Dangggg what did you think about this one?! Did you like it? Do you think it was too difficult to remember? Tell us your thoughts! For our reaction to the Studio Choom version of this song, head over to patreon.com/handsomesausages :D
What I'm getting from this song is that somebody really, really misses a-ha. That will never not jar me a bit when I hear it, because like you said, that one part is really close to "Take On Me". But I love that they went for the classic 80's synthpop sound, and the song has really grown on me.
This song is awesome. They're able to show their vocal skills and versatility with the different genres on this album. In Blue Spring, Beomgyu played the guitar (and then some). Kai is also a member who can play instruments (guitar, drums and piano). Kai has been playing his guitar recently and Taehyun bought him an electronic drum kit for his birthday. Hopefully they'll strengthen their skills further and contribute instrumental to their upcoming music.
i’m so happy y’all recognize how strong they are as vocalists. all these different vocal styles are probably difficult to pull off, but txt always does it so flawlessly. they’re such skilled singers and i hope they get even more recognition for just how amazing they are!!
Freefall is truly flawless in its discography. The mv feels like a movie and your reactions are always so point.💕💕 Please continue to love TXT forever moaaa
I also thought that the sound is so similar to A1's Take On Me.. It's so nostalgic and it brings you down memory lane, with TXT's own touch to it.. It's a mixture of classic synth pop and with the modern TXT pop that we all grew to love.. My brain is already looping this song 24/7.. 😊
I really like the song, it's super catchy and obviously well sung! But I don't really feel the itch to re-listen to it all the time like I do with other TXT tracks. I think its something about how compressed the chorus feels? Like it sounds a bit hollow or flat somehow... like their vocals are further back in the mix and for some reason I think that makes it not hit as hard for me. Idk even the bass hits harder in the verses and then it flattens out for the chorus. I was trying to think back to whether that was quite common for music from the 80s, but I wonder if you guys have more knowledge on how mixing trends have changed over the decades? Because I know a lot of music now focuses on bringing out the bass notes for sure. :)
I was really into chasing that feeling when I listened to it the first time, usually there’s some songs where I like the song a lot but my liking for it doesn’t really grow the more I listen to it, but I really agree with the people saying it becomes catchier and better every time you listen to it, I feel like chasing that feeling is a title track where if you were only a casual fan of txt if you hadn’t listened to it in a while and you heard it again you’d be like “Oh I forgot how good it was, why did I stop listening to it”
I cant believe it. I watched 4 reaction videos before yours....all girls....and none of them reacted to Kai at -8:38 at all. Very cool move with the jump in the middle, head bob times with h the outstretched hand....so good. So...you get the sub.
They said in the beginning of this video that they reacted to Growing Pain. I think they're reacting to all the songs on Freefall album in tracklist order.

never thought that TXT will choose synth pop, but i love it so much. its simple but memorable. The soft vocal, falcetto, and high note, they killin it
I’m addicted to this song. Cant stop listening to it. The whole album is also a masterpiece.
This album is masterpiece 😊😅
The 80s synth/beat is just so good. I'm glad artists like Txt are bringing it into Kpop. Daebak

Everything about this mv is perfect. The vocals to the cinematography is so satisfying. Txt never disappoints❤
I'm in loop with this song from the day it was released. Every day. All day. I'm so tired but I can't stop to listen to it... Help! ❤
I love this -reminds me of when Take On Me came out (I was 20 then !)
