    Still after eleven years, these are the best videos on PDEs I have found. Thank you so much. A great advantage nowadays is that we can ask AI about every step. Great help, too. Even if not exactly right, they bring the "ideas" and points of view, one eventually forgets. About concepts I do not understand, they answer with simple words plus an example. Great!

    thanks for doing PDE tutorials -- i once wished there were a khan academy for PDEs but it's not the right audience for their purpose, so you're the next best thing. keep up the awesome work

    please how do we know when to use old or even function for solution of wave and diffusion equation

      It depends on the boundary conditions. Dirichlet BC -> odd extension, Neumann BC -> even extension.
