    I found you! I went natural almost 10 years ago because of you!!! I remember watching your videos after school in middle school. Taking my moms stuff following your hair recipes 😂. Here I am graduated college and found you! I’ve lost my sauce I once had with my hair. I just forgot how to take care of it. Thank you so much! You were my inspiration when it came to my hair!

    My favorite is actually henna. I love the color deposit that it leaves on my hair but also the strengthening properties without the harmful chemicals. Love Ayurvedic treatments!

      Henna is my fave too! Was worried about the hair color change but loving the reddish brown tint in the sun and the strengthening. My hair has been growing tremendously since I’ve started my weekly henna glosses.

      henna does make your hair strong but why is the fact that it basically act as a relaxer never mentioned. :/

    Great recipe idea. My hair is still undecided about coconut though. Hates it in oil form, water is OK, milk it depends 😁 I'll try and see. My favourite herbs are amla, hibiscus and moringa. As usual your music made me smile. Thank you. You might want to add more hash tags for the algorithm to pick up.

    My hair got spoilt when I switched to shampoos to be honest.

    Thank you for the simplicity of this recipe. I've been doing DIY AYURVEDIC hair care for about a year or so now and my once thinning hair is transforming right before my eyes. It's thicker and grows fast and looks healthy! I bought some Cassia to make a gloss because henna has a tendency to loosen my curl pattern and add red highlights that I don't want. Love the simplicity because now I can layer with my own herbs. My favorite is Amla oil and powder too!💕🌺🙏🏽

      I'm using cassia too because I don't want the red highlights either. It's effective but I like my hair pure black and not the red-brown black henna makes it.

    Thank for sharing I’ve never tried this Aryaveda powder before so with coconut milk that you mixed it with do it needs to sit for awhile before applying?So you used this as a pre poo do you follow up with a moisturizer conditioner? Also with these same 2 ingredients can you use as a deep conditioning but what would it be moisturizing or protein treatment? How often do you do pre poo like this and how often do you use it as a deep conditioner?

    • @FusionofCultures
      @FusionofCultures  3 роки тому +11

      The cassia can stain light coloured hair when it's prepared the traditional way and left for the 'dye' to be released similarly to the process of staining with Henna. The natural yellow compounds in chrysophanic acid will stain blonde or grey hair a golden or blondish hue depending on the length of time left on your hair. I have grey hair and I've been using cassia for years with no staining but I dont have a head full of greys either. I hope that helps x
