She knew she hit him. I believe she was victim blaming off the bat. It’s John’s fault. Earlier in the day or day before she said John to are setting me up to fail. She knows she struck him. She blames him. Victim blames. It’s John’s fault she did this. That’s her way. Blame others. She’s been doing it ever since.

It is the classic "Now look what YOU made me do" spousal abuse talk. IT is ALL John O'Keefe's OWN FAULT in Karen Read's twisted psyche-He brought IT on Himself-if He was not a lying, cheating blah blah blah. IT becomes shockingly and abundantly clear from that interview Karen Read did with nightline/dateline that Karen Read is still blaming John O'Keefe as she sneers at the victim and his friends "it's like He was the Patron Saint of Canton"-she is angry, mad at the fact that John O'Keefe could not be painted as the bad guy she believes HE was-and wants everyone to dislike John O'Keefe and like her instead and hence this was the start of the Karen Read show.
She actually could not bring herself to describe John O'Keefe in warm loving terms-She labels him "Frugal", which I personally found so very odd as a term of endearment-ODD language and ODD behaviour. NO WAY JACKSON or Yenetti were ever going to let her up on the stand.
I feel so bad for all those she's pointing the finger at! She knows she did it and has been creating trouble for innocent people, but then look how she treats people, like that Sullivan lady. Read is nasty!

Kevin, I was married to a narcissist for decades. Sadly, I learned a lot about sick minds. He loved to fight, loved the chaos and negativity, but most of all, loved how he embroiled me in all his garbage. That was his fuel. By all accounts the investigation is ongoing by there own account a mere 2 weeks ago? So you claim it’s concluded is BS until the report is released or somebody, anybody of a true source confirms that. Not some random guy on the internet, that’s not true.

So that was concluded, They have that report. So if she didn’t do it, then that only means someone in that house did! FBI are not dum sun’s. They are still investigating. I read the letters back and forth from CW and Levy, still ongoing.

I think that the fact that she called him to say that he is a pervert and that he is with another girl and sleeping around, it’s not necessarily an evidence that she didn’t know that she had hit him. I think that at the crime scene if John broke with her, she might immediately have accused him of all those things, because in her mind she could NEVER admit that it was her bad character the reason for him to reject her. So she needs to put the blame on him and after hitting him, she leaves and continues in this delusional transe, not realizing that he never had the chance to get up. If indeed she had hit him by accident and not intentionally she would NEVER behave like she is behaving! Making a hell of the lives of his family and friends and getting so much pleasure from it! She is pure evil! I cannot rest until I see her behind bars!
And thank you Kevin for everything you are doing to help John O’Keefe’s family! Unfortunately I’m observing this case from far away, but I would love to be there at the court to support them!

Curious Kevin, I’m in disagreement with your opinion that she did not know she hit him. Besides all the gadgets in her car going off that an object was near, she called her father at approximately 1:00 am, the first of three times. I think she continued to drink also, because everyone at the bar attested to her seeming to be fine, despite have 9 drinks in three hours, and her appearing quite drunk @ 6:00 am.
If the bartender had admitted she seemed hammered she would have been admitting to a crime. Just saying. Pro drinkers can reach blackout and seem fairly normal to other drunk people. 😊
The went to 2 bars. She was drinking around 2 pm according to her own emails.

The overhead camera on the console, the backup camera, and the warning beeps as her vehicle was approaching the victim, could have left no doubt in KR’s mind that she hit something(!) - and John had just gotten out of her car. That, and her reckless reverse driving, IS second degree.

Even the major news stations that were in the court room are reporting on the expressions and reactions from the jurors in that moment that they were all looking around at each other like what’s going on and they were shoveled out so fast. Yep that really happened but you know auntie Bev is part of that incestuous town as well , the entire town and state is utterly embarrassed at the moment over this grossly negligent investigation, but they are still going to continue to try and save face as little as they can. But this is an about what you think it’s about what is or isn’t so we all will see if Bev will call the jury back in to talk to them and we will all see what the results of that is if she does that the optics are gonna look very very bad if she doesn’t, I’m not holding my breath personally because that little town is so damn incestuous and corrupt from top to bottom they all protect each other. Im sorry but the jurors coming forward and saying they didnt know id they were allowed to vote not guilty for murder is ridiculous. Its their jobs to ask questions of the judge if they have them and it suspiciously is exactly the same issue that yanetti and jackson objected to and then the judge changed the wording. Its total BS. @@annelienel9179 have you tried going 24 mph in reverse. It’s not possible really. And if she did somehow, the AARCA guys concluded that he wasn’t hit by her car and her car did not hit him and their testing was at 15 miles an hour. They also said that if it were faster than 15 miles an hour, then there would’ve been substantial damage to a body. Not one bruise not one fracture or broken bone. Yeah no. That isn’t what happened . We don’t know yet what did happen. But it wasn’t that.

Has anyone ever thought John might have been throwing up right when Karen hit him because he was drunk? Makes sense to me. Also makes sense that’s why he didn’t move or notice the suv backing up ( even though at that speed and with John giving her his back, it would have been hard to understand what was happening).

