@@rnfr That’s nice to hear! It has really speed up things for me in that regard that you put more energy and effort in to the recording which makes the mixing process easier! ❤️
@@AsteroidKiller that's compliment for me . nothing negative , Im Chinese and I love Jamaica accent cause I make reggae and dub music ! more feeling & emotion when they talk .
Yeah sorry I said soundcard, maybe I should have said audio interface (to me it’s the same)… anyway… my audio interface are two Motu 828 mkII. I’ve had them for ages. 👍
Hi! Since I’m only using hardware synths and very little plugins the latency is very low and since the auxes only returns the wet signal of the reverb or delay there is nothing to worry about. But off course if you are using some heavy stuff like Ozone you will definitaly notice it! 👍
I’m recording thru 1 & 2 (monitoring thru 3 & 4). But yeah, you’re basicly right that I’m not ”mixing” the recorded tracks. Instead I’ll get the sound or the vibe of the consol when I record instead. This makes it much easier when working on multiple projects in that way that you don’t have to recall the settings on the mixer. ❤️
Great stuff! I’m about ready to rewire my setup into something very similar. Looking forward to more videos.

What sound card are you using? And is that just another version of an audio interface?

@@AsteroidKiller no problem🙌awesome setup
What about the latency sending a signal via aux?

So you use it to get an idea going then record individual components separately through buses 3&4... are you using it much for mixing these days?
