense. He is a sociopath but he takes pride in his work so would want people to definitively know what he did.
Deep
One of the more clever ways they've Trojan Horsed you into picking up a Jim Gordon series...
LOL I see you everywhere 😂😂
Not you again
This story is legendary Rob Glad you’re finally reviewing it
What story is this ? From what comic ?
Thanks in advance.
@@forsakenV12 bruh
Its in the video 🤦♀️
@@DaedricDrift I think he was joking
I wasn't joking.. the content is from THE JOKER solo series (2021)
It was not so obvious to me since I am new to comics.
Thanks
Rob is the greatest I was crying the whole time just by the way he was saying “Gordon”
Batman having money never bothered me, and Rob I think the Joker is a psychopath in the extreme, if there can be an extreme with psychos.
While the joker does display certain traits of a psychopath he has far more sociopathic traits than he does psychopathic, for a start psychopaths usually hide their true nature to convince those around them that they are normal where as sociopaths make it very clear they pretty much don't care about anything or anyone
@@jamiewillis7093 if you want to be more accurate about the clown you would classify him as a child killing homicidal maniac....
In the beginning, Gordon was just beginning as a cop being assigned to Gotham. This was a flashback before going to the present after he retired
Rob you should start a "Best [Insert Villain Name] Story Ever" series
Yes he should.
He's just doing it 🤦🏻♂️
Rob. This gave me chills. So looking forward to the rest of the story. Thank you
After everything he's done how has some billionaire not used his fortune to grease the right hands to have joker declared as Sane so he can go to an actual prison or recieve the death penalty? At best it gives a story of batman actually saving the joker and at worst its a plausible end to a monster or an okayish elseworld tale.
Something like that almost did happen, once. In fact, it was another case of the Joker being framed. In The Joker: Devil's Advocate, a bunch of people are killed by licking postage stamps poisoned with Joker venom. He's innocent, but a rare legal exception foils his usual insanity defense and gets him sent to regular prison to be executed. It's a good read.
Thank you for explaining , really apreciate it
I want to know more about Bane’s daughter.
Same, I wanna see what shorty look like under that mask dog! Lol
@@kenndricktv2108 fax she may be muscular but she probably got a waterfall.
for instance, is she single
All I wanna know is if she has a a onlyfans
Here is everything you need to know- DC has run out of ideas. Methinks that with Venom she’s about as strong as an average dude.
Great Content, Keep up the great information flowing
So, um... Is every Joker comic him being restrained and people talking around him, or him restraining someone and him talking to them? I'm starting to see a pattern.
well, he does love to talk, and is definitely one of those "I so LOVE a captive audience" types
Pssst Joker (Batman in general) is highly overrated. Sorry to break the news to you.
I mean all crime story are the same. Violence and talk scene
@@theraVen27 yes he’s so over rated that he’s the single most popular villain made and people will always love whatever he is in. Your right totally overrated.
@@sond.lollipop8919 Tbh I kinda agree with him. I like Batman but only because of Court Of Owls. I should read more of them, but the concept of Batman vs Joker gets old because its so overworked.
Hey Rob, can you cover the Martian Manhunter Identity story? It’s fantastic and I really want to see MM get more attention
I need more DC from you Rob 🙌🏼👌🏼🔥
It's stories like these that reminds me Joker is extremely "sound and sane." He just likes to mess with people. 🤣
Some people like to watch the world burn
Old school detective Batman is my favorite Batman.
Love it, can't what for the Full Story.
Dude I literally just added this to my pull list yesterday and you did a video right after lmao that’s so cool!
Dude!! This story is dope!!!! I hope you keep up on this one! Buen Trabajo
Rob telling this story just made it so much better like I was liking this story but now it sounds like it could be one of the defining stories for Jim and Joker.
Yea ANYTHING that James Tynion IV is writing is a must-read! Great Vid
I loved this video! Every second of it!
This looks to be a great read. I think I'll pick it up! Thanks Rob and the folks who put you on to this story!
Well. I hope you continue this story because this is AWESOME!
Amazing. I can’t wait for part 2
Wow I need to read this one, sounds amazing!
Thx so much for covering this 🤘
This is beyond one of the best DC comics of all time. It absolutely captures the best of the Joker, his ideology, his drive and morality. As well as Jim Gordon.
Love this comic so much.
Yes was waiting for this
Glad it's being covered here I also greatly enjoyed dopespills and comicstorian's version of these issues
same
Who is dopespills? Not heard of them!
@jragula2816 dope spill is a comic youtuber it a smaller channel but I enjoy his work
13:50 Robs explaination of the safe havens reminded me of the amazing history ofthe Gangster's Paradise in the Twin Cities. Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota. There were so many gangsters in the area, that the crime almost dropped to 0% because were so scared to sneeze in the direction of a rival gangster, mobster or corrupt official.