This juror stuff is all tactics. If it were serious they would have affadavits , not just statements from lawyers saying we heard from so and so who said they said... Lol. This is exactly what the defence team has been doing for past 2 years, the endless infinite number of pre trial motions the defence filed to get charges dropped/thrown out. So the defence are hot off the tracks-This should not concern us as the verdict was not entered into the record. It is not legally binding unless they can get the legislation changed. But this is ALL the defence team's own fault. They accepted the hung jury. Did not ask Jurors to be polled. I think it is outrageous they are tracking down the jurors and getting them to come out and say they reached verdicts on charges 1 and 3 and found in her favour. They will stop at nothing.
It be such an irony if the jurors were confused as a direct result of Alan Jackson's demand to have the verdict slip changed.
Why did not either of the jurors note to Judge Canone state they had agreed vedricts on charges 1 and 3 but could not agree on count 2 of the charges?????

I watched the trial. Her guilty was in her face. Her eyes going back and forth said she knew she hit him.
In my opinion, Karen read is a nasty, vindictive person, who intentionally backed up to hit John with her car.
I partially agree with your reconstruction of events when she’s at home BUT I am sure she knew she hit him, but not that hard. She even texted Turtleboy and said “she clipped him but didn’t think she hit him that hard” so at 12:37 and am 1am she knew she hit but was probably too drunk to realise that she actually struck him hard.
Then around 4am she starts realising what she did.
That’s also why she was angry and vengeful in those voicemails till 1:18am, but in the 5:23 am voicemail she sounds distraught and worried.

The defense motion contradicts the jury foreman’s note to the judge, including the jury was deadlocked (was split and never able to make a decision), did not announce any verdicts in open court, failed to fill out any verdict forms and was dismissed by the judge upon a hung jury. The defense called for a mistrial and did not; ask for a verdict on a count/s, and submit to the court that they would take a verdict on that count/s, and that on the count/s they were hung on a mistrial could be declared. What occurred is not double jeopardy and has no rational/proper basis and is bound to fail: Blueford v Arkansas, 566, U.S. 599 (2012) - Supreme Court.

Case law is what it is, the “he said-she said” is child’s play hearsay doesn’t cut it and the motion will fail. At least in the Alex Murdaugh trial the defense filed affidavits of the jurors attesting to what they alleged (even though their motion failed). These guys are like car salesmen and can’t be taken seriously. Their defense failed - smoke and mirrors, red herring fallacies and the alleged “frame job” and “conspiracy” was unproven.

And because she didn’t and it all happened within 3 seconds, it would have very poor optics if she didn’t bring them all in with attorneys to get their statements. The defense motion (if proven true) would indicate in the least, all the jurors did not believe the defense’s theory but did believe that KR hit JO with her SUV (unintentionally), drove away and left him to die. (Alleged) Juror quote: “No one thought that she hit him on purpose”. Count 2 - Vehicular Manslaughter (265-13, mandatory min 5 years to max 20 years and fines up to $25,000).

No conspiracy going on here. Karen didn’t hit him. And if she didn’t hit him, what happened to him? All 👀 are on the Albert household that night. Yes still need to be proven which will be difficult to do since all evidence of such was long destroyed by mystery people . No one seems to know how any of the video, location data etc vanished. But what we do know and has been proven, is Karen’s location data was deleted in April 2022. Proctor and her phone at that time, not her.

Another juror came out today to say there was an unanimous verdict against the murder charge.
Kevin says that’s all a lie made up by Jackson. Kevin has a source that swears it was 10:2 for conviction on every count. BULLETPROOF.
That is what Jackson said they said, there is no signed Affadavit from any Juror.
@@TopCat8877 I doubt Jackson would misconstrue what the jurors that came to him said by that much. If he is lying about something such as this it could be the end of his bar license. There is going to be further investigation on this. At the very least I think at one time the jurors came to a unanimous verdict on some of the charges.

I think you have it spot on. The only thing i think is by parking in the garage, where she DOESN'T usually park ? It seems like she was almost trying to hide. I like to think storm, parking in the garage is obvious? But nothing is obvious with KR. Which may show she had an idea of what had occurred.
Just to say Kevin Great work on Roadmap to murder-Awesome detective work. Sad to consider how just few hours earlier John O'Keefe began his night out by moving his vehicle out of the garage to allow Karen to drive her SUV into his garage, which We can hear as the sensors beeping as she navigates her SUV inside garage. I really have to wonder at the fact that she was DUI she still managed to drive to O'Keefe's home in record time in Snow storm demonstrating Karen obviously can handle her drink- and drive without incident.
I'm pretty sure that KR was tryin to grab the phone out of John's hand while in the car thus "indicating stair movement". The "stair" data is about the time they were turning around...She was pissed he wanted to go to the party and SHe wanted to "talk". He was tryin to follow the gps to find the house ; missed the street which "pushed her over the edge" Pretty sure she started grabbing at the phone around the turn around spot.

Your ARCCA guys are experts on vehicle data, and their website says they're experts on TechStream Lexus vehicle data. And they are scientists. Do you...you...think accident reconstructionists...scietists...would want the vehicle data? Isn't that the most vital information for a reconstruction? But they didn't ask for it. Do you think they wondered why the US Attorney didn't send that info to them? They had it, or at least their partners, KR's defense team, did. NO!! Kevin, intent regarding the law is pretty straight forward...
KR told LE that she damaged her taillight the “night” before but didn’t know how (confirmed by testimony and her arraignment hearing) and had also told Kerry Roberts and Jen McCabe (KR admits this via a later interview). If KR was referring to hitting JO’s SUV after 5:00 am (and after she had allegedly gone to sleep around 1:30 am) she would not have used the word “night” but would have said “morning”.
