Chasing that feeling reminds me of “Take On Me” by a-ha (from the 80s). Probably before your time :)
@@tatiana7225 LOOOL i'm sure you don't mean to be condescending but 80's music is my favourite decade of music actually and ZB1 - In Bloom actually samples Take on me so it's been discussed as a reference recently!
And it's also a classic.
TXT really have cultivated a TXT-fied sound & I love, any sound they put Their hands on, it feels authentically Them 💕
"they're so them" is the best description of txt.. they've had such a clear vision for their group, even through all of the genre changes
I found what you said at 9:20 so interesting because you said “it’s like the song want to be happy but it can’t” is exactly what I thought the meaning of the song was so I found it interesting that the production made you feel that way. They are chasing after a feeling they can’t reach like they are trying to find happiness but are stuck feeling sad. Great reaction.
I guess that probably was the intention but I sooo wish they gave it to us for like the choruses so they you miss the high even more! Thank you!
After listening to Chasing That Feeling about a zillion times, I came to the conclusion that the song is a deliberate prank on the listener - it leaves you wanting for something more (you are literally chasing a feeling listening to it). It's a good song, but it is wanting some kind of evolution that doesn't really come.
The song that keeps making my ears perk up after doing a full album listen is Blue Spring! I love the rawness of the opening vocals.

I love Kai so much, like he is and will always be my bias!
There are just so many moments where he doesn't seem confident in his dancing during practices, but if you see him dance on variety shows and tiktoks it's so much more fluid and smooth! I don't know if he over thinks matching the choreography with the others too much or if he feels like he has to hold back, but when he is relaxed he gives us 150-300% and it's so much fun to watch!
He is great !!! I think People just compare too much , for me, he is the second next to yeonjun. Not just his dance but the whole performance. He is amazing!!
I think the song is written to make you have that feeling. They are "Chasing That Feeling" and are trying to capture it. I think the instrumental and vocals give you that feeling of incompleteness. That's just my take. Love TXT❤

Soobins dancing is a+ for me (yeah he's my bias) but normally yeonjun I can't take my eyes off him when dancing ..but soobs has improved loads
My favourite song from the album is Skipping Stones. The first time i heard it, I was like??? It sounded weird and haunting but the melody is wow! Now i am obsessed. TXT albums never disappoint to be honest. I didn't love Chasing That Feeling at first but everything changed when I heard it with headphones on a car ride. I get it now.
TXT recently did a ''Tiny Desk Concert'' with 3 songs of the album, its really a great display of TXT's vocal colors🔥🍽

As soon as you said you wish the song was happier I was like yes…CHORUS IN A MAJOR KEY!!! And then you said it and the scream that I scrempt!!!
Like I understand the concept and they killed execution of the concept that they were going for but I do wish that that chorus was major just for my own ear’s satisfaction

im so glad they arent doing the punk pop sound anymore and just going more towards rock. I WAS TIRED. but also is it just me or has kpop been stuck in the 80s synth pop sound for ages now. its getting tiring especially when most of these groups make it a main single to promote
chasing that feeling had to grow on me a little,, but i also realized after listening to it without the mv that it feels a little empty at first because theres just SO much happening in the mv,, and the song is a bit more calm and feel-good for such a hype/action mv... individually both the mv and the song are amazing, but i do think the vibes just didn't match like at all
I actually agree with you. I love txt but this single is really missing something. Idk I think they are trying a sound more comercial but it doesn’t feel like a txt song. It doesn’t have personality

I’m giving thoughts on music for fun, the fact a strangers opinion triggers you this much says a lot about how insecure you are lol.