More of this series please!!!!!!!!
When joker gets serious all bets are off.
The whole “escape” part is the bit that invalidates all this deep conversation about good and evil. People don’t just escape prison, especially multiple times. Murderers don’t continue to murder after being put in prison. That only works in comics where the writers keep giving the villains a way to escape.
It’s a metaphor how true evil can never be contained. The murderer doesn’t need to escape for their evil to leak out into the world.
You see it with the people that come after joker, their kin never got out of prison but their kin’s evil still lingers out in the world through them. And if not them, someone else impacted by their crimes. And it’s a chain reaction that’s never ending.
But the same way that evil infects, good *inspires*
@@WestonEvans good speech bro.
What are you talking people escape from prison or jail all the time and yes murders do get out and go murder again. What kind of bubble do you live in or are you one of those people that think just because it dosnt happen in America then I can’t happen anywhere els.
@@sond.lollipop8919 Gotham is in America.
@@Watch-0w1 yes Ik I was talking about in real life like that original comment was. A lot if Americans act like if it dosnt happen in America thrn it’s not real or dosnt actually happen.
please keep reading DC! Ilove them, and all your videos!
While I think this will end with Jim shooting The Joker I don't think it will be a killing blow- but only because Bruce or Barbara interferes.
yup predictable and unfortunately
Thats the problem with having villains become as iconic as the joker, you can't really kill them off atleast not permanently and if its not permanent it doesn't really make much of an impact
Joker: Devils Advocate. Put that story in your eye holes.
Was that the Chuck Dixon storyline?
@@matthewschwartz6607 Yes
So this is basically The Killing Joke 2.0? This is the Joker trying, again to break Gordon
Jeez for 25mill just hire deathstroke
Or Deadshot.
thats cool to see the motherland in a dc comic. It's weird to see them speaking spanish when most of Belize doesn't speak spanish and they speak creole
Sad
You added a TON of head cannon to what Joker said to Gordon.
That was amazing
Amaaazing
Yeah I was waiting for this story
That was a crazy monologue.
This series is soooo good!
There is no clinical difference between a sociopath and a psychopath!
This better be great!
This is my favorite.
I really would like more of this
Have you ever done a "classic" Deathlok video? I would love you long time!
Dang the art style is on POINT
Okay, this is pretty good
so good
so good
Amazing story
Dan Soder talking comix is great!
Wow, this is extremely interesting and it's just the opening
Someone had a great idea for a Jim Gordon solo series, but knew that it wouldn't sell if they called it that, so now we have a Joker series.
No complaints here.
Beyond Omega Level: Rob Jefferson
Joker is all in the eyes, any actor or picture drawn, you can tell it’s a good portrayal by the eyes
Rob, you keep getting sociopaths and psychopaths confused, bro. Psychopaths are the ones who have no empathy and more prone to violence.
Need all of this now lol
That man with the scarf that sneaks on James Gordon reminds me of The Shadow, lol
Really, I get either Mr. X or nemesis vibes
@@mrmr3657
But neither of them wore a scarf, at least, I think so.
Realizing batman's logic from jokers perspective is hilarious because he's telling the truth: batman is a grown ass man dressed in a bat suit beating up criminals in the middle of the night
That art of the joker laughing over an unconscious Gordon is so good for no reason
Love it. Love the Joker
Awesome
Dang, this story is great so far!
11:17 ayy i just watched the departed the other day. Great film.
Once again your morals make me glad you have your hand on no buttons for life or death.
Jason would jump at the chance of this job
I would love a series of The joker taking the kid Jason is looking after and Jason goes on a mad man mission to find and kill joker while Batman tries to stop
This looks like a story. I will buy it.
I love The Departed reference at 11:16
There needs to be a tax collector villian for bats
IRS Mike Rotundo?
25:10
Rob: "Your Bane from Gotham City?"
Me: But...that's Gordon lol
Rob had another one of his slips =)
Nice
You're bane from Gotham city..... I love it lol.
If villians started taking out villians then that would mean more heroes with more time to hunt fewer villains...that wouldn’t be good at all
Yes
The crime rules and safe places are kinda like the weird rules in the John Wick movies. It's a cool and welcome addition.
Yo, once you feel like going deeper into DC in the future, you should do the DC comics power hierarchy.
Cover the new milestone run with static shock!
It's great
I think "the best joke ever told" would have been a more appropriate title
Excellent work.
If you could make a long ass video about the multiple joker personalities, I’d give you money.
That’s....about as basic as it gets.
Your personal analysis of how he perceives reality and his multiple joker personalities that he meditates between.
Joker looking like a Trickster for this one
this is a tight story
